We have never experienced such great service as from the boss himself at any other campsite. As beginners, we were very unsure when parking our rented caravan in reverse.... When the boss noticed this, he quickly "parked" our car perfectly with his own VW Amorak.
The sanitary buildings are of solid construction.
The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but very clean.
We would award 6 stars at any time for the great service and the very informal atmosphere on the covered terrace of the snack bar on the pitch. Here you can sit back and unwind. Once the swimming facility has been brought up to scratch, it's another reason to spend a few days here. Fresh bread rolls in the morning, freshly grilled Thuringians in the evening, which taste so delicious that you eat them several times. The sanitary facilities are clean and Thomas and his team make sure that there are no problems. The campsite is in a very quiet location. There is a side road to the nearby village that leads directly to the bus stop (towards Weimar). Everything you need is very centrally located on the site itself. The atmosphere on the site is very informal. You can tell that a lot of heart and soul goes into running it. The sanitary facilities were very clean at all times. There is a bread roll service. Almost dead quiet at the weekend, otherwise only some noise due to rush hour traffic. Place a bit outdated, but with charm. Bread roll service and cold drinks, barbecue twice a week, otherwise no catering. The biggest drawback is the lack of a swimming lake, which should... be available again next year - then it will be really great there. 5km to Weimar (7 minutes by car, but there is also a bus), 2km through the forest to Buchwald, 1km to Ettersburg Castle. The sanitary facilities are scarce, but always clean, only the flushing facilities are very limited. The connection to Weimar by bus is good, by car it is less than 10 minutes to the beautiful city. It is also not far to Erfurt or Gotha. There is a bread roll service on site and drinks are also available. Very friendly operators. We would love to come back.Automātiski tulkots.
