Barbara Z.August 2024PozitīviUnfortunately, apart from the very friendly operator, we can't think of anything else.NegatīvaisThe sites designated as transit sites are very narrow and sometimes very uneven; maneuvering with large motorhomes is difficult. There is one electricity and water column per transit site, but the water is not suitable for drinking. All tapping points are marked with "No drinking water" signs. There are no other sources of drinking water, not even for a coin. An absolute no-go for us.No drinking water / Price/performance ratio is not right at allWe had booked a pitch for 2 days, which we were able to change to a later date without any problems. The operator gave us a very warm welcome and personally took us to the pitch. It was right at the entrance at the top of two streets running around the site and had the charm of a traffic island with... a lot of pedestrian traffic. The sanitary facilities are old but clean. The water tap does not supply drinking water, which is not available anywhere else. As we didn't go there to wash the car, we didn't use the water. There was no indication of the drinking water situation either on the website or in the booking confirmation. The pitch was shown as having electricity and water when we booked, which was also reflected in the price. The price-performance ratio is not right here at all. For us, this is an absolute no-go, no matter how nice the operator is. We had booked for 2 days but left after just one day due to the circumstances. Maybe okay as a transit campground, however a longer stay is not recommended, unless you like highway noise. Lake for swimming is fine, with nice grass beach , with/without shade. If you have waste sorting as a hobby, then this is... the place to be: as many as 11-12 categories ! It seems that native campers have an advantage when it comes to the ability to BBQ: I have seen several, while there were posters everywhere that no type of grill was allowed.Automātiski tulkots.

Unfortunately there was tree felling work going on that day. Very loud but we understand that. The workers stopped at 6.30 pm and we thought we would have peace and quiet now. But no, now the permanent campers started to make noise, the whole thing... went on until 8.30 pm. At 7.50 in the morning, the permanent campers started working on their pitches again. The site warden/owner kept driving across the site in her car and watching the whole thing. One night with a lot of noise for 25 euros, thank you never again. We had made a reservation (it was easy via email) and were personally accompanied to our pitch. There was also help to maneuver the car into the bays intended for transit campers. It was possible to order bread rolls, but we couldn't try out the restaurant... as it was only open from 7pm (perhaps because a wedding was taking place there at the same time). Memmingen is about 5 minutes away by car, the town is also worth a visit. Conclusion: everything was great, thank you very much!Automātiski tulkots.
Alexander H.June 2017PozitīviGood location, friendlinessNegatīvaisNone foundPleasant overnight stay in MemmingenWe stayed at Seecamping for one night at the beginning of June and were given a very friendly welcome shortly before closing time and personally (!!!) guided to our pitch. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to take a closer look at the site and the lake in particular, which is why we can only... give a limited rating. The location close to the A7 is great and we were very pleased to be escorted to the pitch. The sanitary building is a few years old, but was clean. In our opinion, hot water for cash is no longer up to date. Conclusion: definitely recommended for a stopover! And if you arrive a little earlier than us, you can relax by the lake in the evening.Automātiski tulkots.

We were there twice in 14 days, you should take a car or bike with you. Beautifully situated on the lake. Everything ok. The campsite can be reached from the highway in about 10 minutes and is ideally located. There are plenty of pitches for transit guests. The restaurant is good and cozy but unfortunately far too few staff. Sanitary facilities are small, cramped but clean. The pitch was level. Unfortunately you can hear the highway at night.
