"Actually good, swimming pool unfriendly and dogs shitting..... everywhere - Let's start with the positives: The pitches for caravans / motorhomes are large enough. The toilets / washrooms are easy to reach. The beach is easy to reach by bus and, despite initial skepticism, is not a problem. The beach, where there are no parasols, is not cleaned, but it is not bad in itself. Now to the negatives: there is huge advertising on the homepage about the new slides. They are really great, but unfortunately they are only open for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. You can imagine what the crowds are like then. There really wouldn't be anything going on at the slides if they were open all day (not during the lunch break, of course). The lifeguards are unfriendly to a fault and make use of their whistle all day long. Children really don't even dare to have fun anymore because they are whistled at every little thing. I myself am a strict father and can't stand it when rules are broken, but what goes on in the pool is really pure harassment by bad-tempered lifeguards (there was one woman who was the worst of all). The lifeguards couldn't speak German or English and explained to our children in Italian what was wrong. Even I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Now to the staff of the campsite (also called staff). It all started with the fact that we were 2 families with 2 caravans. He wanted to put us together on a pitch in the middle of the dog area. Sounds strange, but that's how it is. With an annoyed, incomprehensible look from him, we then looked further and found 2 nice pitches. These pitches were far away from the dog areas, but there was still dog poo everywhere on our main road and unfortunately our children had to experience this bitterly. It was a great job cleaning the shoes covered in dog poo. The best thing was that people with dogs were walking between our caravans. There is no doctor on site. You are sent into town to a doctor who only speaks Italian and treats a Petermann fish (stingfish) as a jellyfish. As we couldn't believe this, we then found out for ourselves using Google that it must have been a Petermann fish. The next amazing thing was that the beloved staff came and asked us when we were leaving. Why do they have computers with everything on them? And here it comes and you have to promise not to laugh. All the guests with motorhomes between us had to dismantle and move to other pitches. And do you know why? A group of Dutch travelers came with 15 caravans and mobile homes. And so that the good Dutch people could stand together, the other guests had to move. And here's the kicker: the Dutch didn't do anything together and everyone sat in front of their camper and twiddled their thumbs. So, they didn't have to stand next to each other. There's a lunch break from 1 to 3 p.m., so nothing goes in or out like on any other campsite. But when the Dutch arrive, there's no lunch break. They drove in at 2 p.m. and cheerfully set up. They also had dogs with them and stood in the middle of the non-dog area. On the last evening, 2 Swedes arrived. They took over our friends' pitch straight away and let their dog run up the tree next to our friends' caravan. It was a really unusual smell. Due to the fact that the site is next to a nature reserve, the mosquitoes were very active. Despite wearing long clothes and using mosquito spray, we looked like crumb cakes. We were only sprayed on the main road but not in the parking lanes. Pure waste of spray. Due to the fact that the negatives outweigh the positives, they will never see me again and if anyone asks me, I will say that I wouldn't go there.
