Nice place. Actually. Camping as it used to be. But: the water in the showers, washbasins and sinks is cold. Dirty sanitary facilities. Zero site maintenance. The location alone doesn't make up for it.

Nice campsite for German families
We were there for one night and there were almost exclusively German families with small children. The campsite was quite full in mid-September. As we were looking for peace and quiet, it wasn't the right place for us. Certainly very nice for families. It is relatively noisy there. The sanitary facilities are ok, but not enough when the place is quite full. In the evening you had to queue to shower. The site is right by the sea.

Very nice place with mostly sunny spots. The reception was very businesslike. We were able to choose our own pitch. There is something like a parcelling, but it is partly unclear. In any case, we had enough space for our medium-sized caravan. The beach is quite nice, but the water gets very deep very... quickly, rather child-unfriendly. The sanitary facilities are reasonably ok, fairly clean, but are already well utilized at half occupancy. Then it sometimes smells. There are too few washbasins with too little space. In the morning, a bakery van arrives around 8 a.m. and drives across the pitch honking its horn. At least the quality of the baked goods is good. The restaurant next to the square is rather plain, but offers a beautiful view. The aforementioned access road: Yes, it is steep and a bit narrow, I was glad that no one was coming towards me, but with an automatic car it was no problem. Incidentally, only cash payment possible.

A little outdated
Very simple campsite
The place is very simple. There are no shopping facilities. The restaurant above the campsite is not recommended. The beach is spacious, but quickly falls away steeply. The campsite is very busy in high season.

Everything seems a bit loveless
A bit outdated, but beautifully situated
The campsite is beautifully situated right on a lovely bay with a great sandy beach. Overall, however, the campsite gives the impression that its best days are behind it. The grounds of the campsite are a little lacking in maintenance. The entrance area of the campsite looks a little loveless and unattractive.... The site would benefit from some play equipment (volleyball court / table tennis tables) or a meeting point with seating. Shopping facilities are not available. The nearest supermarket is approx. 10 km away in Probriano. Bread rolls are brought in early in the morning (approx. 8:00 am) by a rolling vendor. If you miss it, you're out of luck. There is a restaurant, but we cannot recommend it. However, there are plenty of places to stop for refreshments in the surrounding area. The campsite is very uncomplicated overall, with some beautiful, shady pitches - although these are the first to be occupied. The facilities are rather basic. The price primarily reflects the great location directly on the beautiful bay. However, the sanitary facilities were always clean and well maintained. We liked the campsite because of its authenticity and simplicity. However, if you are expecting infrastructure and organized entertainment, this is not the place for you. P.s.: The arrival and departure, even with a larger caravan, was no problem for us.

Small but nice
It is a small, simple site with everything you need. The sanitary facilities are older, but clean. A bakery van comes in the morning, otherwise there are no shopping facilities. The fine pebble beach has a very steep drop into the water.

Original camping
We liked this place because of its wonderful, quiet location on a very beautiful beach. We were warned by the reviews about the access road and just closed the road briefly at the top of the driveway so that my better half could get up easily with momentum. The sanitary facilities are old and hardly... one tile matches another ;-), but everything was scrubbed spotless every morning. The reception is actually in a kind of open wooden hut. Madame made a very friendly attempt to improve her German. Just above the campsite, there is still the opportunity to eat snacks. Bread in the morning at 8 o'clock with the bakery cart. We particularly liked the natural site with large pitches, some of them under trees.

Rustic camping site
The campsite is right on the beach. The reception was friendly and German was also spoken. The reception looks more like a "litter stall" at the fair. The sanitary building also needs to be renovated. Not to mention the disposal facility for motorhomes. The site is reached via a steep descent. You could... choose your own pitch. There are plenty of shady spots under the trees on the site. In the morning, a baker comes to the site with delicious bread, and that's it for shopping! The beach and the sea are clean.

Very nice campsite, which I would gladly recommend, but: be careful with caravans - the narrow, steep descent from the road to the site offers no problems, I underestimated the situation on the way up because I thought I had a strong towing vehicle (Audi A6, 2.8l Quattro), with which I had no comparable... problems before. The driveway is initially moderately steep, goes through a gate, makes a 90-degree bend and then becomes steeper. In any case, after carefully driving through the gate, the engine speed dropped too low, the engine stopped and it was initially impossible to start up the hill. I got up the hill with "force" and a slipping clutch, but the clutch was smoking like a movie. We were then told stories from the days before which suggested that this happens regularly. So pay attention to speed and revs when driving out and don't be too careful. Take a look at the route beforehand and possibly put someone at the top to make sure no one is coming towards you. The reception speaks German, but I found the lady to be indifferent and I didn't get a warning for the driveway despite asking. Comment: larger caravans have already arrived. I now change the friction disks, which were new before, once again and only drive to this site with a tent.
