- André K.July 2024TeigiamiEverything, toilets, washrooms, facilitiesNeigiamiNoneVery good campsite near ParisAs we had been there exactly 12 years ago, we thought the campsite was excellent! Everything had really improved, except the satellite reception, as you really are in the deepest forest here! We were here shortly before the 2024 Olympics. The place was crazy full but everything was good! Clean, nice... and friendly - not just reception, but also showers and toilets! We were here 12 years ago with a diesel bus, now with a fully electric car (Fisker Ocean ONE) We were able to charge the car on site without any problems (electricity was included!) In Paris as well as Versailles you can use parking spaces for free with an electric car, which otherwise have a daily price of up to 34 €. During our stay there were children's entertainers several times, so that the parents also had some peace and quiet!Automatiškai išversta.
- Hubert G.April 2022TeigiamiClean wash houses Proximity to the castle (3.5km) heated pool friendly staffNeigiamiexpensive (children from 11 pay the full price, so in the low season just under 70€/night for four) A little noisy (train station nearby) uneven pitches, very high wedges required free WLAN only available around reception Apart from the pool, some board games and 1 TV, few leisure activities for kids (the adjacent football pitch is not one of them and is often occupied by clubs) No store, hardly any stores within walking distanceExpensive, a bit noisy, uneven - but the kids loved it here!Huttopia typically quite expensive and family-hostile pricing - children from 11 pay the full price, so in the low season just under 70€/night for four.
A little noisy during the day (6am-10pm, train station nearby).
The rather small, uneven pitches require very high wedges so that you can stand up... straight, our wedges were not enough.
Free Wi-Fi is only available around reception.
Apart from the pool, some board games and 1 TV, there are few leisure activities for kids (the adjacent football pitch is not one of them and is often occupied by clubs).
No store, hardly any stores within walking distance, so you should stock up outside in good time.
We liked the clean wash houses, the proximity to the castle
the proximity to the castle (3.5km), the heated pool and the always friendly staff.Automatiškai išversta. - Henning Z.August 2020TeigiamiClose to the highway, Paris and Versailles easily accessibleNeigiamiNoisy (traffic, soccer field next door with training until 10 pm), Very expensive (136,- for 2 nights!)Unfortunately not the best HuttopiaThe place is apparently mostly used for transit.
Huttopia is usually kept quite chic and well maintained.
Unfortunately really loud and mega expensive.Automatiškai išversta. - Winfried L.September 2019TeigiamiQuiet location, very nice sanitary facilities, close to the Palace of VersaillesNeigiaminoneBeautiful oasis in the middle of the cityThe access road can be quite narrow due to parked cars on the last two hundred meters with a trailer. Otherwise a beautiful natural campsite with terraced pitches. Chocks are very useful for some pitches. The reception was friendly. The sanitary facilities are great and clean. Despite the location in the middle of the city, there is no traffic noise. The Palace of Versailles is easily accessible on foot or by bike. We felt at home there.Automatiškai išversta.
- Marianne K.June 2018TeigiamiVery good connection to the city center of Paris. Very friendly staff. Absolute peace and nature. Gate is closed at night.NeigiamiRestaurant too expensive. Shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity not so special. We will definitely be back!!!The ratings from 2015 and earlier are no longer up to date. We have never seen conditions like those shown in the photos anywhere on the site. The sanitary facilities are simple, but absolutely clean. Some of the pitches are not completely flat, but you normally have a wheel chock for that. They are... big enough - even for larger caravans with awning/awning + car. Everything has enough space! There are wooden benches and tables on many pitches. The site is absolutely quiet on the edge of the forest and also has an old tree population that offers plenty of shade. The pool isn't very big, but it's definitely enough for cooling off. You don't go on a beach vacation in Paris... There is a small playground and bike rental. The ladies at the registration desk were very friendly and helpful. Free WLAN and internet at the registration desk. The gate is closed at night and you can only enter the site with a code. It's less than a 10-minute walk to the train station and from there it's 20 minutes to the Eiffel Tower. And when you come back from the hustle and bustle of the city, you have absolute peace and quiet in the middle of nature. What more could you want? Only the shopping facilities are somewhat modest. A bakery delivers bread and croissants, and there is also a bakery on the way to the train station. There is a small supermarket nearby, but it is relatively expensive. There is a Lidl about 6 km away. So it's best to bring food from home. The restaurant on site is overpriced. But apart from that: the perfect place for us (family with 2 children and dog)! We will definitely be back! Thumbs up!Automatiškai išversta.
- Iris P.May 2018TeigiamiPeace and cleanlinessNeigiamiPitches partly uneven; leveling wedges requiredGreat place near ParisWe were on a short trip around Paris with 2 campervans and were glad to have found this campsite on Camping.info. About the site: the reception was very friendly and multilingual. Everything is well explained and they offer a service like at a tourist information office. Access to the site is guaranteed... at all times by code. If you go on excursions by car and arrive late, there is a large parking lot in front of the campsite. The site is located in and near the forest. Very quiet and clean. Many pitches with picnic tables. Slight unevenness in the ground due to the forest; leveling wedges required. Swimming pool is small but adequate. The restaurant has a manageable offer, but everyone should find something. From salad to stone oven pizza (wafer-thin). It was delicious. There is also a games corner with international games (Four Wins, Mastermind, chess, etc.) + table football for the bad weather alternative. Sanitary facilities: There are unisex sanitary blocks with an intelligent layout. Well cleaned and therefore clean. The toilets even have a toilet seat. Excursions: It's a 10-minute walk to the bus and train station. From there you can be in Paris at the Eiffel Tower within 25 minutes (for 3 EURO). Perfect. The Palace of Versailles can be reached by bus in 4 stops (for 2 EURO), by car it is 5.5 km. Apart from that, it's just a suburb of Paris: quiet, manageable in terms of amenities and other attractions (apart from Versailles Palace), just suburban flair. If we go to Paris again, we will definitely head for this place again.Automatiškai išversta.
- Stefan E.August 2017Teigiamibeautiful natural forest area swimming pool quiet Paris is easily accessibleNeigiamiThe urinals were on the outside of the sanitary building, without a door or privacy screen.Good location near Paris in a beautiful wooded areaBeautiful location in the forest area of Versailles. Natural terrain. Not too big, therefore quiet. Good starting point to visit Paris and Versailles. Paris can be reached quickly by train (about 30 minutes), the train station is a few minutes walk away. There is also a small, well-maintained swimming pool. The toilets and showers were well maintained and in good condition.Automatiškai išversta.
- Uwe K.June 2017Teigiamivery quiet, very shadyNeigiamiunfortunately once again the insufficient number of sanitary facilitiesSuitable for visiting the Palace of Versaillesbeautiful nature CP with terraced pitches; place is interesting if you want to visit Versailles Palace - distance approx. 3 km - very easy to reach by bike; location CP to visit Paris unsuitable in our opinionAutomatiškai išversta.
- Jan Z.May 2017TeigiamiShady pitches, sufficient electricity connections, good camping restaurantNeigiamiWhen it rains, the car washes are unfortunately dirty, as the dirt from the forest is carried inCampsite in the WaltThe campsite is close to the castle and you can easily go shopping in the village on foot, Paris is also easily accessible (approx. 50 minutes by train) and the train station is approx. 10 minutes' walk from the campsiteAutomatiškai išversta.
- Sebastian J.June 2016TeigiamiLocation great natural surroundings with large tree populationNeigiamipartly narrow paths uneven placesNatural space in a good locationA place that is left natural and rustic and scores with its location in Versailles with good connections to Paris. We were there during the European Championships, when the square was naturally full to the brim with party-happy soccer fans - which is why our rating comes from a special time ;) The square... is actually well signposted, but you should follow them exactly, otherwise you will quickly get "trapped" in a network of one-way streets. The last street before the site is also a one-way street and you should make sure that no one is coming towards you. The pitches are quite uneven due to their "natural" condition and are also a little muddy in rainy times. Some of the roads and bends are quite narrow and tight, so large caravans may have problems. The sanitary facilities are basically well integrated into the site, but are undersized when fully occupied and therefore not spotless. A small snack bar/restaurant by the pool also forms a kind of common room, which also has games and books. As we booked well in advance, the prices were very good. However, spontaneous arrivals had to pay more than twice as much. All in all, a decent place, which is particularly impressive due to its location.Automatiškai išversta.
- Rigobert L.March 2016TeigiamiGood connection to Paris. Castle within walking distance. Beautiful forest right next to the campsite for a walk with the dog.NeigiamiNot suitable for bad weather. What do you expect when you go to Paris? This campsite is really great for exploring Paris. There is a good train connection to Paris. There is a small store on the way for the essentials, so nothing stands in the way of exploring Paris and the surrounding area. We walked to the Palace of Versailles with the children. The place is not suitable... for an extended vacation. But that's what you go to another place for! The site is only suitable for good weather, e.g. showers are very open. Which was a problem for the children during our week-long stay in cold, wet weather.Automatiškai išversta.
- Heiner M.August 2015TeigiamiNear VersaillesNeigiamiSmall, uneven places in the forestVisit to VersaillesWe were on this square during a visit to Versailles. The pitches are rather small and uneven. The sanitary facilities leave a lot to be desired.Automatiškai išversta.
- Jürgen T.April 2014TeigiamiThanks Camping info that you can post pictures for viewing.NeigiamiJust bad I hope the pictures arrive as they have been deleted by whoever.Huttopia Versailles supplementHello caravan and motorhome enthusiasts, after a round trip through Normandy, my wife and I wanted to visit the Palace of Versailles. We thought a night at the Huttopia campsite would be suitable. I would advise everyone not to visit this campsite. It is described as a nature campsite but I think it... is a complete disaster. The campsite has nothing to do with cleanliness, order and flair, even in the vicinity of a large city. I can only give our opinion of this campsite an unsatisfactory. If it is possible I will attach pictures, then you can make yourself a picture about it. Pictures have been deleted I will add them again Jan. 2017Automatiškai išversta.
- Robert S.September 2013Again and againWe just set off spontaneously and arrived there, it was a very nice week in September on a beautiful natural campsite.Automatiškai išversta.
- André K.July 2013This place was as in the description very good to visit the Palace of Versailles but also to visit Paris. The day ticket for public transport costs 12 euros and is valid for the whole of Paris. The washrooms and showers were first class, but not always completely clean - which was partly caused by the... campers themselves!!! The narrowness of the site is unfortunately true. We had problems with our WW (7mtr) - but with a mover on board everything went well! The staff at reception were extremely obliging. English is also spoken.Automatiškai išversta.
- Martin R.July 2013The site looks very nice at first glance. On closer inspection, it is very difficult to set up the caravan in the narrow plots on very uneven ground. The sanitary facilities were partly closed and not very clean. A renovation of the sanitary facilities would be appropriate. The price-performance ratio... is not appropriate. The location is ideal for a visit to Paris and Versailles. Type: Buy a day family ticket for the train directly at the station, it's cheaper than at the campsite.😐Automatiškai išversta.
- Thomas R.August 2012Stopover ParisNice place for a sightseeing tour to Paris but also recommended for a longer stay. The alternative accommodations are interesting.Automatiškai išversta.
- S. K.September 2011Conveniently located for Paris with not very easy access (small roads). On the site itself, some VERY uneven pitches scattered in the forest. Nothing for larger caravans or motorhomes. In the off-season there was a completely collapsed and abandoned tent on one pitch and a rotten car in another corner.... When we complained that we were peeing on our feet through a broken siphon in the only urinal that had not been shut off due to a defect, we only received a response after insistent persuasion to the extent that they promised to look into it at some point. Internet would have been possible, but very expensive. Free at the computer in reception. We liked Huttopia in Rambouillet much !!! better 4 years ago, so we were quite disappointed this time.Automatiškai išversta.
- Joachim L.September 2011The only good thing about the square is that you can walk to the train station in about 10 minutes and from there you can get off at the Eiffel Tower in about 20 minutes. It is even quicker to get to the Palace of Versailles. The site is overpriced and overcrowded in high season. The pitches are adventurous.... Uneven, difficult to reach and sometimes very steep. Don't forget your wheel chocks. Some pitches are inaccessible without outside help (fortunately there is some help among the campers) or a mover. In September, the falling acorns are also a nuisance, causing loud noises not only through the caravan roofs, but especially through the tin roofs of the mobile homes standing everywhere. On the other hand, the road traffic and the aircraft and train noise are well tolerable. The sanitary buildings are in poor condition. Some of the showers did not work or the toilets were simply closed due to technical defects. There is plenty of space for dog owners to run around. There is a lovely forest path right next to the site.Automatiškai išversta.
- peter k.July 2011Expensive, uneven site in the middle of a forest. Pitching a WW or similar is difficult. Site is usually fully booked. Reservation required. Located 10 minutes by bike from Versailles. Swimming pool and restaurant available. Narrow road to the campsite.Automatiškai išversta.
