- Peter Z.August 2011We had actually chosen another campsite for our 5-day stay in Weymouth, but it was fully booked and so Bagwell Farm was a kind of emergency solution. It is conveniently located and easily accessible near Weymouth and the Fleet (a kind of lagoon by the sea). You don't hear any car traffic, but the farm... makes a bit of noise during the day (but you can put up with it). The pitches are generously sized and have 230V/10A electricity connections (without meters). You have to fetch water from a few central points using jerry cans. The sanitary facilities are adequate and clean, but as is often the case in England, everything is in one room (i.e. showers, toilets and washbasins right next to each other). There were also individual bathrooms with a bath and toilet, which could be locked and the hot water then cost £1 for 10 minutes (the other showers were free). WIFI was available for £1/day, but it didn't always work smoothly, but reception could often help. The place was great for day trips to the Jurrasic Coast or other sights. However, you couldn't get to the sea or the beach from there (but you could see the sea in the distance). At just under £30 in high season, the price was quite OK for our pitch with 2 adults and 2 children.Automātiski tulkots.
