Despite many dogs it was quiet. Pitches are clean, but could still be a bit better maintained. With a 7.50 m caravan, the pitch length is tight. The site doesn't offer much in the way of infrastructure, but shopping facilities and restaurants... are within easy walking distance. The wash house is always clean but is getting on in years and should be urgently renovated. The outside toilets in particular are really not nice and there are only 2 hand basins with soap. There are no paper towels or anything similar. The price includes 5 minutes of showering per person, which I find perfectly adequate. Just under €37 for a pitch right by the sea is reasonable under the circumstances. The toilets take a bit of getting used to, there are 2 toilets inside. However, there are two rows of half-open toilets along the sanitary area. But they were just as clean as inside. Showers are 5 minutes a day (= 10 units with key), but... you can collect them and shower the next day. Showers are together, but individual cabins. Directly on the beach, you just have to cross a dune. You can also get into town quickly by bike. There are endless cycle paths. We extended our original 3 nights to 6, which was no problem. The staff were friendly. There is a lot to see in the town and a good pancake house.Automatiškai išversta.

Twice on pitch directly at the crossing (pitch 1 = old pitch), once pitch in the village (pitch 2 = new pitch) Pitch 1 as others have written directly at the crossing, sanitary ok, road goes around the pitch, in the morning you can hear the cars. Small village 500 m away. 2 restaurants,... small shop - everything great. But pay close attention to when you arrive. Over May 1st was ok. Were once in Sept. place full of pensioners. Ok no problem. All caravans aligned on a string. Crosswise at the back. Pensioners in the front. Pitch totally full. Alternative pitch = pitch 2, totally empty. Maybe 8 people on the pitch. Ghostly atmosphere. Sanitary container. Clean but sterile. Lots of empty cabins. We won't go there again.Automatiškai išversta.

The sanitary facilities were clean, but the outside toilets took some getting used to (doors open at the bottom and top). In the bakery on the site there is not much choice... in the high season, but there is a small supermarket about 500m from the campsite where the selection is better. It's not the campsite operator's fault!!! Otherwise: Super location, it couldn't be better. 200 m over the dunes to the shallow beach - so also very suitable for children. There are cottages and beach chairs. The... pitches are nicely divided by hedges. Almost all are comfort pitches with water and drainage, electricity column. Very quiet in the low season. Otherwise it could be noisy like all beach campsites. The sanitary facilities are tidy. Clean. Shopping facilities very close by. To fill the gas bottles about 20 km to Not far away (estimate 15 km) you can have the gas bottles filled in "ruck zuck" at: A.J. van Leersum, Trambaan 21, 4316 AN Zonnemaire. Kirsten S.March 2014The campsite is beautiful and close to the beach. We were able to park in front of the barrier at night because we arrived too late - this is not possible at all campsites in NL. The pitches are large enough and the site is well maintained. Unfortunately, our short vacation was abruptly ended by an accident... in the shower. The floors in the sanitary room are very, very slippery when wet. A sign in the anteroom is not enough of a warning. Rubber mats are urgently needed, especially in the shower cubicles. I suffered a laceration and concussion when I slipped in the shower cubicle. The showers had probably been cleaned shortly beforehand and the entire floor was damp.Automatiškai išversta.- Ste R.October 2013Have been visiting the site since 2005 at various times out of season, mostly for short breaks. The site is reasonably sheltered from the wind directly behind the dune (approx. 2x65 steps) by the sea, nature reserve and forest. The pitches are mostly very tight, some of the larger trailers can no longer... be maneuvered with the towing vehicle. The sanitary building is definitely getting on in years, partly draughty, but kept quite clean. There are several restaurants in the immediate vicinity, as well as in the town center (approx. 300m), where there is also a small supermarket (open on Sunday mornings!). At the weekends there are many people from the region looking for recreation with the corresponding background noise until about midnight. Good for relaxing, short walks on the beach and in the forest, bike tours, excursions. Please note: No surfing/kiting facilities nearby, these can only be reached by car.Automatiškai išversta.
- Helge V.August 2012Very nice, relatively quietly located CP, short walk to the large, well-kept sandy beach, many restaurants in the immediate vicinity, sufficient shopping facilities within walking distance, supermarket by bus or bike. Ideal place for swimming, cycling or beach walks. Free weekly bus tickets. Sanitary facilities basic but clean. W-Lan does not work everywhere.
