Such places are unacceptable, you shouldn't have to pay money for them! How or where are you supposed to eat if the lounge is also tiny? Dry free pitches were kept free for campers who were EVENTUALLY still arriving, despite the threat of a thunderstorm. That's what I call "hospitality"!With tent: BETTER NOT!!!Half of the tents are standing in the wet when it has rained. Alternatively, we were offered a sloping edge piece. The free dry pitches were kept free for any campers who might still arrive, despite the threat of a thunderstorm. And where are the campers supposed to eat if the lounge is so tiny? That is simply unacceptable, and
no money should be charged for this! There are very few sanitary facilities for full operation and, according to the lady at reception, the price per shower was raised to €1.00 in order to reduce guests' shower times.
The washing-up area is also very small and very, very cramped, which is suboptimal, especially in times of coronavirus.

Of course, every business is happy to have lots of customers, but you can also overbook a space. This is what happened during our stay. But then 2 WCs and 2 shower cubicles are simply not enough. There was no peace and quiet,... but that is also the responsibility of the campers. Unfortunately, not a single lamp was lit on the pitch, which made going to the toilet at night an experience. In addition to hiking, there were a few Lower Austria Card excursion destinations on the program. The children could play in the Oisbach stream. A small playground rounded off the offer. The operators are very nice and helpful. We... were able to choose our pitch. Great importance is attached to waste separation. The baker comes to the site every morning at around 0730 :-). The higher main road can be heard quite well everywhere. Unfortunately, most of the pitches are occupied by permanent campers, there are almost no pitches for day guests that are quiet and far enough away from the main road. In the meantime, old appliances and the entire sink have been replaced, as there was indeed an unpleasant smell coming from there. The local baker brings fresh pastries in the morning. A hotel restaurant is just a few steps away, and you should definitely visit the wonderful pizzeria in the village - Chez Pierre. There is a recreation room if the weather is bad... and the camper van is too small, and the sanitary facilities are very clean. There are some restaurants in the town. Camp is quite small with friendly atmosphere. There is also place for children and place where you can hide (and play some games) when weather is not good. The site is beautifully maintained and the sanitary facilities are meticulously cleaned. There is everything you need, such as electricity, water points, a fridge, washing machine and playground. The river is not necessarily suitable for splashing... around, but it is a great place to cool off. Dogs who like to swim will also get their money's worth directly at the campsite. The only downsides are the lack of shade and the road on the other bank of the river, which can be heard very loudly, especially in the early hours of the morning. We really love the small log cabin and the shady tent locations. The stream behind the camp site is cold, but great for hot sunny days. Lunzer see is only 1k away and there are a few places to eat out and a grocery store that is very close. The facilities are very clean. Einer unserer Favoriten !
