Beautiful normal or maxi pitches. Body toilets cleaned and sanitized several times a day. Inside there is a small grocery store stocked with essential products there is also a bar and restaurant pizzeria. Very helpful and friendly staff.I highly recommend it. The valley here is very narrow, but at the end of September we still had sun on our mini pitch above the soccer pitch from shortly after 8 in the morning until just before sunset. Thanks... to reception, who were very relaxed and customer-friendly regarding the choice of pitch.
When visiting the campsite, we noticed the somewhat noisy road above the pitch and were worried that it might be a bit noisy. In retrospect, we have to smile about this, as the road was hardly used at night. Nevertheless, we didn't sleep so well some nights, but that was due to the loud roaring deer. A real spectacle of nature!
The restaurant on the campsite is excellent, the food very tasty, especially the pizza is exceptionally good. Unfortunately, we had to sit in the conservatory with our dog, where it was a bit chilly in some places (despite the fireplace) and not as cozy as in the main part of the restaurant.
The sanitary building is very clean, a lady was usually there during the day to disinfect the toilets and showers. However, the standing toilets and seats with (non-functioning) automatic disinfection systems take a little getting used to. The showers for the ladies were great, lots of water pressure. Unfortunately there was hardly any water pressure for the men...
Various hikes were unfortunately not possible due to the damage caused by the storm a few years ago. The annoying thing, however, was that the signs only pointed this out late, when you had already started the hike. Unfortunately most of the cable cars are already closed at the end of September, we only went to Pampeago (very impressive).
All in all, a beautiful campsite with hiking opportunities and "dog walking trails" directly from the site, impressive area with spectacular mountain scenery. Water points are easily accessible everywhere and even the well-separated waste disposal is possible without long distances. The operators are extremely friendly. Cleaning staff work tirelessly, everything is clean and tidy. Predazzo is located at the southern tip of the Val di Fassa; to the north is Canazei. For us Camping ValleVerde in this region stood out head and shoulders above in price-quality ratio. For an extra 2 euros / day (2015) you can use the gondola and the lifts on the local Latemar mountain for free, including mountain bikes. Predazzo is about 2.5 km away and is easy to reach by bike. There is a restaurant and a small store on the campsite,... with bread rolls available to order every morning. The staff are super polite and helpful. - Bernd N.September 2012We were passing through the Dolomites in Sept. 2012 and stayed here because of the low price (ACSI Card). We were completely surprised how beautiful it is here. Camping Valle Verde is a very nice little campsite situated in a small valley just below the Rolle Pass. The pass road is within earshot, but... doesn't interfere. Very clean and spacious sanitary facilities, friendly site managers, good restaurant, beautiful pitches on grass with electricity, water every 30m, walks possible directly from the site. Walk to Predazzo (approx. 15 min.). Predazzo is a nice little town that has retained its original flair. A few km further towards the Catinaccio, on the other hand, it's already a hive of activity. Can only recommend the place! We stayed much longer than planned because we liked it so much. I will definitely come back here again.Automātiski tulkots.
- Markus H.July 2012We stayed at this campsite for a few days in July 2012. It is in a very quiet location in a valley in the Dolomites. The layout of the site is quite relaxed, the operators very laid-back. The wash house is quite spacious and super clean. A special feature (at least that's how we found it) is the "squat... toilets", which I had only seen in France before. The restaurant on site serves sensational pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven. You can also order bread rolls from the bar, which are then ready to pick up the next morning. There are further shopping facilities in the nearby town of Predazzo, with several supermarkets, petrol stations etc. Overall quite quiet (you rarely hear the next road), great hiking opportunities and a friendly atmosphere.Automātiski tulkots.
