Very outdated, urgently in need of renovation
Aging campsite right on the water
Small campsite right on the water. POSITIVE: direct access to the lake, great water quality and a great swimming experience; bread roll service; some shady trees; you can walk to the restaurant, the small supermarket or eat ice cream; beautiful view of the water from the pitches right next to the fence;... VERY friendly reception, German is also spoken; electricity available; although public beach section not overcrowded even in high season; many excursion possibilities in the area NEGATIVE: Very small, narrow pitches; since everyone lives very close to each other, it is correspondingly loud - if you sleep in a tent, you definitely have to think about earplugs; a public footpath runs directly along the pitches in the first row, which is also actively used, so you are often observed and feel a bit like in the zoo :-) The wash house is very old and shabby, but relatively clean; also beware of the pitches directly on the road, it is very noisy there, it is better to book a pitch in the middle or at the front by the water CONCLUSION: Everyone has different ideas about campsites, we actually quite like it here. We can overlook the negative points, but a renovated toilet block would be great!

Suitable for transit
We spent one night at the campsite. We used it as a transit stopover to Liguria. Registration was very friendly and even possible late in the evening. It's more of a smaller site separated by a road. Unfortunately the toilets were very dark. There was only one shower for the women. There was no hot water for washing up as the water tank was empty. Overall, however, a good camping site that is well suited for transit

Small, simple place in a great location
A small pitch divided by a small road. The left half by the lake has 4 rows of 6-about 10 pitches each. The front two rows facing the lake have some small trees, the back two, especially the 4th row, are under tall trees. The sanitary building is also here. A little older but perfectly adequate. It is... cleaned several times a day and the showers are finally really hot and have plenty of water, great! The pitch is fenced in and a small opening leads from the middle to the lake. In front of it is a 20-meter-wide strip of grass and trees further to the left. Both sun worshippers and shade lovers will find plenty of space here. The lake has a shallow shore. On the other side of the road is the reception with a small bar and terrace. There are also some mobile homes and the brown and black water disposal points are located there. It's pretty basic with a metal plate in the floor, but well... it works. And what else? The little town is quite cute. There's a two-storey supermarket at the top of the main street and it's within walking distance. There are several pizzerias in the town, as well as one for the first hunger pangs just to the left of the square. You can take a nice little walk past the lake and the other campsite on the left, up to the old harbor and then back through the town. There's not much to see, but we also want to relax and not rush. A note for ACSI Card holders: When we checked in with the low-cost ACSI, we were told that the first two rows on the lake were unfortunately fully booked and reserved. Hmmm... But in hindsight we didn't care because the site is small and cute and you have a good view from everywhere.

nice location, quiet, clean

Rather small pitches for large caravans.
very sympathetic
My wife, our young children and I stayed at this campsite with a caravan for 5 nights in July 2017. The campsite is very small, ideal for tents or smaller caravans. With a large caravan it is rather tight. The manager speaks Swiss German and is very helpful. There is nothing exciting for children on... the site itself, but there is a playground nearby by the lake. We really enjoyed our stay and can recommend the campsite. The location directly on the lake is fantastic and very quiet.

Small but nice
Only a 2-star facility, but our favorite place. The managers Rosalinde and Patrick are extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back! Very good value for money! The sanitary facilities are a bit old, but always very clean.
