We were there during the trade fair (Caravan Salon) and felt very comfortable. Relaxed atmosphere on the pitch after a stressful day at the fair. We will definitely be back, even if it's not the trade fair :)

You can walk your dog directly across wide meadows to the beach or you can walk your dog in a wide field.

There are various pitches, some with electricity and water.
A daily bread roll service is also offered.
There is a small beach bar with Spanish flair on the site. There is something for every taste here. A simple menu (online only), cocktails, beers and... various wines are available. Unfortunately, the beach bar was only open until 20:00.
A waste water disposal facility is located at the entrance to the campsite.
Very simple but clean sanitary containers are located in the middle of the campsite. These can be reached via several steps. There is also a washing-up area.
A small kitchen is available for campers.
The ferry to Kaiserswerth is right next door and runs until 8.00 pm.
Beautiful cycle paths to Düsseldorf and Kaiserswerth are close to the site.
Very nice service, especially from Rainer Breitbach, including a welcome and farewell gift. We were accompanied to the pitch on arrival. Minor problems with the electricity were resolved immediately.
We would book the site again for short stays, e.g. for the caravan fair.

The staff are also nice and happy to respond to your wishes. The arrival took quite a long time despite the online reservation, why do you have to go through everything you did online again on arrival? You can eat on the pitch, there is a bread roll service - everything is great. We liked it, it's the 2nd time we've been there.NeigiamiSanitary building, scullery drains full of leftover food,very nice place with a direct view of the Rhine and KaiserswerthWhat we also didn't like is that we wanted to leave later on the day of departure and then had to pay 15 €, which we personally found quite expensive, and we also noticed that the campsite was very empty on that Sunday. It was departure... day anyway, which could have been solved differently and we also know this differently from other campsites, we decided that the price-performance ratio was not right at all, but that's just our opinion. The first time was two years ago for 3 weeks and since it was so nice we have been here again for 3 weeks. When we checked in, our dog remembered that the campsite operators had given him a welcome treat two years ago,... so he was keen to join us at the registration desk. And of course he got another nicely wrapped treat. We can't understand the bad reviews at all, as this campsite is the most beautiful we know and we have been to many campsites in our 23 years as campers and we only book at campsites with good reviews. Our camping neighbors are also all positive about this site and all make a very relaxed and satisfied impression. If you want to relax, you can definitely do so on this beautiful site. It is incredibly cozy to hear the "chugging" of passing ships in the background. In addition to relaxing, you can also go on many bike tours in this area, either just in the countryside or to one of the nearby towns. The area is also beautiful for hiking or walking. Rheincamping Meerbusch can not only offer short vacations, but also "real vacations"!!! Unfortunately, this one also comes to an end after 2 weeks. We could have done so much more. You have to compromise on comfort - sanitary facilities, registration, bar in containers, as everything has to be... dismantled for the winter and the site is in an area at risk of flooding. Therefore very basic sanitary facilities - but really clean. Had party neighbors, but they turned it down at 10pm. So it was ok.Automatiškai išversta.

What did we experience: Arrival 13:07. As we were "new" to this campsite and saw that reception was still open, we politely asked if it... was ok to wait in front of the barrier. The answer: Yes, but although we had an appointment we would check them in. Wow, that's what I call real service. There was a lot going on at the campsite due to the trade fair and we met some great campers. I also hope for the future that campsite operators don't put up with everything from a certain group of campers. We'll be back next year. An operator could still be spotted and when we told him 1:03 pm he let us in after all (comment: Aldi doesn't do that). In addition, we were told that they currently only do not make 1 overnight stay and it must be at least 2 nights, so we... drove after him in the square, since you get the parking space assigned on this CC arrived at such a place we were told that one is still free directly on the Rhine a parking space but only for at least 3 nights is assigned. We didn't want to and couldn't make a quick decision and so it was suggested that we think about it and make it clear after the lunch break. That's what we did, but not that we wanted to stay but that we wanted to drive on - the gate was opened and when I said thank you very much and see you next time, I got the answer "There won't be a next time".

As you have already been guests at our campsite several times, you should be familiar with the

closed and you went in search of a member of staff. Note: In
these times, when almost all campsites are reaching their capacity limits,
we recommend all our guests to request a pitch in advance or to reserve one.

He informed you that our site was very full and that only a few pitches were still available.
Including a booking gap (Fri-Mon) of one of our first row business pitches -
with a view of the Rhine. However, they only wanted to stay for two days and asked for
time to think about it. They wanted to inform us of their decision after lunch. As it was very
hot that day, we made an exception and you were able to go to the campsite even though it was lunch break.

a free pitch and supplied themselves with electricity. After their 'short stay' they drove
then drove in front of the barrier, not to inform us of their decision to choose a pitch
but because you wanted to drive away again on the grounds that it was too crowded!

The staff are super friendly and helpful. The beach bar is very cozy, there are also snacks to eat, breakfast is also taken care of, there are bread rolls, for guests with dogs the place is a paradise, they even get... a little welcome gift 🎁 you can go for a walk without end, the dogs can even cool off a little in the Rhine. Opposite theCP is the small town of Kaiserswerth, which can be easily reached by ferry. Cyclists also get their money's worth, it's a wonderful place to cycle.

The layout on the long narrow square is very well designed. Despite the trade fair,... everything was very relaxed and super clean thanks to the friendly hosts.
