The reception looks very untidy. The site is very outdated. The sanitary facilities are old but clean. The restaurant is very good. The beach is a bit far away. But very nice. Nice walking paths! Located just outside Noordwijk, you are dependent on a car or bike, especially for shopping. The beach / incl. dog beach is easily and quickly reached on foot (approx. 2km). The pitches are large, we had enough space with our tent + pavilion 3 dogs, toddler & baby. The staff, operators and all guests were friendly. Huge hedges. No shopping facilities within walking distance.Small, super narrow pitch with huge hedges close to the North SeaWe were guests on the pitch for a good week. On arrival, we were more than shocked by the narrow paths. Oncoming traffic is not allowed. Even with a mover, it was difficult to park the camper van. The pitch is separated by large hedges. Which is a matter of taste. In windy conditions, which can certainly... occur at sea, it is certainly an advantage. The sanitary facilities are okay so far. The cleanliness is not outstanding but it's okay. Apart from a bread roll service, there is no catering. It takes half an hour to walk to the nearest shop. Bicycles would be handy. The whole region is designed for cycling anyway. With six dogs! It's just great how friendly the people there are to dogs. The site was clean and quiet. The sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained. You can hire bicycles directly at the campsite and the sea can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes. Endless long beach. Clean and dog-friendly. The pitches are well-kept and well protected by the hedges, but the access road is also very narrow. No problem with a Moover. The sanitary facilities are basic (no toilet paper, no soap, no hand dryer) and clean. The showers are free.... In the morning there is a bread roll service, otherwise you have to go shopping in Noordwijkerhout, about 3-4 km. The pizzeria there is great! The immediate surroundings are great for cycling. There are many marked paths in the dunes. Vacations with dogs are no problem there. The Hague, Leiden, Zandvoort, smaller towns such as Katwijk and Noordwijk are all within easy reach.Automātiski tulkots.

Fatel, because almost all the pitches were fully booked. At Camping De Duinpan, we were kindly allocated a pitch in front of reception for two nights until another pitch became available. The site itself... was in an excellent location for our activities. Directly in front of the large sand dunes with cycling and hiking trails and the nearby sea. An ideal starting point through the tulip fields. Even the children were enthusiastic about the good cycle paths. The site itself was quiet, although it could be a little better looked after. The sanitary facilities were ok, but nothing more. It was difficult to dispose of the chemical toilet due to a blocked drain. The service and friendliness of the site operators is great. The sanitary facilities for campers are perfectly adequate (free showers / limited time), and if you know in advance that there is no toilet paper etc. available. A shortcoming... is definitely the narrowness of the access to the pitches, as well as the maneuvering possibilities, if caravans with awnings are already set up. Something should also be done about the drainage. Quiet despite the designated "dog area", at least in the off-season. The surrounding area, the beach and the dunes are wonderful for relaxing and unwinding. Also ideal with a dog. Whether on foot or by bike. Trips to The Hague or Amsterdam are recommended, as the distances are short. If you use WLAN, you should expect constant disconnections and reconnections, but it is included in the price. There are always 3 units together in an alcove. Unfortunately, the access to the pitches is very narrow and when there are cars on the parking strip, it is almost impossible to drive in... a caravan without damaging it. Good for those who have a Moever, everything else is dependent on strong muscles or friendly neighbors. In one hour we counted 11 airplanes at an altitude of 400m. So you can't speak of peace and quiet. Of course, there are people who don't mind the noise of airplanes. But the path to the beach is very nice. And we really liked the beach. Unfortunately, there was no soap dispenser, toilet paper or hand dryer in the toilets.Automātiski tulkots.
