Sanitary facilities are available, very simple and unpretentious. The price for so much nature and simplicity is really sporty....45 euros in the low season - hats off!Nice, but overratedUnique, chaotic and yet completely overrated. The location is great, somewhere in the middle of nowhere... pure nature. No XXL motorhomes visible, a dream.
Nice and well-kept campers, definitely a positive thing.
The only thing I have a problem with is the price, there's something wrong! 45Euro in the fall is sporty.

I've been doing it for 30 years. I haven't experienced anything like Camping Regenbogen Prerow for a long time. I've been to campsites all over Europe and have never been so disappointed. The sanitary facilities are far too few and very dirty and unkempt. In general,... the whole site looks old and unkempt. The staff are also not friendly. We have also never paid so much for a pitch. I have to praise the owners of the Italian restaurant on site; unlike other places in town, we felt welcome there. And the pizza and bruschetta were great.NeigiamiOverall, everything at the campsite looked a bit desolate; like "not loved". Even though we left at the start of the main season, it felt like the tents for children's entertainment and nearby huts hadn't even been cleaned and tidied up this year. The legionella bacteria in the wash houses made us a bit 'nervous' despite the information sheets.Light and shadowI don't know if it's being part of an AG that gives the impression that hardly anyone on site feels responsible for the site. Yes, the age of the facilities is one thing - but even unused structures should look clean and well-kept.

Completely overloaded reception, confused actions and no attention to problems ...Prof. Dr.The service was grotty bad, and that's flattering: the booked seat was taken and then put somewhere else. Extension and "customer orientation" were absolutely foreign words. I would have loved to meet up with my children, who were scattered all over the world - but having someone else stay overnight... on the pitch was not an option. An extension was also not possible, on the contrary, I was insulted because I had a request at all.
The highlight, however, was the groundsman driving a tractor, who made it clear who was "in charge here".
I've been meeting up with my children in Prerow for 15 years ...
This year was the last time.
There are many good, customer-oriented campsites on the Baltic Sea!
This one is no longer recommendable ... especially for the price, you can expect a little customer orientation.

Simple, defective camping furniture, bed system without climbing aid not usable for the older, I think even for the younger generation, MWW with shower, from an approx. 10-liter water tank for the entire WW, continuous running pre-programmed, even without showering in the WW, expected more for the money, final cleaning almost 70 € and had to dispose of almost everything myselfRatingI've been using the campsite for many years, but I think the overall impression was better 10 years ago.
There was a mini disco for the children, a small stage on the sandbank (which has been rationalized away) invited you to linger, unfortunately my impression was not so positive. The only compensation... was the location.
Of course, the smell of diesel from the equipment used to build the marina, 3 cranes, an excavator and 2 cutters taking stones from the seabed to build the pier for the marina, was not conducive. I wasn't fully aware of it. After the initial difficulties & later support from the campsite...we were still able to enjoy our vacation. A uniquely beautiful campsite....right on the dune/sea & lots of forest. 🐾Cooper was... totally happy that the sea was practically on our doorstep.
The trip from Switzerland was worth it.
In general; the island is a dream, this is the 7th time I've visited the island. This time with my own caravan.

The rented mobile home in the dunes was also really fantastic. Charlotte from the children's entertainment team is also a real asset to the camp. Really great! Super ambience everywhere. Everything you need was... there.
The only thing that really took a lot of energy out of us was the journey from the parking lot to the motorhome. We were two moms with three small children and were equipped accordingly. Pulling the handcarts in the sand to the motorhome is simply impossible, even with great effort. In addition, the paths from the motorhome to the waste water funnel are also rather tedious when it has to be emptied (motorhome-related).
Otherwise everything was tip-top. We will be back!Automatiškai išversta. - Mia W.September 2022TeigiamiVery scenic if you like natureNeigiamiPrice-performance ratioUnique landscape, campsite okThe overall impression of recent years is that the campsite lives exclusively from its charming dune landscape and thus with its uniqueness. The grounds, which were maintained in the early 2000s, are becoming increasingly run-down. Which is a great pity. You get the feeling that it is just being "taken... out" and nothing or only minimal investment is being made. This is particularly noticeable in the toilet facilities, where a door often doesn't close or a tap is faulty.
The gastronomy is inadequate as far as the offer is concerned, the price is accordingly very high. The facilities, mainly in the center of the campsite, are very old and uncomfortable. As I said, we know it differently and think it's a shame.
The staff are hard-working and helpful.
