Practical
In the low season, the sanitary facilities are only partially usable. You have to go to the swimming pool to shower, at least it's clean and warm there. Unpleasantly long walk to the toilet when it rains.

Too bad about the good facilities
The site itself is in a great location, view of the water; reception staff friendly and courteous. About 15 minutes walk to Wexford. But: I have never seen such filthy sanitary facilities. The toilet flush has too little pressure, brushes not available, no cleaning during the 2 days of my stay (and the... way the walls, wall surfaces, shelves in the showers, sinks and the dusty fan looked, not even last season). I cannot understand the good reviews regarding the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. The secure WLAN was also not available.

Useful transit point for the ferry
An estimated 100 pitches are available and there is a free choice of pitches. The most popular pitches are of course those in the front row with a sea view. The 10m wide lawn in front is reserved for tents. The ground consists of a concrete surface for the vehicles and next to it is a well-kept lawn.... When we arrived (5 pm), the reception was not manned. There was only a note on the door saying that you should report to the swimming pool (50m further on). It is advertised with "Free WLAN", but at our pitch at the 2nd wash house there was already no reception. My attempt to get reception in the front area of the pitch with the notebook failed because the lounge was locked, as was the kitchen. The town of Wexford is less than 1000m away, but despite the proximity to the town, hardly any road noise is audible. There is a small headland in front of the campsite which is great for dog walking. In mid-May we paid 27 euros for a mobile home including 2 people and electricity, our dogs didn't cost anything extra. One shower costs 2 euros! You should have toilet paper with you and there are no toilet brushes. Although the site is in a good location, it is only functionally designed and is lovelessly run.
