D.October 2024Teigiami- warm sanitary building - Nice family consultation - dry pitch - cleanliness - Wellness offerNeigiami- the opening hours of the swimming pool unfortunately only until 6 pm from Sunday to Thursday, so it was quite crowded -Beautiful week in fallWe are repeat offenders. We visited this course for the 5th time this fall. You can see how much is invested in the campsite every year. Now we were able to see the oversized reception. (Is that really necessary? Well)
We were in the green area, these are standard pitches and they were in a relatively... quiet location and the wash house was newly renovated and modern. Next year there will be a fitness studio. We had access to the wellness center from Monday to Thursday, which we really liked. We also liked the fact that it was quiet and only accessible from the age of 16. We ate pizza on the square, highly recommended. You can get a lot of things for your daily needs in the store. Blavand itself is actually always full, at least on the days we were there.Automatiškai išversta.

It was very crowded. We sometimes had to wait until we could go to the swimming pool or indoor playground. The campsite pays well for this. For the high prices that you have to pay when booking (booking fee of 10.- e.g.) you would have to go to the swimming... pool every day. Unfortunately, we didn't really like the swimming pool. Stupid layout with the different small pools. You couldn't really swim there - no space and lots of people. Only our 8-year-old son liked the slides. But you had to queue there for up to 20 minutes on one day....My daughter and I were only there once for 30 minutes. In the swimming pool. We always had to wait at the indoor playground because it was absolutely full.
Then, on the penultimate day, our row in the giving area was completely flooded. The last 8 seats were completely under 10cm of water. We were a bit luckier, we only had a few puddles, but the awning was still under water.
Our wash house (30) was really great. Everything was new, modern and clean! Unfortunately, the cookhouse was always a bit cold to sit in for long periods. I also liked the proximity to the campsite - everything was close to the river and the on-site supply. We were able to buy fresh bread rolls every day, ordered pizza once without any fuss and the ice cream and fish & chips were also great. At the reception they were always very friendly and many things were possible digitally, such as the Armand or the barrier via cell phone.Automatiškai išversta.- R. Repeat offenderThis is the fourth time we've been to this campsite, we've always been here during the fall vacations, and this year was no exception. This year the campsite was fully booked. This made a booking necessary, spontaneous arrival was not possible. There is already a good promise, 20 euros site selection... and 10 euros booking fee. We were in the yellow area. At the end of the path it was very muddy and slippery on the paths. The kitchen was quite fresh, probably uninhibited when no one was cooking. And in the swimming pool, the temperature of the pool at the back was just too fresh for us. But that was all the criticism. Despite the really bad weather (rain and storms) we enjoyed this week and are going home well rested. We had two kids with us, aged 15 and 11. They were busy and happy at the fishing lake and also in the indoor area. The approach has a well-equipped store and you can get a lot for your daily needs here. Fresh bread rolls and sandwiches are also available there every day. A new reception building is currently being built and there is constant investment in the site. Our wash house was renovated and everything was clean. You can open the barrier via app. This year there were new wristbands for access to the swimming pool and indoor pool. We will be coming back to this campsite for a 5th time next year.Automatiškai išversta.

Total price must be paid immediately upon booking.Actually very nice - with some compromisesWe had booked an XL comfort pitch with private sanitary facilities near the beach in June.
After the great advertising pictures and the 6* we probably raised our expectations a little too high. The private sanitary facilities were rather old and not really well cleaned on arrival. The shower head was... calcified and there were heaps of hairs from the previous guest. When the "cleaning team" was free next to us, one of 3 employees entered the sani and after 1 minute all 3 drove away again. Next free seat - same game. That explains it then. The public sani looked good, but we didn't use them.
The grounds themselves could be better maintained for 6*.
We liked the wellness area and it was also included during our travel period. For children there is the western town and plenty of opportunities to play. The proximity to the sea is great. The fishing lake is also very nicely done with direct pitches for anglers. There is an extra dog area behind it. There is also the possibility of horse riding behind the western town.
The campsite is of course huge and the paths sometimes confused us. You need a bit of time, but after a few walks you have it under control. We found the normal pitches a bit cramped. On the comfort pitches you can also park 2 caravans/motorhomes/tents. This is certainly great for some, but unfortunately we found it extremely noisy at times with lots of people, children and dogs on the adjacent pitches. However, as it got very chilly in the evening, we were at least able to get a good night's sleep.
The village offers plenty of places to stroll and store.
Our conclusion: Nice place, but the price is not necessarily justified. I guess everyone wants to go south...
We have great weather, although of course always accompanied by wind, the kids have a play paradise here that is hard to beat. Large play hall, extra trampoline hall, beautiful... playgrounds, football pitch, fishing lake and a beautifully designed swimming area, all free to use. Parents also have an exclusive wellness area here!
Kitchen equipped with cooking facilities, oven, microwave, sitting area.
The landscape is a dream, the sea is 200m from the campsite, the beach is beautiful and we can't complain about anything major here. There are plenty of places to visit.

We had booked a stay from 05. to 12.08.. After there was a travel warning from the Foreign Office on 25.07. due to the high Covid-19 incidence for the whole of Denmark (which was withdrawn on 01.08. as there is no longer a classification into simple risk... areas), we had tried to rebook or cancel the stay. Unfortunately, no one can be reached by phone at any time of the day, so after 15 minutes on hold, you hang up exasperated. Emails only ever refer to the terms and conditions and state that the Blavand region is not affected by Covid-19. Therefore, it is not possible to cancel or rebook. Unfortunately, no offer from the operator to offer the pitch elsewhere and then at least credit part of the amount.
With a permanent incidence of over 100, one could expect a concession from the operator at such times. We would have liked to have stayed there next year, but will NEVER think about booking there again.

Otherwise, there is nothing to criticize here.Top campsiteThe campsite really offers something for everyone. For our 9 children, aged from 1 year to 14 years, there was something for everyone. Swimming pool, playgrounds, indoor playgrounds, one for the older children and one for the younger ones, as well as the trampoline center. Fun for the whole family!
Attention... is always paid to cleanliness and everyone is super friendly. The beautiful surroundings are perfect for excursions and walks.
We rented 2 fisherman's huts, as these are particularly advantageous in October with their facilities (underfloor heating). The place offers a lot and is simply beautiful. However, we have now experienced something that has made me very disappointed, sad and angry. We booked 1 week with our caravan in the... spring for the fall vacations and already paid in full. We didn't cancel our booking at the time, but why would we have done that? In any case, it is now not possible for us to go on vacation and I then asked whether we have to pay 100% in the event of a cancellation ..... whereupon the following answer came:

The question about the refund depends on when you cancel your vacation, between 30-60 days you can get half the money, but if it is later you can unfortunately not get any without a cancellation protection.

Because of this email I assumed that we would get 50% back and have canceled.
But then I received an email that I will not get anything back because I don't have a cancellation policy. But the email above says otherwise. And even if I have been given wrong information, I think you have to find a solution and, if necessary, stand by your word and refund me 50%..... about 200, - Well, in any case, Hvidbjerg has behaved very stubbornly and arrogantly and has no interest in standing by his statement from the email or finding a solution. For us such a behavior is unacceptable and who treats his guests like this can not really be a good host. For this reason, Hvidbjerg Strand is taboo in the future ..... unfortunately ..... because we used to love the place. What a pity.Automatiškai išversta.

You have to pay the full amount when booking, we no longer do that.Wonderful location but questionable booking modalitiesThe area of the CP is very large and there are many possibilities to spend your vacation here: In addition to simple tents, camper vans or motorhomes, you can also rent cabins of various categories or even rooms in a hotel. You can also book a pitch with its own bathroom and whirlpool. 3 restaurants... and a small fun pool complete the luxury vacation. WLAN is available almost everywhere on the site. The site also has its own riding stables and fishing pond.
The distances to the shops, beach and restaurants are short.
Unfortunately, shooting exercises are often held in an adjacent military area, so the caravan can shake considerably when detonations occur, and if you are a fan of the Eurofighter 2000, you can often admire it flying over or refueling in the air.
I find the booking policy very negative: you are forced to pay the entire amount in advance, if you can't take the trip because of Corona, for example, we were rebooked as a gesture of goodwill. You don't get your money back! Unfortunately, there are no discussions, the campsite doesn't need that, so we have canceled our booking for next year. I pay a maximum of DKK 500, which is normal. We are extremely disappointed with the registration procedure and, in my opinion, the unlawful withholding of the total amount (a good €400) due to an error made by the campsite staff during registration.
I can... only warn against communicating via the campsite's website, as this is not verifiable for the camper later on.
Shortly before the reopening of the campsites, when there was still contradictory information on the Internet regarding the entry of Germans into Denmark, we were confirmed via the website when I asked that we were also welcome as German campers at the time, but please book online as they were overloaded.
We then booked with our German address, received a written confirmation and the full amount (not just a deposit) was requested and paid. And then we were demonstrably turned away at the border. Even after several emails with the manager, they will keep my money without any service and with the argument of 'force majeure', which absolutely does not apply here at this time.
What a shame, we will definitely never go to this campsite again, as we were so cheated as a customer / camper, I just don't like the basic attitude.

What can I say.... This is how a vacation should be. The campsite leaves nothing to be desired. The bathing area, the wellness area, the sanitary facilities, the service buildings with the huge kitchens, some... with TV, the bathing lake, the agility course for the dogs (unfortunately it was under water when we were there), dog bags and waste garbage cans everywhere. You are immediately by the sea, wonderful walking and hiking trails and cycling through Blavand is a delight. There is a large supermarket with everything you need, very good local restaurants, a fine fish stall and delicious ice cream. In the off-season, the prices are also perfectly acceptable. The only point of criticism: the condition of our pitch was not so great, there had probably been a large tent there for a long time and the ground was no longer green but earth. Nevertheless, the most beautiful campsite we have ever visited (we have been camping for 25 years), always happy to return and highly recommended.Automatiškai išversta.
