- Andreas B.July 2022PozitīviDirectly on the lake, supermarket right on the street, space for children, clean sanitary facilities.NegatīvaisVery small bathing beach (dog beach) very close to each other, partly dusty paths, reservation fees of 20,- Sfr.Beautiful yes but with restrictionsWe were with our grandchildren for a weekend on this place which actually looked very good. The place is of course well filled for mid-June but we had reserved and still only got a corner place on a dusty driveway, with 2 small children a bit difficult because of the regularly passing vehicles. Bathing... was reasonably possible at a place that was marked as a dog bathing beach at another place was a jetty which is not suitable for children, because on the tent meadow the tents were set up to the shore (although there is a limit that is ignored) we could not swim here. Noise nuisance after 11pm, on the other hand, is low as there are security staff on the site. We found the sanitary facilities clean and technically in order. What still surprised us is the 20 Sfr reservation fee, which is a bit high. We will probably visit the site again but in the early or late season without a reservation.Automātiski tulkots.
- Rosemarie S.July 2019PozitīviLocation, lake access, evening sun, excursion possibilitiesNegatīvaisIf you're lucky enough to get a place, none!Probably few tourist spots, but if you're lucky...We arrived on a Saturday afternoon after 16:00 and had not made a reservation. There was still one pitch available, but it was supposed to be very small. We only have a small motorhome, so we didn't see a problem, we were also advised that we could move to a larger pitch the next day. The pitch was then... somewhat occupied by the neighbors to the right and left, but before we arrived there with the motorhome, an employee was on site with a bicycle and informed these guests that we would be coming. There was also only positive feedback from the neighbors: Would we really have enough space...? We already had smaller pitches! So everything was fine. It is true that the campsite is mainly occupied by permanent campers and only has a few tourist pitches, but these are in the immediate vicinity of the campsite's own lake beach and the sanitary facilities, which are well maintained and adequate. The lake beach is located directly opposite Neuenburg, where you can enjoy the evening sun and the sunset. Access to the nature reserve along the lake directly from the tourist pitches. For tent guests it might be interesting: the pitches are right on the lake and there are barbecue facilities. We stayed for four days because we were able to make such beautiful bike tours from there: to Estavayer-le-Lac, to Lake Murten, to Neuchâtel and back again from there by boat... There would have been even more possibilities. There are special conditions for boat trips for camping guests. In the village there is a jetty, bakery, fruit and vegetables directly from the producer, restaurants (but we didn't go there).Automātiski tulkots.
- Hans-Peter M.August 2018PozitīviBeautiful location, hiking and water sports opportunitiesNegatīvaisVery high reservation fee not charged, outdated and inadequate infrastructure.Nice location but outdatedThe campsite is undoubtedly very beautiful, located directly on Lake Neuchâtel and is ideal for water sports. However, the infrastructure is inadequate. There is no restaurant or store. Disposal is outside the campsite and only with Batch. (The site is mainly occupied by permanent annual tenants and... it seemed to us that motorhomes and campers are not really welcome. As a group with several vehicles, we paid a steep reservation fee that was neither credited nor refunded. In addition, another 20 Fr. appeared on the bill for reservations. These fees put the price of the pitch into perspective and make this campsite unattractive despite its location.Automātiski tulkots.Atbildēja no Camping communale de Cudrefin December 5, 2018Dear Mr. Marti
Thank you for your comment. We are always striving to improve our service. Unfortunately, we are not entirely clear what you mean by disposal only possible with a badge. Waste can be disposed of directly at the sanitary facilities and there is a station inside the campsite for chemical... toilets and gray water from motorhomes. It is true that we charge a reservation fee in July/August which is not yet charged (as with many other campsites, we are currently discussing whether to change this for next season). On the invoice you will find the reservation fee of Fr. 20.00 and underneath you will find the position in minus as normally a deposit is required. If this is not the case for you, please contact the campsite management so that we can refund the costs.Automātiski tulkots. - Marcel L.October 2016PozitīviBeautiful location, directly on the lakeNegatīvaisAncient, run-down sanitary facilities, an imposition in the transitional period (open and unheated)Place without soul and charmWe have asked by e-mail whether the place is still open in October. Answer; YES, just come. Although arrival time was agreed, no one at reception! 1 hour wait. 90% occupied by permanent campers with their 5* villas, tourists are "catered for" in one corner. Large plots but electrical connections very... far away (2 cable reels needed). Overall a place without charm, totally outdated infrastructure and not designed for tourists with WW. We won't be back.Automātiski tulkots.Atbildēja no Camping communale de Cudrefin November 14, 2016Dear malunef
We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We always strive to offer our guests a good service. It seems that something went wrong on your arrival and we apologize for that. The sanitary facilities will certainly be overhauled in the next few years, but they are not ancient and unkempt. Passers-by are not shoved into a corner, but are placed close to the lake wherever possible. Kind regards, Service CampingAutomātiski tulkots. - Patrick G.September 2016PozitīviDirectly on the lake, store just across the street, hot water is free and electricity is also included.NegatīvaisThe camping is large (take your bike with you), no cars on parking spaces,Practical, I was satisfied.I spent 3 weeks on this site with my caravan. The welcome was in French. I don't think the site is expensive by Swiss standards. You have to pay the full amount on arrival. If you book via the homepage it costs 20.- Fr. more (!). The place is huge, if possible take a bike with you. The sanitary facilities... are functional and in the evening always full of living and dead mosquitoes, as well as cobwebs everywhere in the upper area. Hot water does not cost extra. There is a large meadow and fire pits by the lake. On the other side of the road from the campsite there is a Denner, where you can get everything a camper's heart desires (fresh bread rolls, other food, etc.). There are no catering facilities at the campsite. On the whole, I was satisfied.Automātiski tulkots.Atbildēja no Camping communale de Cudrefin September 6, 2016Thank you very much for your feedback and suggestions. We hope to be able to offer a snack stand at the campsite from next year. We are now trying to minimize the problem with mosquitoes and cobwebs by using ecologically sound products (we are located in a nature reserve). We hope to welcome you again at the campsite.Automātiski tulkots.

- Urs W.August 2015Pozitīvi- Beautiful location directly on the lake - Swimming, SUP and other water sports - Tent pitch directly on the lakeNegatīvais- Space for motorhomes is limited - No restaurant on site (but in Cudrefin) - Set up for permanent campersBeautiful location on Lake NeuchâtelThe site is mainly occupied by permanent campers, the mobile homes are very well maintained, which can certainly be described as "bourgeois", but also leaves a nice impression with the many flowers etc.. There are a few pitches for mobile homes near the lake, relatively close together. If you want to... camp in a tent, this is a paradise with pitches right by the lake. Well suited for swimming, SUP or other water activities. Cycling along the lake is also possible throughout. Toilet facilities were clean. The staff at reception were correct, but not overly welcoming (as we are used to from other campsites).Automātiski tulkots.Atbildēja no Camping communale de Cudrefin November 30, 2015Dear urs-264
Thank you for your kind review. We hope to be able to provide more and larger pitches for motorhomes next season and would be delighted to welcome you back to our campsite.
Kind regards
Camping communal CudrefinAutomātiski tulkots. - Marco M.May 2015PozitīviDirectly on the lakeNegatīvaisAncient sanitary facilities, offers nothing: no restaurant, no store...For permanent campersThe site is actually a village of permanent campers with their permanently installed "houses". Only in the front part near the lake are there a few free pitches for shared flats, mobile homes or tents. Apart from a small harbor, the site offers nothing. No restaurant, no store (Denner in the immediate... vicinity), no entertainment, nothing. Sanitary facilities are ancient and open. Quite cold in the cool temperatures. Cleanliness was poor. Were only there for 2 days over Whitsun. Nice trip to Avanches (Roman ruins with famous amphitheater). As the site is right on the lake and our pitch right next to the forest = lots of mosquitoes.Automātiski tulkots.Atbildēja no Camping communale de Cudrefin November 30, 2015Dear Mr. marco-69183
Thank you for your review. We always endeavor to make our guests' stay as pleasant as possible. We are sorry that you were not satisfied with us and would have been happy to be contacted by you directly.
A good coexistence between permanent campers and passers-by has never been a problem.
Kind regards
Camping communal CudrefinAutomātiski tulkots. - J. D.September 2014PozitīviLake pushNegatīvaisSkewered to the coreIf you like petty-bourgeois bourgeoisie, you've come to the right place!September 2014 with camper van and motorcycle to Air14. The registration fee of 25 SF is a hidden price increase, which relativizes the otherwise low fees compared to other campsites. In return, you get a site with mainly permanent campers, including the odd block warden who monitors the speed limit... of 10 km/h for cars, but not for cyclists. Some campers were allowed to bring their scooters in, but we were only allowed to charge our motorcycle on the day of departure with the greatest resistance and even then the friendliness was suddenly over..... So if you like having people around you who attach great importance to bourgeois behavior and are very distant to everything unknown, this is the place for you! I would recommend any other campsite on the lake to everyone else, as they all have access to the lake and are up to date, which cannot be said of this campsite. It's probably already well known in the area. I am happy to say that this campsite is probably the negative exception in Switzerland. It would be terrible if all courses were like this one!Automātiski tulkots.
- Beat S.July 2013A big disadvantage is that there is neither a store nor a restaurant on the site. The sanitary facilities are also very outdated. On our tent pitch, we were surrounded by young people who received several warnings from the groundsman for their drunken excesses and loud parties, but never had to expect any real consequences. Cool and hip for young people, rather a flop for families. We therefore preferred to leave the site early.Automātiski tulkots.
