It is located directly on Lake Inari (unfortunately with a lot of shade) and Ivalo can be reached quickly by car.
Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were old (e.g. paint peeling off the walls/floors, doors were difficult to close) and were not cleaned or... only superficially cleaned. The price of €30 per night is not reasonable, even if Finland is generally a bit expensive.
If we hadn't needed a longer break from driving, we would have driven on the next day. With a wonderful view of the lake at midnight sun. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but clean. The owners are very friendly and also speak German.
