Beautiful pitch with lake view on almost all pitches. 20 meters from the lake with beach (free with camping card). There is also a water sports rental. Sunny from morning to evening and an extremely beautiful sunset spot at the campsite. Breakfast/lunch and snacks can... be bought directly at the reception café.
The Schafbergbahn cable car is a 5-minute walk away and St. Wolfgang is just 10 minutes away along the beach promenade.

But:
The sanitary facilities with 2 showers and 3 toilets each for men and women are clearly not enough.
You have to buy shower tokens separately - that's from the day before yesterday.
On arrival we were allocated 4 tokens for 2 people and 4 nights,... we could get more later if necessary. They would always get lost. ( Am I in kindergarten?)
There are prohibitions, rules etc. on all the doors, walls and other surfaces. I've never seen anything like it in 40 years of camping.
Unsuitable for dogs: a beautiful large meadow on the site may not be used for playing, the roads around the site are all narrow and sporty, not pleasant. There is also no waste bag dispenser on the site, but they charge €5 per night for the dog - for what?
Unfortunately, the site is not quiet either, at least on the lower pitches. At 6:30 in the morning, the first bus seems to drive through the caravan, followed by many other vehicles.
And at the end you have to pay in cash, cards are not accepted.
Unfortunately, we are stuck in the past here.
It's a shame the site had so much potential.
We won't be back.

Sanitary facilities are very, very clean. To the Schafbergbahn 10 min walk and to the village about 15 min. Everything very close and super accessible.

However, we have to take issue with your sentence:

There is the following offer on our website and here on Camping.Info:
Our discount in the early and late season:
From 1.4. to 30. 5. and 10.9. to end of season.
From a stay of 2 nights 10% discount on pitch and person fee
+ free choice of pitch (subject to availability)
If no other pitch was available during your stay, you will of course not be able to choose another one. That's why it says - subject to availability.
In addition, the offer is only valid in April/May and from September 10th. As it says on the website.
The offer is not valid for the July travel date you specified.
So our information is not wrong - you have misunderstood it.
However, you could have asked at reception on site - instead of complaining in a review. Perhaps a change of pitch would have been possible.
The pitches you mentioned are also located behind the water sports center and not behind a boathouse. They are the same size as the other pitches and are very popular with many guests as they are very shady due to the tall trees.

Had a place in the front row from day 2 after moving house. Great view, but also right on the waterfront. Despite being a dead end, there are lots of spa and hotel guests here. Construction is currently underway on the neighboring property, so some noise from trucks during the... day. It is bearable! To the place itself, as often described so far everything in order, on the place everything quiet and clean. Due to the current situation, not all the staff were available. Boss cleaned 2 times a day herself! Exemplary! Catering was still closed until our departure, drinks and other snacks can be bought on site. There are only 2 showers, but although the site was full in the 2nd week, there were never any queues. So it works like a charm!
The same goes for the 3 toilets.
Direct access (free of charge) to the bathing area at the lake, right next to it a separate access for the 4-legged friends!
W-Lan for 1 device is free, but please don't expect miracles! OK for informative surfing, nothing more. Network coverage on site with D1 and D2 very good.
We will certainly come here again.
More about the surroundings: MTB riders: there are some great trails, but only very few are permitted for cyclists, even wide forest paths are not allowed. Completely over-regulated! Dogs must be kept on a lead almost everywhere and sometimes muzzled.Automatiškai išversta.

The center of St. Wolfgang can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. You can also go on wonderful hikes from the campsite. The Schafberg train station and the boat landing stage are in the immediate vicinity. The private access to the lake and a lido next to it with plenty of space for sunbathing can be used free of charge. The site in general and the sanitary facilities are very clean. We also found the bread roll service for breakfast particularly pleasant.

On arrival we were given a long list of rules. Rules on campsites are completely normal... and good, but what was partly listed there....Showering was only possible with shower tokens, which cost €0.80 for 5 minutes. There were only 2 showers, so you had to queue (outside). There was also no shelf space in the shower cubicle itself. But there was a nice shower curtain..very hygienic. Cleanliness was okay here and in the toilets. There was a washbasin in the WC (only cold water), which was not big enough for both hands at the same time. Unfortunately, there was no garbage can for dog waste on the campsite and the waste disposal point was closed at 10 pm in accordance with the rules, which is stupid if the dog does its business after 10 pm. It's nice that you describe our location as nice and rate our cleanliness positively.
However, we must refute your untrue comments:
Price for 2 persons + visitor's tax + pitch + dog + 2x showers = 36.40 (normal, rather lower price level in this region).
Our... prices are openly displayed on the Internet. Price information is available on request. So there are plenty of opportunities to check whether the campsite is within your personal price range before you check in.
If you paid 43.00 euros, you had additional consumptions (as far as we know, you had bread service, for example). You have to take that into account.
We have 40 seats, 37 of which have a view of the lake - but these are usually fully booked.
You had a very nice place and probably with a view of the lake. However, if you turn your back to the hedge, you won't be able to see the lake.
The "rule sheet" contains 1/4 page of site rules (quite normal), everything else is information about prices and additional offers. The fact that you have not read the leaflet can be seen from your untrue claims in the evaluation.
Shelves and hooks are available in every shower, the shower curtain (2 meters away from the shower) is only intended as additional protection for the towel or clothes hung up - in addition to the normal shower door.
There is a dog bag station + waste bin (open 24 hours a day) right by the campsite exit.
The dog beach is much appreciated and gladly accepted by our guests with dogs.
It is a larger, fenced, flat area with an additional wooden terrace and seating for "Herrlis".
Dogs are being banned from more and more places or are not allowed in the water. Our dog bathing beach is therefore a free additional offer that cannot be taken for granted.

However, we would like to comment/clarify your points of criticism:
Our reception/kiosk/terrace café are open every day (!) from 8 am to 7 pm.
The opening hours are written in large letters at the... entrance and every guest is informed of them again on arrival.
The cleanliness of our sanitary facilities and the campsite in general is always highly praised by our guests (as you can also read in the reviews on this portal and on other portals - Google, camperconatct).
The sanitary facilities are cleaned and disinfected three times a day.
However, if some guests (but really only a few) do not leave the toilets or showers clean at night, it is not our fault. The first cleaning takes place at 5.30 in the morning at the latest.
We don't know what we could redesign in our washing-up area and reception (the reception was completely redesigned two years ago), but tastes differ.
