Control mania, Neanderthals or the little dictator. Double standards are applied, homeowners are harassed and bullied, even for trivial matters. The Brinkmann family may not be aware that this guy is behaving like an axe in the forest. Live and let live, we only have one thing. There are also the strange, incomprehensible barrier opening times. Why barrier opening times? Why different times for summer and winter? What's the point of blocking the barrier at lunchtime? This is not a retirement home. There's no such nonsense anywhere. The site is not recommended.
Rating Brinkmann's Hof
We have been visiting this camping and weekend park Brinkmann's Hof regularly 3-4 times a year for several years, as we have friends there. Now the name "park" is misleading, you imagine a park differently and it has little to do with camping, just a small meadow, without sanitary facilities, which are... a little further away. The wash house, well, it's okay.
The restaurant has been closed since the end of 2023.
All in all, pretty outdated. A few dirty corners, building work in progress and huts patched together with waste materials - not a good look for the site.
The vacation home owners are becoming increasingly dissatisfied and frustrated.
The topic comes up in every conversation with my friends.
This is said to be due to the change in management behavior. Years ago, the site was run fairly harmoniously by the "old" Brinkmann patron, but since the daughter took over, a cold wind has been blowing. Communication of any kind ends predominantly with far-fetched counter-arguments by the daughter, other opinions are supposedly not accepted. But as if that wasn't enough, the daughter's boyfriend also joined in. Both live in their own little bubble and seem unworldly.
The homeowners are kept in check with gagging agreements, according to the motto: if you don't like it, then leave.
The homeowners have become obsessively dependent, creating oppressive feelings and causing worries for one or the other, as they are at the mercy of the site operator for better or worse.
This leads to restrictive administrative violations and thus to negative energy, the opposite of generous, tolerant and reasonable.
Homeowners use words such as: not fit for purpose, petty, arbitrary, overbearing, primitive encroachment, bullying, patronizing, malicious, resentful, hostile, unable to act according to objective judgment, lacking critical faculties
