"Beautifully situated place on the Tarn - Large site on a steep slope above the Tarn. Some very narrow access roads to the pitches. Access to the river. The village of St. Rome is within walking distance, with several bars/restaurants, but no shopping facilities. Good starting point for visits to the Tarn Valley, stalactite caves (such as the spectacular Aven Armand), the cheese village of Roquefort or some medieval villages in the area. Decent ground, medium shade. Quiet. Pitches mostly with electricity and water. Swimming in the river. Good facilities: very large (!) swimming pool, washing machine, tumble dryer. Clean sanitary facilities. The site is also suitable for longer stays. Large price differences between low and high season. For example: until June 29: €18.20; from July 20: €38.20!

"beautiful place to feel good - Very nice large semi-shaded pitches with a view of the Tarn. Very friendly and fun operators and staff.

"4 ETOILES SURFAIT-NOUS NE REVIENDRONS JAMAIS - Don't arrive between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Reception is closed, which isn't great for a 4-star campsite. Huge fee if you have a dog (€6/day) =>Unjustified, a dog doesn't cost €6 a day, especially at a campsite, it's an incentive for people to abandon their pets on the side of the road. Zero entertainment. General upkeep average-Early July still undergoing work (fencing + tree trimming)... The request to get out your cheque book is omnipresent (free tennis, but after using it several times, I was made to understand that it would be nice if I paid a little)... Too bad, because it's a magical situation. This campsite in no way justifies its 4 stars, it's an average 3 stars.

In Occitania, in the Aveyron department, to be precise in the beautiful valley of Raspes du Tarn, you will find the La Cascade campsite. It is located next to the very pretty village of Saint-Rome-de-Tarn, which has retained its medieval …character. The campsite is part of the Parc naturel des Grands Causses, a huge nature reserve that extends around the Gorges du Tarn, the Larzac plateau and into the south of the Aveyron. It is the ideal starting point for visits to the region's must-see attractions. The La Cascade campsite (so named because of its proximity to the Baumes waterfall) benefits from a truly unique location on the banks of the Tarn, a river full of fish. La Cascade campsite is located on a steep slope that is difficult for people with limited mobility to access, but we are happy to help you find a suitable solution. Swimming in the pool is a great way to relax and unwind... and some evenings you can swim until 10pm! There is also a special area for little ones to splash around and have fun in the water. The outdoor paddling pool is specially designed for them. We offer a wide range of accommodation for your comfort. The chalet houses are ideally located on the upper terraces of the campsite and are very well equipped. At La Cascade campsite, we have a covered municipal stadium that is accessible all year round and can be used in all weather conditions. In the off-season, you will find our inflatable game under the cover of the municipal stadium so that children can enjoy it all year round. The municipal stadium is the venue for sports tournaments. In July and August, our entertainment team offers you weekly tournaments. If you need to do a little shopping in between, there is a grocery store in the village, a 5-minute walk from the campsite. There is also a bakery next door. On site, you will find a snack bar with a terrace by the pool, which offers takeaway meals, a multisport field, water sports, etc.
