From the spontaneous arrival to everything was just great. Absolutely dog-friendly. Very well maintained and everything in top condition. If you want to nag something, the beach is just a natural... beach and not exactly the mega dream beach. but the dogs could run around well. For the dog vacation full recommendation!

Well, you can forget the store or kiosk, whatever you like to call it! We've been using the site for a few years now and it has hardly changed. The first year the store was subterranean. Then it got better. In the meantime, it's no good at all for a place in this category. The rolls are packed and the staff hardly know the time of day. If you want an ice cream, you're more likely to scrape it off the wall of the chest. Selection is close to zero! Please change the Averhoff family! Nevertheless, we will gladly come back next year!!!Almost only light....The comment is clear....
For those seeking relaxation with a dog who don't want to do without comfort, this is the best place!!!
If that would be even better after the comma, Belt Camping would have earned more than 5 points!

The pitches next to the access road are often very dusty as many drivers do not keep to the prescribed speed. There was no hot water after 4pm on the last two days.Lots of sea, lots of dustIn principle, it's quite a pleasant place, but I personally find it too dusty. Even nice clean showers don't help me if I'm standing in cold water in the evening. Such dogs are not CP suitable - there is only recklessness, disrespect and ignorance and ignoranceLooking for peace and relaxationAs beautiful as the campsite is, it stands and falls with the clientele and the standard.
Apparently it has become increasingly difficult to live together.
By booking a pitch, every guest agrees to the campsite rules and undertakes to comply with them. Unfortunately, the reality is different. PEACE AND... RELAXATION are therefore not a given. What a pity ..........the CP advertises this.

Gaby ..August 2023PozitīviCleanliness of the sanitary facilities and the campsiteNegatīvaisIt wasn't so quiet this year because the volume of some "large families" was clearly strained during the midday rest.We have now become "repeat offenders" :-)We were here for the 2nd time this year and will be happy to come back in 2024 - but not in the high season, as it is much louder at this time.
Overall, we still really enjoyed it and had a great stay. The sanitary facilities were very clean at all times, especially in the high season.
The site and the... pitches are large, very well maintained and clean.
The site is particularly child and dog friendly.
In addition to the stationary pizza restaurant, various trucks (burgers/fish/snack bar etc.) come to the site - we didn't notice this last year, or it's a new, nice offer.Automātiski tulkots.- G. We enquired the next morning and even got a pitch with a sea view. We were very happy with our pitch and all the other pitches were great too.

M. P.August 2023PozitīviSince 2013, we have returned to this site year after year - always accompanied by our tent. The spacious meadow where we could pitch our tent offered us the ideal atmosphere. We never felt cramped here between massive motorhomes or caravans. The site design and facilities have always impressed us and make this place an adventure playground, especially for families with children. However, our most recent experience has been one of disappointment.NegatīvaisMotorhomes are lined up everywhere as far as the eye can see - like a chicken cage. And just one meter next to our tent is a motorhome from Switzerland with a continuously running parking heater. Sleep was out of the question. The next day we felt exhausted. Ironically, this place has the slogan "Sooo goes recovery!". But we could only dream of rest. We now need to recover from this place ourselves. It is a shame that we have come to this realization after ten years, but we have to admit to ourselves that we are disappointed with this place. What a shame...ATTENTION not for people who still want to camp normallyUnfortunately, our experience at this campsite was anything but relaxing. When we arrived, we were greeted by an endless row of motorhomes, closely packed together and reminiscent of a crowded chicken cage. Right next to our tent was a Swiss motorhome with a continuous parking heater, which destroyed... any hope of a peaceful night. Sleep was impossible and we felt completely exhausted the next day.
It's ironic that the slogan of this campsite is "Sooo goes recreation!". However, our experience was the exact opposite. Instead of relaxation, we found noise and discomfort. After 10 years of visiting this place, we are now unfortunately forced to look for other recreational opportunities. It is unfortunate that we had to make this decision, but our well-being is our top priority.
In addition, we have to note that the price of this campsite has increased significantly compared to our previous visits. Especially for families with children, this campsite has simply become too expensive. It reminds us of how this place used to be different - a place that was accessible and affordable for families. Unfortunately, the tide has turned and it seems that Fehmarn has learned to overcharge people.
In light of this disappointing experience, we unfortunately cannot give a positive review for this place. Mega friendly staff, be it the groundsman, the cleaning staff, the store staff or the "executive floor". You get the feeling that they are happy to have guests here. The sanitary blocks.... simply... world class! The pitches are huge and well maintained. Many dog owners leave their pets' poop lying around, even though free poop bags and garbage cans are available everywhere.Campsite in a great landscapeLong campsite behind the dyke - with two sanitary blocks, which were always very clean during our stay. There are vacation apartments in the upper part of the sanitary blocks. At the front of the campsite there is a pizzeria - also serving takeaway meals - and a small store. Here you can buy the essentials... and order bread rolls.
Waste separation is practiced. There is a children's playground and a bird aviary. Dogs are allowed - max. 2 per pitch, free poop bags and dog showers are also available. The nearest town is approx. 4 km away and Burg approx. 11 km.
Although the site was well occupied even in the off-season, it was very quiet overall.

Nevertheless, there are a few things that could be changed. The second playground above the campsite, for example.Most beautiful place on the whole islandWe have been spending our summer vacation there since 2017. We liked it there straight away. The children can play there and move around freely without danger. The dog is also welcome and can run around the whole site. It's only a few meters from the pitch and you're already on the dyke. We love the... natural beach and the almost always clear water. The store has been under new management since last year, which is clearly noticeable, in a positive sense. The bread roll service is great. The vacation is relaxed and stress-free, and that's exactly how it should be. We wouldn't want to spend our summer vacation at any other campsite. Compared to other campsites on the island, for us it's the most beautiful place on the whole of Fehmarn.Automātiski tulkots.
