- Hubert P.July 2018TeigiamiIdeal for spa camping.ThermencampingCp directly adjacent to the spa area, which is modern but the infrastructure of the campsite is a little nostalgic. Restaurants in the immediate vicinity are very good and reasonably priced.Automatiškai išversta.
- Ulrich F.October 2015TeigiamiCampsite with direct access to the thermal bathsNeigiamiSanitary area completely outdated. It is (unfortunately) not getting any better.Solaris, a campsite I have loved for 30 years. The site has not (yet) made the transition to the modern age. The directly adjacent thermal spa has. But maybe that's what makes it so special. The site is often very full, especially in spring and fall. These are (mostly) campers who have been coming for... years and book accordingly. Spontaneously arriving campers are often only left with the peripheral area. Nevertheless, if you want to wear a bathrobe in the bathroom, this is the place for you. The sanitary area looks like it did 20 years ago - and is clearly not suitable for 2014. Better to shower and care for yourself in the thermal baths. Shopping: all the big discount stores in town. Small stores within walking distance. Very nice: by bike (3km) to Slovakia. Very beautiful sister town "Komarno" with a special flair. Postscript: If the pitch on "Solaris" is - in fact - too narrow for you, the adjacent "Thermalcamping" pitch is more spacious. I.e. walk 100 m more. I experienced the site again in April 2015 (direct) and October 2015 (indirect). The dominance of the "permanent campers" unfortunately continues. It is virtually impossible to book on the pitch at Easter, for example. Not even, on request, in the next few years. Sobered up, you have to ask yourself: Do I want to be so cramped? The alternative - thermal camping.Automatiškai išversta.
- Szabolcs L.May 2014At the end of May 2014 we were with our family with 3 children, including a 20 month old. Everything is very fair, the German "neighbours" really are.)Automatiškai išversta.
- Herbert K.April 2014TeigiamiProximity to the thermal bathsNeigiamiSmall pitches and no water connection on the pitch, also no waste water connections. The thermal baths are ok, as is the indoor swimming pool, but schools and clubs come to train there around the clock. The water contains a lot of sulphur and lime, so your skin has to be able to cope with it. The campsite is clean and right next to the thermal baths, which means you can get in at 6am.... But the pitches are too small at 60m², as are the sanitary buildings. There are enough electricity connections but only two water points. The price is too high compared to other new western-style campsites, such as Papa, which costs the same and has 4 stars. Nevertheless, we are coming here for the 16th time because it is simply comfortable here and you can drive without the highway.Automatiškai išversta.
- Árpád L.September 2013We spent a week at the campsite. On the very first day we had a nasty surprise. The reception told us that the socket was "EU standard" and then told us where to get a converter, because they didn't have one. It being a Sunday, the shop in question could not provide one either. With a bit of fiddling,... and not exactly by the book, we managed to get electricity temporarily and avoid spoiling the food in the fridge. On Monday we got a converter. The only odd thing was that caravans and vans from 'EU' countries (Germany, the Netherlands, Austria) also had to use converters, because - apparently - they do not know the 'EU' standard there either. We also regret that, on the basis of the price list, we thought that the social block of the campsite was of a higher standard. Apart from that, we had a pleasant stay.Automatiškai išversta.
- Ursula S.July 2013A nicely run place for people who love the Hungarian thermal baths. Cycling on the Danube cycle path. A must-see: Monastor FortressAutomatiškai išversta.
