The site is also well located. It was raining when we arrived, so the pool was not open. After the rain stopped, I asked about it and was told that there is a law in Holland that the outside temperature must be at least 20... degrees. I can't judge that, but I don't believe it. There were probably far fewer guests in the square. In addition, the snack bar, the restaurant and the small store were closed. Wi-Fi costs 2 euros per day and device, but was too weak at our pitch near the reception. We have a small camper van with 2 hotplates and a small fridge. The fuses did not manage this together. The sanitary facilities were clean, but after 4.30 minutes the showers in the container-like building came to an end. All in all a pity, because much more could be made of the pitch. Outdated technology.Camping has its best days behind itWe were on the site at the end of June 2019. First of all, what we liked: Nice big pitch with different sections separated by hedges and trees. Some long distances to the sanitary buildings and the store. The drought of the last few weeks has left its mark, as the grass is already brown in many places.... Beautiful wide views and the pitches are separated by hedges. Electricity, water and waste water connections at every pitch. Bread roll service is available from 8:30 to 9:30 am. Now to what we didn't like. Arrival was difficult as the reception was not clearly recognizable. We were only made aware of the intercom system by a camper. The reception was opened and the manageress welcomed us. Our booking via ACSI had been received but she could not accept our advance payment as she had no way of settling with ACSI. We had to pay again and demand a refund of the advance payment from ACSI. The pitch she had allocated to us was very noisy because of cockcrowing from outside the pitch and, as it turned out later, the proximity to the swimming pool. After consultation, we were given another pitch which we were able to view in advance. Overall, we got the impression that the site is heavily influenced by permanent campers and that its better days are behind it. We could only recognize the entrance at the last moment and the roads were also in very poor condition. The sanitary facilities were very dirty or not cleaned at all. There was several days' worth of sand in the drainage channels in the showers and the sanitary building closest to us was not cleaned daily. In the washbasins there were the remains of the previous guests and the light wells had not been cleaned for some time. The taps were cold and hot separately, which made it difficult to adjust them before showering. The restaurant was only open on Saturdays and as this was also served by the manager and her husband, like the cleaning service, it was run accordingly. There is a lack of good management and staff to keep the place and facilities at a good standard. "You have settled in and are satisfied" and therefore far from service-oriented.Automatiškai išversta.
