Well understood in the edge area. We are also there from time to time during the day and will probably think about it in the future. We are on a campsite here... the staff could also be instructed to direct bathers to the peripheral area, everyone understands, but not like that? - Uwe M.August 2017Teigiami+ Super clean and well-kept sanitary facilities + Clean site and good pitches + Nice and friendly staffNeigiami- Disposal of chemical waste outside the campsiteGreat well-kept placeAlthough we were only passing through for one night with our caravan on the site, we were very impressed. The site is very well maintained and clean. We were allocated a pitch and someone came straight away to connect the electricity. The pitches are gravelled (could perhaps cause problems with an awning... with the pegs?!) and marked with "boundary stones". Some areas are fenced off with flat hedges, but you won't find any shade. There is direct access to the banks of the Rhine from the pitch, so it was ideal for walking our dogs. There is also a jetty here where you can take a boat trip. The Rhine Falls are about 40 minutes away. The sanitary facilities are absolutely top!!! Clean, well-maintained and look as if they have just been refurbished. However, an extra €1 for 4 minutes is charged for showering. The restaurant is also very good. Due to the fact that there is a motorhome park opposite the campsite, the disposal of the chemical toilet is also outside the campsite, which I don't think is ideal if you have to walk all the way outside with your container. A second disposal point inside the campsite would be desirable here. It is very quiet.Automatiškai išversta.
- Stephan F.July 2017Teigiami./.NeigiamiUnreliability, lack of critical facultiesGroup travel by bike not desiredA confirmed booking for our cycling tour group in the associated hostel in July 2017 (adults and pupils 15 people) was withdrawn on arrival. The alternative accommodation offered was not suitable for the mixed group of students. Due to the discussion about this, the confirmed reservation in the associated restaurant for dinner was also withdrawn! Caution: Hospitality looks different!Automatiškai išversta.
- Urs und Madeleine T.September 2016TeigiamiVery nice location. Clean and well-kept facility. Recommendable restaurant.NeigiamiSmall sanitary building with limited space.Nice campsite in a good locationClean and well-kept CP. Our pitch was right on the Rhine. Nice atmosphere at sunset. - Lisa F.July 2016Teigiami- Directly on many cycle paths - close to the Swiss border - very friendly staff with good serviceNeigiami- Shower coins - Shopping facilities only approx. 1 km awayPerfect location directly on the Rhine! We were here for a short stay of 5 nights. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The site is well maintained and beautifully laid out. The pitches are well paved. Although we were in the second row, we had a view of the Rhine. We were very happy with everything, but the pitches on the other side were... very narrow. Here they were all very close together. Overall, we were impressed with the pitch, although we never wanted to go to a pitch with shower coins. It's a good thing we only saw it here after booking. :)Automatiškai išversta.
- Roland R.July 2015TeigiamiGood restaurant. Many shopping opportunities in Waldshut Quiet at night.NeigiamiWith full occupancy, too few toilets and showers.Nice placeWe were there for the weekend and it was very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The size of the pitch is sufficient for a normal WW. Swimming in the Rhine possible, recommended for good swimmers. No official exit from the water but there are several possibilities on the bank. Playground for... children available. Good restaurant, also frequented by non-camping guests - a good sign. Bread roll service and picture newspaper available. We liked it there.Automatiškai išversta.
- reiner p.September 2014TeigiamiNoneNeigiamiOwnerVery unfriendly ownerAfter 4 years of visiting the restaurant, we received a house ban. The reason was that we were not happy with the food, so we asked ourselves? anyone who can't take criticism is not suitable as an owner. price performance very poor !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A scoop of ice cream €1.60 is a joke and the owner is rude.Automatiškai išversta.
- Hubert K.June 2014NeigiamiNo offer, pitches sometimes much too small for longer stays.Once is enoughDue to a number of circumstances, we decided to stay at Rheincamping in Waldshut, as the campsite's website looked pretty good. So, as a precaution, because it was partly the Whitsun vacations, we reserved a stay from 10.06. to 17.06.2014 by e-mail, but for whatever reason it was called "Reservation".... Departure on 09.06. at approx. 16.30 hrs. The highway was absolutely free, probably due to the holiday, and the weather was optimal. Shortly before Waldshut, must have been an intuition, we stopped at a supermarket to stock up on food and drinks. ATTENTION !!!! Make sure you get everything you need for your stay beforehand, otherwise you'll run out. We arrived at the Rheincamping in Waldshut at around 3 p.m., it had become really warm (approx. 35 degrees). The friendliness of the registration desk could be improved, but maybe it was just a bad day. There is no free choice of pitch at the Rheincamping. We were allocated pitch 20 (the one next to the new pitch 21) although some bigger and better ones were still free a few days later. Pitch 20 has a considerable 40 square meters +, pitch 21, to the right of it, the last in the row, was slightly larger than a disabled parking space at a supermarket. The distance between our awning and the neighbor's Reimo was about 70 cm, so the view was either of the permanent campers, the neighbor's Reimo or the hedge towards the Rhine. You couldn't see the Rhine from there when you were sitting down, and you could only get a rudimentary view when you were standing up, as there were high bushes on the bank in front of the pitch. We've never stood so close together on a campsite before; you can accept this for an overnight stay on a pitch under certain circumstances, but it's impossible for a campsite and a longer stay. The san. The sanitary facilities were fine and very clean, but whether they are sufficient for full occupancy with the permanent campers, tent meadow and the motorhome pitch is probably questionable. 50 cents for 3 minutes is not too long but must be enough. However, it should be free of charge on a 4-star site. And there shouldn't be any shower curtains these days. After the campsite advertising, you are advised at reception about all possible activities. Asking for brochures etc. resulted in the somewhat curt advice " two doors down, at least a hundred of them. The bread roll order works via a bag with a name which has to be put back in the letterbox every day, otherwise there will be none the next day. However, given the quality, we were happy to do without them the next day. If you feel like it and are fit enough, take a morning walk to the old town and buy some really tasty bread from the bakery. !!! ATTENTION !!! There are a few supermarkets on the way to the campsite, make sure you stock up on provisions and drinks there, there is absolutely nothing on the campsite apart from bread rolls, the town directly by the campsite doesn't really offer anything, the nearest shopping facilities are about 2 km away, which should be a bit difficult with bottles of mineral water or fresh produce. But there is the offer to call a cab from the reception, not bad, shopping by cab, you probably still have a few euros too much. The campsite borders directly on an industrial area to the right, where there is a Greek restaurant with a beer garden and a pub called "Zum Fässle". We didn't try either of them, as the industrial area was a bit too idyllic for us. There is an outdoor pool and a mini golf course with a kiosk nearby (more on this in the report), but that's about it. The old town is about 2 km away (the figure of 1 km and 15 minutes is not correct) and is just as beautiful as an old town is, without necessarily sweeping you off your feet. There is also an Edeka and Penny a little further away. There is a pedestrian zone with a few stores, cafés and restaurants, but you have to pay for the Rhine, sometimes quite a lot, and on Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a market with good local produce. On Sundays, however, the pedestrian zone makes a rather sleepy impression. Two ice cream parlors and a coffee shop were open or opening around noon, but the butcher's and bakery were closed. The restaurant "Rheinperle" has, for a CP, quite hefty prices for drinks and food, for example for lunch, 1/2 chicken, fries, salad for 12.50 euros. Unfortunately we didn't get a 1/2 chicken on another day, but otherwise the portions are decent and the staff are very friendly. It may be deceptive, but the portions "out of house" seemed to be a little smaller than those in the restaurant. A good alternative is the kiosk at the mini golf course. Friendly owner, small menu, good portions and good, reasonably priced food (currywurst, chips and 0.5 l beer for 7.80 euros). Absolutely recommendable. There is a landing stage for the passenger boat at the campsite and the old town, but there is no shuttle service. WLAN costs 12.50 euros for 5 days but there was not the slightest reception on the pitch, even if you sit on the street. Answer to complaint "why don't you sit further forward". The CP is "internally" quite quiet, but is located in a flight path in which the planes make a loop over Waldshut every few minutes to then fly to Zurich, i.e. sometimes so low that you can easily recognize the emblems of the airlines. If you are interested, take a look at http://radar.zhaw.ch/radar.html Air Traffik Flugradar Zürich , Waldshut, a site created by Swiss students. It will also not be everyone's cup of tea to constantly look at the cooling tower steam clouds of the nuclear power plant on the Swiss side. About 1 km in the direction of the old town you can see it. A location so close to the border and then the many airplanes flying over, well. So much for (excerpt from CP brochure)..............erleben Sie die Ruhe...........with a view of Switzerland. A shopping facility is definitely missing on the CP, it doesn't have to be a supermarket, but you could easily sacrifice one or two of the narrow pitches for a "camper kiosk" with a few beer table sets. It would definitely be an enrichment. Also, three pitches should be turned into two, it is charged by pitch/day, whether large, small or not at all, otherwise you are probably better and cheaper on the pitch in front of the CP. The disposal for chemical toilets is one of the most primitive that can be offered, the disposal station on the pitch opposite looks better. The site operators also managed to give the restaurant a day off on 16.06.14, the day of the first World Cup game of the German team, simply impossible, something could or should have been organized. The house brochure advises not to leave any leftover food or shoes outside at night, as these attract young foxes. Where do they come from? Swimming across the Rhine, from the industrial area or directly from the village? And why only young foxes? In the evening, with a bit of luck, you can spot another species on the banks of the Rhine, but they don't look like young foxes at all. (a rogue, who thinks evil !!) ****************************************************************************** Finally: ACSI is not recognized ("we do not deal with ACSI") Friendliness = daily form. No free choice of pitch. WLAN expensive (€12.50 for 5 days) and not available everywhere. Some pitches much too small for longer stays. San. Facilities in order, showers cost extra, shower curtains should not be more. The place offers, except the restaurant, nothing. Shopping facilities are missing. Plugging in the Euro plug costs 1 €, each kW/h costs 0.70 €. View of the Rhine, at least when seated, not from all pitches.Automatiškai išversta.
