"Ok for a night in transit - It's ok for a night in transit. The pitches are a bit small, we couldn't have put up an awning (but it wasn't necessary for one night). The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but clean. There is no storage space in the shower cubicle and no room to change. You have to use the central anteroom and leave your things "outside" like in a sports hall (incl. towel). You can pre-order hot meals on the pitch and then pick them up in the evening. The food was good! In the morning there is a bread roll service on pre-order. Unfortunately no choice but 0815 standard rolls. The staff are very nice.

"Totally quiet at the Katschberg tunnel - On Saturdays in mid-September, it was no problem to find a nice pitch here for those passing through. The paths to the pitches are asphalted and quite narrow at the junctions. Unfortunately, there was no full restaurant service due to a lack of staff, which was expressly regretted. It was possible to serve drinks. A small selection of inexpensive, hot food to take away was offered and gladly used. Bread rolls can be ordered the evening before. Heated sanitary facilities in the main building with everything you need. Not luxurious, everything was clean.

"Too good just for passing through. - On our drive home from our vacation in Sardinia, Camping Ramsbacher was strategically located as a stopover. The view of the delicious restaurant and the pool were tempting. Unfortunately, the pool was closed when we arrived, but fortunately the restaurant was open. We received a very friendly welcome and were allocated one of the ample parking spaces. There was plenty of space for our small VW California. Shortly after us, a Norwegian arrived with a huge caravan, which occupied the pitch next to us. We gladly ceded part of our pitch to the friendly people, as otherwise it would have been too cramped for them. It's always the sound that makes the music and the sound, or rather the atmosphere, was extremely pleasant here on the pitch. The sanitary facilities were not the very latest, but perfectly equipped and spotlessly clean. A small drawback with the showers was that you didn't have to undress in the shower cubicles themselves, but in front of them. Not for people with a sense of shame, but fortunately nobody came in while we were changing, so you can disregard that. Unfortunately we didn't see much of the beautiful surroundings apart from an evening walk, but what we did see was really beautiful. The food in the restaurant was the special highlight. So delicious! When we left the following day, I told the owner that we regretted that we had only stayed for one night. Her reply was brilliant: "You'll definitely come back later!" That's probably exactly how it will be. The place is absolutely worth a recommendation!

"Good campsite - Good CP with a somewhat "prickelder" access road, but also feasible for larger vehicles. Well-kept site with very nice operators. Good restaurant.

Our ideal summer and winter campsite is situated between the national parks "Hohe Tauern" and "Nockberge". The calm location with its fantastic panorama of the mountains as well as many opportunities of spending your leisure time will attract you. The …camping ground is easy to reach (A10), nevertheless it is away from traffic. The heated swimming pool has a size of 400qm and is free of charge for our camping guests. Archery, guided botanic tours, mountain climbing, child-care, mountain-biking tours, angling trouts and much more can be experienced free of charge with the programme of the region. In winter a bus (free of charge) takes you to the fantastic skiing area Katschberg, which is only 4km away. The area, which is assured of snow, is, with its modern facilities, Carinthia´s showpiece for winter sports. When you come back tired from skiing enjoy our comfortable restaurant.
