- Chris A.July 2021Teigiami- shallow bay of Lake Vänern well suited for children - Variety of activities for childrenNeigiami- Quite expensive, you have to pay extra for each kick - relatively loud due to its size - The number of sanitary facilities is too limitedLarge CP on a large lakeWell located in itself, the site reflects what tourist hotspots are all about.
There is a wide range of activities for children and, in addition to the small outdoor pool with slide, the really beautifully situated, very shallow bay of Lake Vänern is an attraction.
However, due to its size and the associated... crowds, the site is relatively noisy. Some people are not considerate in the crowd - but that's not the fault of the campsite operator!
If you can cope with this, you will find a very suitable campsite here.Automatiškai išversta. - Ulrich M.June 2019TeigiamiHeated swimming poolNeigiamiNoneBeautiful place with a great outdoor poolFriendly welcome, good pitches. - Harald K.August 2015TeigiamiOnline booking simple and uncomplicated Very beautifully situated site Large pitches Inexpensive 24h accessible with vehicle with barrier cardNeigiamiVery unfriendly staff Too few toilets and showers All activities cost extra Store not a good selectionA little more expectedWe stayed at the campsite from 11-21.08.15 as a family of 6. Since you look forward to your vacation all year round and are happy to finally arrive after 1800 km, it is not exactly pleasant to be greeted by an employee who obviously seems to be annoyed by his work, i.e. no trace of friendliness. the... place itself is beautifully situated on Lake Vänern, which gives you the impression that you are by the sea, simply beautiful. After exploring the site, we realized that all activities such as mini-golf, kettcar driving and pool all cost extra.the mini-golf course is really nicely laid out, but costs €20 for 2 adults and 4 children. The pitches are large and the vehicles are parked on a gravelled area, the awning on the grass.I can't confirm what the previous writers described about the quietness or restlessness on the site, the site was quiet all day, or almost eerily quiet from 7 pm onwards, but perhaps this is also due to the time of the season. What I can confirm in any case is that there are not enough toilets and showers on the pitch. I can't accept that they weren't clean, as they were constantly cleaned, but there are always people who behave like animals. The camping store has a smaller selection of groceries, but it is better to shop in Mellerud in terms of price. It should also be considered to renovate the store, as well as in the sanitary facilities various hand dryers, which either smell badly of mold, or simply do not work at all. The restaurant was only open on 2 days in the low season, punctuality at the end of the day is very important here, because exactly at 8 pm nothing works at the reception. You can buy viewing cards at reception, but these are older, as the pictures on them do not correspond to the current pitch. The campsite itself is very clean and also handicapped accessible. If you are looking for a vacation in nature, this is the right place. If you have children, there is the possibility to go to the elk park about 50 km away, which is a great experience, and you can also buy great souvenirs there, of which there are unfortunately not too many on the campsite. 1.60 € we had to pay extra at check-out, with credit card!!! but at the same time we got vouchers worth 25 €, I don't have to and don't want to understand that, but never mind. What disappointed me the most on departure was at checkout, the employee only said bye and nothing else. He wasn't interested in our well-being, he didn't wish us a safe journey home etc. He was just visibly annoyed by his work again. It couldn't have been a language barrier, the workers there speak perfect English and a little German. My CONCLUSION: Vita Sandar is a really beautifully situated campsite, and I would love to visit it again, but a lot would have to change there to be able to say that it would be my favorite, maybe I'll try again in a few years, but as my headline says: I expected a little more. The campsite in general is not bad, but there is room for improvement. At the moment, I personally would only recommend the campsite with mixed feelings.Automatiškai išversta.
- H.-G. Z.July 2015Teigiamifree disposal.NeigiamiSanitary facilities, high price for little performance. Not so greatIn 3 weeks of vacation in Sweden, this place was not as great as the advertising made us expect. Sanitary facilities were not really clean and too small for the size of the site. The selection of stores was ok, as was the swimming pool. There is a sports field next to the campsite. The cost for one night on the camping pitch was 34 euros. We really wanted to go to this site because we knew it from before, but we were very disappointed.Automatiškai išversta.
- Corinna E.July 2015Never againAt 2.24 a.m., there was still noise and bawling and "singing" from drunks outside their hut. A good night's sleep and mutual consideration is a foreign concept hereAutomatiškai išversta.
- Thomas W.July 2013Very nice location on the lake, very large campsite with a lot of Swedes (most likely permanent campers) who really start drinking (alcohol) in the afternoon, unfortunately the sanitary facilities are too few for such a large campsite (for showering best between 3-7 clock then is guaranteed something... free), toilets not really clean (is always a lot of paper on the floor), of leisure activities is offered very much (eg.(e.g. mini golf, rowing boat rental, playgrounds, pool - costs extra), had a karaoke show during the time we were there, helicopter tour (approx. 7-10 min-250SEK), good excursion possibilities (e.g. elk parks, aqueduct in Haverud), very nice big kitchen where you can cook and also sit to eat, for 3-4 days very nice in the long run annoying because it is very loud, unfortunately it is not allowed to put up a tent next to a motorhome (there was still enough space) naja our boys 12+ 13 years liked it that is important to usAutomatiškai išversta.
- Kerstin U.July 2012A beautiful place in itself. Unfortunately, we only met one German family during our entire vacation (10 days), who fortunately had children the same age as ours. You mainly meet Swedes and Norwegians here, who unfortunately, to our annoyance, mostly only come there to party and drink. Unfortunately... true. We even had uninvited visitors at night. So if you're looking for peace and quiet, you've come to the wrong place! The beach is okay, the view of the lake makes up for almost everything. It's great. The store is hardly worth mentioning. The sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and well, the fact that there are just 5 showers for the women takes some getting used to and requires a lot of patience, and we didn't know that it costs extra from other 4-star campsites. Unfortunately, the guests were not so concerned about cleanliness and tidiness. even our youngest was allowed to learn. The baby room was a small room with a shelf and large washbasin, no comparison to the other facilities. The staff was friendly and helpful. For a vacation o.k, but again will not go there.Automatiškai išversta.
