We had a pitch right by the lake and were able to watch various birds. The pitch was well leveled, the sanitary facilities were first class and always clean.
We had to leave a day early and despite booking conditions to the contrary, we were refunded the last day without comment.

The rest of the staff are also extremely friendly and the cleanliness, especially in the sanitary facilities, leaves nothing to be desiredNeigiamiIn the adjoining restaurant we ordered a Neubäuer leckerli, which should consist of pork fillet skewer with spaetzle and cream sauce... Unfortunately, a piece of the fillet was on the skewer, the rest of the pork loin (I dare to judge this, as I am a butcher) complained to the waitress, who was visibly uncomfortable and wanted to pass on the request and the kitchen... Otherwise very tasty and plentiful food on the plate at a moderate priceSpent a great weekend at the campsiteWe were there this weekend on the spur of the moment... received a super nice welcome... got a great pitch even without a reservation. Staff friendly and competent ... the operator is very friendly and tries to please everyone .... Good infrastructure, large pitches, water/electricity directly on site, new sanitary blocks, good catering on site, even in the 3rd row you are very close to the lake. The campsite is very well maintained and has charm. The operator is still putting money into... it and investing in the infrastructure. We had a great Easter vacation and can recommend the site at any time. 5 stars from us for cleanliness, friendliness and the wonderful location on Neubäuer See. The modern sanitary facilities and the small sunbathing lawn offer something for families and couples.
Older children will find the trampoline... particularly inviting. Even if the lake grass is a little irritating when swimming for the first time, the warm water temperature is pleasant in summer. You stand on loosely parceled areas on fine gravel. Unsuitable for tents. A large part of the site is in the hands of permanent campers. WLAN works well.
The restaurant is open until 8pm... and the food is ok. The prices are the same. The service is very friendly.
The small beach is nicely laid out. The lake is ideal for SUP, not so much for swimming.
The sanitary facilities are nicely furnished, adequate, modern and clean.
There is a small store in the village, but nothing else.
It's easy to cycle around the area, the mountains don't get in the way.

The area is ideal for cycling tours (we ourselves ride MTB 👌🏼), walks and jogging.
The Bavarian Forest is simply always worth a visit.
The campsite itself is great. The sanitary facilities are of the highest standard.
The food at the Seewirt is fantastic!
And the lake,... although very small, is still very beautiful. Some of the pitches are right on the shore, but you can also regularly enjoy perfect sunsets from the second row.
The campsite isn't too big, so it's very informal and everyone helps everyone else.

Unfortunately only with moderate success. Running the campsite, managing the staff and being in the kitchen every day, that doesn't go well. He may be nice, as we heard from permanent campers, but he didn't have a friendly word for... us. Neither on arrival nor on departure after a 3-week stay. What a shame really. We had booked a comfort pitch in order to have enough space. However, the neighbor is practically at arm's length, which we found annoying.
The sanitary facilities are cleaned excellently by the staff.
The food in the restaurant is recommended and reasonably priced.
The rear part of the lake, where the vacation campers stand, is an imposition. The small mermaid weed is everywhere and the water depth to the middle of the lake is about 1.50 meters. Swimming at the back of the lake is very disgusting. You are forced to go to the beach. The mermaid weed was removed there, with moderate success.

Everything that has been newly built in recent years is very modern and reflects the operator's philosophy of "only the best for the guests".
This also includes the fact that the boss, Mr. Notka, comes to each guest personally at the weekend with the bread roll order... list.
Lake Neubäuer See is ideal for SUP. With its maximum depth of just 2m, it is also ideal for beginners to practice. Cycling and hiking are possible in the surrounding area. If you book a pitch right by the lake, you can watch picture-perfect sunsets in the evening. We were there with a motorhome and felt very comfortable. The pitches and access roads are just big enough, but cleverly laid out, well paved and well maintained. We were really unlucky... with the weather, but despite four days of constant rain we didn't get soaked. This was due to the paved paths and the relatively hard ground. Although it requires good pegs, it also provides good grip and doesn't get muddy easily. The good visibility and easy access to the lake were very pleasant. Fantastically beautiful sunsets and evening atmosphere. The sanitary facilities are very elegant, functional and well maintained. You never have to walk far to get water. Everything is perfectly and professionally organized without it ever getting annoying - really great. You can eat well in the restaurant. Everything is fresh and tasty. Cozy and inviting inside and out, with a view of the lake. All dishes are also available to take away.

It's already very quiet here. The lake was completely empty. It was during the time when the lake was being fished. A unique experience for us. It made my husband especially happy, as many different species of birds make their home here. A few times a day the sea... eagle came to get its food. Fresh fish was then served in the inn. We learned to love this traditional establishment and booked it for Whitsun straight away. We generally love family-run campsites and were therefore very satisfied. We were warmly welcomed. Very uncomplicated in the inn. The new sanitary building is great. So thank you for your hospitality!Automatiškai išversta.
