Small, quiet campsite
A nice little place. The layout is such that you have enough distance to the neighbors on all sides. Each pitch has a drinking water connection.
The wash house is older, but was always clean. You don't need tokens to shower. At peak times, however, you have to wait in the showers. We sometimes used... the family shower.
There is a bread roll service with delicious rolls and croissants from the local bakery.
Bad Bentheim can be reached by bike in 15 minutes.
Directly behind the campsite is a beautiful hiking trail to the former sandstone quarry.
There is plenty to do in the surrounding area or just relax on the campsite.

Very well-kept quiet campsite
A very well-kept, quiet campsite. You have everything you need. Even private sanitary facilities if required. Mostly water and waste water directly on the pitch.
Dogs are also welcome.
We would love to come back

Nice quiet place
CP located just outside the town on a gentle slope. The pitches are green, adequately sized, partly terraced, and equipped with everything (electricity, water, waste water). The operators are very friendly and also offer a bread roll service. Absolutely quiet surroundings. The sanitary facilities are... not the newest, but are completely in order and clean. There is a part of the site in front, only for vacationers with tall trees. There is nothing to complain about. The price for 2 people and a caravan at €24 including tourist tax is fine.

Well-kept place, pleasant atmosphere
Very well-kept site with friendly and helpful operators. The pitches are beautiful and very large. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but TOP clean and toilet paper is also available. However, they are much too dark inside, additional light sources would be desirable. Bread roll service is available, but no daily newspapers. The restaurant is only open at weekends. The town is very easy to reach by bike.

Recreation in the countryside
We stayed at the campsite and felt really comfortable. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I am a frostbite and always found the sanitary buildings pleasantly heated.

Solidly managed site. Good contact with the operators. Sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but clean and tidy. Major drawback: grass clippings are not collected and are carried into the awning and caravan in wet weather.

Great location for beautiful bike tours

Sometimes somewhat cool sanitary building
beautiful place
After 2014, we spent a few days at the campsite again this year. The site is ideally located for great cycling tours. The sanitary building is a little cool in places but always clean. A nice host family and the great area make us want to visit again. We will be back

Everything is in order!
We stayed at this site for the first time in October 2012. The sanitary facilities were clean but a bit chilly. On the subject of toilet paper; we have been traveling for 34 years. After setting up the caravan on the pitch, we familiarize ourselves with the sanitary situation. A lack of toilet paper... is not a problem for us. After visiting another site in the region in 2013, we ended up here again in 2014. The site is constantly being developed. Now terraced. Affordable WLAN on site. Clean sanitary facilities fully equipped with toilet paper, soap dispenser and hand dryer. Friendly operator family. All in all, a good and well-run campsite. We will be back!

Beautiful terraced and large pitches with water/waste water on site. Depending on the wind direction, you can sometimes hear the highway, but that didn't bother us. Deduction for the dark and now in November insufficiently heated sanitary building.

The site is quite nice and centrally located for tours in the county of Bentheim. The weak point is the sanitary building, where there is neither toilet paper nor soap for washing hands nor paper towels or similar. The house is clean, but the above-mentioned lack of utensils is not a particularly good prerequisite for feeling really comfortable on this site.
