- Peter H.October 2022TeigiamiClean sanitary facilities, friendly staff and of course the thermal baths.NeigiamiSomewhat outdated campsite. Quite noisy between two railroad lines and a busy road. Sunshine duration quite short in October.Relaxation in the ThermalbdPleasant, albeit somewhat noisy campsite between high mountains, therefore only quite short periods of sunshine in the fall.
Separate section for dog owners, which I think is great!
The pitches are quite small.Automatiškai išversta. - Dominique H.May 2022Teigiamigreat service, super swimming poolNeigiamiSanitary and washing facilities are slightly too small for the number of pitches/guestsgreat stayAfter booking and already on the way to the campsite, we looked at the sometimes "bad" reviews. We drove up to the campsite with mixed feelings. When we arrived it was 6:30 pm and the registration/reception officially closes at 6 pm. We therefore arrived half an hour after reception closed. The ladies... at reception were packing up. She explained everything to us in a very friendly manner. After we had parked our camper on the pitch and wanted to plug in the Storm, the fuse dropped. The nice lady at reception helped us to fix the problem (it was over an hour after reception closed). The prices in the camping store are reasonable from our point of view, the sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but always clean and hot water for showering was always available, the swimming pool is great. The price for the swimming pool is a little more expensive than usual but it is a thermal and fun pool in one. The water temperature was always nice and warm, which is particularly pleasant when it's cooler outside. We hardly noticed the alleged noise from the highway and the train (it was louder when the person next to us was talking). Our conclusion: We have been to countless campsites in Europe. Of course there are more modern ones but also worse ones with higher costs. We think the price-performance ratio is top! We will definitely be back for a few relaxing days in the summer!
PS: With regard to the sometimes incomprehensible bad reviews and our experiences, we have come to the conclusion that "unfortunately there are people who find fault with everything." The best thing ... make your own experiences!Automatiškai išversta. - dora m.July 2021TeigiamiLocation is very niceNeigiamiInfrastructureCamping in BrigerbadWe stayed at the campsite for a week with 2 children, 15 and 7 years old. The campsite was fully booked, from row A-Z.
There are 3 washing machines and 1 dryer available for the whole campsite. A joke!!!
In the kitchen, where you are supposed to do the washing up, there is not a single waste garbage... can, often no hot water, dingy.
The showers/toilets are simply unkempt, outdated, no curtains, no shelves, many doors are broken. Showering with children is simply impossible and very tedious.
"Our" rented caravan was clean, but unkempt, loveless, dry plants all around, broken cupboards, TV not working.
In row E 29, we were the last, daily sewer smell, very unpleasant.
Reception far too small, closes at 5pm, "camping store" too, too small, too little choice, prices extremely exaggerated!!!!
In summary, this campsite is not to be recommended and is in extreme need of renovation!
The thermal bath next to it is nice, but also very expensive and full.
We made daily excursions, and despite everything had a very nice vacation, but we will certainly not come to this campsite again. Too bad, it would be a very nice campsite, you should also invest, not just plug in.Automatiškai išversta. - Florian S.July 2021TeigiamiThe thermal baths next door are very nice.NeigiamiNo check-in hours. Friendly reception, uncomplicated check-in and check-out process. Clean sanitary facilities. Beautiful cycle paths. We would love to come back!Automatiškai išversta.
- Walter J.October 2019TeigiamiThermal baths directly adjacent. Cycle path along the Rhone (or the Rotten). Postbus stops directly in front of the CP.NeigiamiCantonal road and highway audible. Trains pass by on both sides of the CP. Loud freight trains can also be heard throughout the night.Unfriendly and loudVery unfriendly receptionist. When we checked in, she asked us in a commanding tone to move the caravan (which was parked in an area marked with a blue parking lot sign) "immediately*. Tourist pitches are between permanent campers. Location: next to the Rhone, the cantonal road and highway are very audible.... Trains pass to the left and right of the campsite at short intervals, the loud freight trains are particularly disturbing at night. Sanitary facilities are clean. Small store. Bread roll service works. Half of the site is occupied by permanent campers who have a latent hostility towards tourists. (We were reprimanded twice, although we have been staying on a campsite for over 30 years and know how to behave on a campsite). As we know, there are other ways of being friendly in Valais. We will not be staying at this campsite again.Automatiškai išversta.
- Andreas D.June 2019Teigiamithe immediate vicinity of the Brigerbad.NeigiamiFor larger purchases you need a vehicle or the bus.Fabulous vacationThe place is small but nice. We have now enjoyed a wonderful short vacation there 3 times. Everything you need is there and the stores are within easy reach.Automatiškai išversta.
- andrea s.July 2018TeigiamiAlways a free seat without a reservation. Fresh bread rolls every morning. Discounts at the thermal baths.Felt very comfortableYou can choose your pitch on arrival. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is a bread roll service with a large selection, which is ordered the evening before. The campsite is clean and quiet. For the children there are 2 playgrounds with basketball, volleyball, soccer goals and much more. There is an extra space for campers with dogs, so the campsite is pet-free. We felt very comfortable and will certainly come again.Automatiškai išversta.
- Markus M.June 2018TeigiamiLocation Thermal bathNeigiamiThe pitches are located between the pitches of the permanent campers. If that bothers you.Practical spaceBeautifully wooded site with many permanent campers. Functional, clean sanitary facilities. The location by the thermal baths is great. Ideal for bad days before the children get on your nerves. There is a discount for guests of the campsite.Automatiškai išversta.
- Markus W.May 2017TeigiamiLocation, friendliness InfrastructureNeigiamiPrices for the thermal bath / old sanitary facilities and too small washing-up area with (often) cold waterGood space and starting positionThe place is quite ok. The starting point for bike tours and hiking excursions is good. The post bus stops directly in front of the CP. Shopping only possible by car. However, there is a small store and a good bread roll service. The adjoining thermal baths are very nice, but not cheap. After a hot day... out, a quick dip can be expensive! There are also a lot of permanent campers, if that bothers you. The sanitary facilities are not the newest and are also very dirty. There is a need for action here. I was annoyed that we rarely had hot water to do our washing up. This area is far too small and therefore long waiting times and cold water.Automatiškai išversta.
- Harry H.May 2017TeigiamiPractical for visiting the thermal bathsNeigiamiIgnorant, incompetent employees Too expensive.Actually quite ok, but ...The place is fine for a visit to the thermal baths. However..... We chose a pitch that was supposedly reasonably quiet and adjacent to a meadow. This meadow was unmown, looked a bit overgrown and unused. That didn't bother us. We came back from the spa in the evening and we were almost shocked. In the... meantime, this lawn was being mowed and a children's/youth group had set up a tent camp and there was a deafening noise until +/- 10 o'clock. We have NO problem with children, but if the ignorant staff at the entrance had told us that, we could have set up our domicile in another placeAutomatiškai išversta.
- Nicole R.July 2016Overall okay, but very unfriendly receptionOn arrival, you have to choose a pitch before you can register. I found it very unusual that there is no tent pitch, but that you also have to camp with your tent on a plot between the caravans. Unfortunately, there are always freight trains passing by at night, which are very loud. The person at reception... was extremely unfriendly. When we wanted to check out, he was busy with something else and completely ignored us for several minutes instead of at least saying hello. He also spoke very indistinctly and quietly, so that we had to ask each time, and overall made it very clear that he wasn't in the mood. We didn't feel welcome at all. The sanitary facilities are in order and clean, cooking and washing up facilities, washing machine and drinking water are available.Automatiškai išversta.
- Robert H.August 2014TeigiamiLocation, with adjoining thermal bathNeigiamiPrice / performanceAs a base to explore the Valais okIn my opinion, the campsite is somewhat chaotically organized. The registration is very unconventional and you can choose your own pitch between the permanent campers. For us as a family who wanted to explore the Valais a good base, as the bus station is right next door. The services and sanitary facilities... leave something to be desired and are somewhat outdated. The disposal point for toilets and waste water is, so to speak, in the children's playground, which is more than unusual. On this campsite I miss structures from what should, we spent our vacation outside.Automatiškai išversta.
- pierre A.June 2014Beautiful campsiteBeautiful campsite with adjoining swimming pool. No reservation possible: the advantage is that there are almost always pitches available, even in high season.Automatiškai išversta.
- Stefan W.May 2013A site dominated by permanent campers. In between are individual empty pitches for tourists. You can choose your own pitch, although the plots are usually between 2 trees. Infrastructure is always clean, but rather outdated. Highly recommended for a long weekend with a visit to the adjacent thermal baths.... The site is well served by post buses and is connected to the two towns of Brig and Visp, where there are numerous shopping facilities and restaurants. The basic food supply is guaranteed on the square. In 2014, the Brigerbad will be extensively renovated and then the CP will certainly be even better occupied than it already was at Ascension Day. (Almost full!)Automatiškai išversta.
- Chrigel O.May 2013Very nice reception, you feel at home. Spacious sanitary facilities, 2 children's playgrounds are also included. Regional specialties are served in the Bad restaurant. Beautiful pitches and free choice, also suitable for large motorhomes (over 10m). Thermal bath right next to the site, reduced prices... for camping guests. (Water temperature: approx. 38°, various pools for swimmers and non-swimmers, 180m water slide, river traffic circle, etc.). Dogs are not allowed!Automatiškai išversta.
- Johannes B.June 2012Beautiful, well-kept campsite with a very nice biotope.Automatiškai išversta.
- E. G.July 2011Camping Brigerbad was a real, positive new discovery for us. The pitches are relatively large and always bordered by a tree. When it's hot, you can find shade and as long as the trees are cut back regularly, there's plenty of sunshine in between. The sanitary facilities appear to be new, there are plenty... of them and they were always well maintained and clean - pleasing! This also applies to the whole campsite. There is a great playground for smaller children. The store stocks the essentials with friendly service. The only annoying thing is the noise from the two train lines. But we quickly got used to it. The location is very central between Brig and Visp. The post bus stops right in front of the campsite. There are plenty of opportunities for excursions. The cycle path also leads past the campsite. The thermal bath is chargeable but right next door. Despite some rain, the weather was milder than in the north. We used to spend our summer vacations in Ticino. We have now become fans of Valais and will definitely be returning, as we found a southern flair here too.Automatiškai išversta.
