The place is well maintained, the showers, WC are always clean. The new tenants of the economy are very, very nice and clean, they... are very eager to satisfy the guests.
We will certainly come back in September as you can relax and unwind. We will certainly be regular guests for the next few years, God willing.
We have been to many campsites, but this one is the best and most well-kept.

The pitches are very large and level. The toilets for ladies / gentlemen are always clean and the showers are always clean. (there are a lot of toilets and showers for men and women) the place is very well maintained. The bath is only a short distance away you can go with the bathrobe. (We can't understand how some guests only give 2 out of 5 stars, they haven't been anywhere else and should better stay at home. The shopping facilities are not far away and easily accessible on foot. We will recommend this place to others because you can do that without having a guilty conscience. Every morning the... baker comes and offers very tasty things at a good price, on Thursday there is also a butcher who would like to come more often than once a week.
The thermal and adventure pool is included in the price and is really nice, but it should be renovated a bit. There are missing tiles and the slides have been very badly grouted.

All in all, there is nothing to complain about at this campsite. We are simply satisfied and feel very comfortable here. How did you come to mention my name here? Have you ever heard of data protection? But yes, as you can read on some platforms, you don't know how to deal with criticism.... We are not the only ones (if you don't give 4 stars) who should not come back. Don't worry, we won't be back anyway. As we arrived at night, we stayed outside the campsite where there was electricity. The pitches are spacious and separated by hedges. The sanitary building is cleaned from morning to midday, but nothing in the evening. This is when they are used the most. We had the pleasure of having a digger working on the CP until 5pm on Saturday....nix with peace and quiet. The bread service in the morning is very good and great selection. The restaurant also has a good selection and quite good food. Since you pay for the thermal bath with the CP and can also use it, we were not very enthusiastic, sunbathing lawn very dirty and also with some slides and pools there is a risk of injury. On Saturday, August 31, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon and from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., the mini excavator removed the topsoil from an area of 5x5m on plots no. 4, 5 and 18, because interlocking paving stones are being laid for prefabricated houses. The 3 houses will be erected with a truck-mounted crane in the week from 23.09. to 28.09.2019. We have pointed out this possible disturbance on the large information board of the campsite. Guests who feel disturbed are offered to move their mobile home to another parking lot for the time of the possible disturbance. Guests who feel disturbed are offered to move to another pitch further away for the duration of the disturbance. We can do no more. Nobody complained except you. Despite its size, it's super quiet (except around the playground - but even there it's quiet from 23pm). The pitches are really big and well laid out. Simply top! The site is very well maintained, the pitches large and the sanitary building clean and tidy. A few rubber squeegees in the showers would be good so that you can dry them. You can use the WLAN and gas stove free of charge, in the morning... a bakery van comes with delicious baked goods and once a week a butcher with tasty sausage and grilled meat. The staff is friendly, only the operator of the restaurant on site is very unfriendly, we were turned away at 8.15pm with the explanation that it was only open for 5 minutes, but the restaurant is open until 9pm and we only wanted a drink, when we went back at 8.55pm there were still guests in the restaurant, we therefore recommend the restaurant at the thermal baths, very good food and always friendly service. Entry to the spa is included in the price of the campsite, you can go in and out as often as you like. The bath itself is a bit outdated, especially the showers and changing rooms are not very attractive, but you can shower at the campsite. The sauna is unhygienic, everyone sits there in their swimwear and no towels are placed underneath, which was not for us. The town of Papa is very beautiful and a trip to Lake Balaton is definitely worthwhile. What you complained about (outdoor facilities not open in April and that the sauna is a textiel sauna) does not concern the campsite, but the thermal bath. There is an extra rating option on Google for the thermal bath, owner of the town of Papa. The campsite and the spa are two different companies with different owners.
