After checking in, we were personally escorted to our pitch by both host and hostess. They also helped us get the caravan pushed into place.

The campsite is scenically located at the end of a closed road and has views of the Baltic Sea from almost all units.
The campsite has good facilities, a small kiosk that also offers a wide selection of camping equipment, and... a camp manager who goes to great lengths to ensure guests have a great stay.
Gudhjem Camping is located close to town and within walking distance of both the center and the harbor, where you'll find shops, restaurants, a smokehouse and everything else that belongs in a holiday town.
Gudhjem Camping is also a good starting point for experiences throughout Bornholm, which has a lot to offer.
I've spent many vacations at Gudhjem Camping and would give my very best recommendations for the campsite.Automatiškai išversta. - Ursula R.August 2017TeigiamiGreat location, albeit very steep.NeigiamiThe sanitary facilities, although they were under renovation when we left.Beautifully situated placeWe stayed at this campsite for two weeks in August. When we asked by email whether we needed to book in advance, we were told no. When we arrived, we were told that there was no more space available. However, the owner then allocated us a pitch after all. As the coast is very rocky and steep, a hole... was dug for us without further ado, in which we stood with one wheel of the caravan so that we could stand up straight. You have a great view of the sea from this campsite (as long as there aren't others in front of you blocking the view). However, if you are looking for a sandy beach, this is not the place for you. It became a little emptier from the end of August. The owner is nice. Unfortunately, the path to the sanis is very steep. You get a shower card to shower. You can only get into the sanitary facilities and kitchen with a key (so don't forget it). There are plenty of sinks and gas stoves in the kitchen, as well as a fridge (but no freezer). Coins are required for the washing machine and dryer. The toilets and the shower/washroom are shared facilities for men and women. The shower/washroom area was in urgent need of refurbishment. However, at the end of our stay, the partition walls and pipes were torn out to renovate everything. So it can only get better. Sat reception unproblematic. We found the location of the campsite excellent because you could walk to the town, which is very nice. However, the path there is very steep in places. There is a Brugsen and Spar market in the village as well as a great smokehouse. A fish buffet is offered there for the equivalent of around €18 per person. There is also a beautiful glass-blowing workshop, lots of souvenir stores and an ice cream parlor. We also enjoyed the ferry crossing to the so-called "pea islands", which are called Christiansö. The price/performance ratio is okay.Automatiškai išversta.
