Thank you for your review which we would like to comment on even after such a long time.
It should not be the case that our cleaning staff are not always friendly. But we also employ people in this area. There are ups and downs just like with our guests.
Perhaps understandable in the current... situation with Corona conditions, but of course not right and good.
As far as cleaning times are concerned, it can simply be said that, then as now, they do not always come at the right time for the guest. We strive to keep this reduction in the feel-good factor as low as possible.
In conclusion, once again. Sorry for the possibly inappropriate tone and for the restrictions on your vacation.

The bread rolls were not fully baked. There is a main road to the beach, but you can hardly hear it at night. I liked the all-inclusive billing and the prepayment, so it was possible to leave spontaneously without waiting. You are of course right when you say that there are better places for a vacation on a campsite. However, there is hardly a campsite on our island that is more conveniently located than ours and still offers peace and nature.

The restaurant employee is also responsible for the reception, so there was a short traffic jam at check-in. Nice welcome and free choice of pitches on the small and quiet campsite, which is divided by hedges. The road is a bit narrow and a dead... end, so you are lucky if there is no oncoming traffic when arriving or departing. The sanitary facilities were always clean (3 showers, 1 wash cubicle and 3 WCs in the ladies' area; could be a bit cramped when fully occupied for approx. 40 pitches and 20 tent pitches). The price (early June) for 2 adults with camper van incl. electricity + showers is ok at 24 euros. The nearest beach on the Jasmund Bodden is only 500 m away.Automatiškai išversta.

The location is ideal for excursions as it is in the middle of Rügen, especially for visiting the open-air stage. It took us about 25 minutes by bike on a beautiful cycle path. Pitches are parceled out... and some are even close to the edge of the forest. Sanitary was always well maintained. Lietzow train station and the bus stop are within walking distance of the campsite, so you don't necessarily have to use your own vehicle. The price/performance ratio is very good and the costs are clear thanks to the all-inclusive price. The restaurant... belonging to the campsite also offers food and drinks at fair prices. You can also order bread rolls in advance for breakfast. One drawback, however, is the very early closing time of the kitchen and the early closing time. The pitches are parceled out and separated by hedges, each with its own electricity and drinking water connection. The biggest drawback of the site is the sanitary facilities. They are undersized for the size of the pitch and therefore appear unclean, especially after the morning rush hour. The staff were friendly and helpful, but sometimes had gaps in their knowledge about the type of electricity connection. All in all, a recommendable campsite with no frills. Ideal for exploring the island of Rügen and for excursions to Stralsund or Hiddensee, for example.Automatiškai išversta.

When we registered we were given a price list and we were surprised that a site of this size and infrastructure charges such a price for the high season - this seems to be related to the nearby open-air theater. In the off season... the price is ok. The staff was always friendly towards us. The food in the restaurant is simple but completely ok. However, we would have liked the sanitary facilities to be cleaned more often, as there were long black hairs stuck to the shower partition in the ladies' shower for the entire duration of our stay. In our opinion, there were enough showers and toilets for the size of the pitch. On the whole, we found the place ok for people who want to explore the island, as the location is great.Automatiškai išversta.

It is advisable to make a reservation in any case, even in the low season. The Engel family and the team are friendly and always helpful. The cuisine in the restaurant is excellent. - Elisabeth R.July 2012A very nice small campsite with covered seating, a restaurant and an evening view of the Störtebecker Festival fireworks. Unfortunately, verbal price agreements were not kept, which we found very unfortunate. Due to limited parking facilities, we agreed to a more expensive package deal, a rather patchy... caravan plot for 30.50 EUR. (mother, child, dog, car, tent) the price of which we did not exhaust in terms of persons. On departure, however, we had to pay extra for our dog, which could not be offset against the expenses of an adult as agreed. Principles and packages are important orientation aids, but I would like to see more honesty and flexibility, why is it so difficult to break away from classic mother, father, child packages? The price-performance ratio was simply not ok. I wish you all the best for the future and a pleasant cooperation with your guests.Automatiškai išversta.

The disposal station of the chemical toilet was full to the brim, when asked the operator said it had been forgotten to empty it after... the high season. We could use the toilet for emptying. He would take care of it immediately. Until our departure n. 7 days the station was still not emptied. In the evening no sufficient lighting (defect) on the way to the sanitary building, partly pitch dark.Automatiškai išversta.
Petra S.September 2011I can hardly believe what I read here from strange 'users' .... We felt really comfortable on the pitch. The price was less than €20/night for 2 people + camper van - including the shower in the very clean sanitary facilities. It was very quiet on the pitch (with lots of older couples), which was really... relaxing - even for us younger people! We would have loved to stay longer! The Engel family go out of their way to make sure their guests are happy and always have an open ear, no matter what the issue. The restaurant with the cheerful cook completed the picture! Peter und Sabine K.July 2011- silvie k.July 2011Well, it was our first time at Störtebeker Camp and we were so impressed by the friendliness of the owners and the staff ... especially the cook (her fried potatoes are a hit). The showers and toilets, let's be honest, there are so many (supposedly) fine ladies on the site, but to take a toilet brush... in your hand and remove your own traces, they are too fine. And the same in the showers ... What can the owners or the cleaning staff do if some people can't behave? The price is great, the peace and quiet is wonderful and the playground for the children is also great. The camp is also pet-friendly ... we have 2 dogs and they also felt at home.
