- Torsten O.July 2023PozitīviProximity to the beach Swimming pool with slidesNegatīvaisLadies showers somewhat outdated No football pitch for childrenGreat campsite with a short walk to the beachWe were at the campsite with the caravan, 2 E+ 4K + 1 dog in mid-July.
The communication in advance was great. We were given all the important information and every phone call showed that the staff put their heart and soul into their work.
Our pitch (155) had a direct water connection and an electricity... box with 4 connections, which we shared with the neighboring pitch.
The campsite is virtually divided into a one-way street. The entrance is at the reception, the exit at the other end towards the beach. The only way to get to the guarded beach from the campsite is via a cycle path. There is an (unofficial) dog beach 10 minutes away.
As the beach is located in a bay and the Quiberon peninsula is protected, the Atlantic is much calmer here. You can't go surfing, but you can go SUPing.
The small shop within a 10-minute walk has the basics, but they are very expensive. However, there are fresh baguettes (tip: Traditionale) and croissants every morning, which are very reasonably priced.
The restaurant next to the store is great!
Dogs are welcome on the campsite. The sanitary facilities meet French standards and are clean. The women's showers seem to be a bit outdated.
The swimming pool with the two slides is great, the only thing missing is a football/basketball court.
All in all, it's a great place on a great bay.Automātiski tulkots. - Klemens P.June 2023PozitīviClean sanitary facilities, close to the beach, good hiking possibilities, dog-friendly,NegatīvaisNo soap in the sanitary facilities, narrow entrance for large caravansGreat campsiteA really great place, right on the beach of the Gulf of Morbihan. Friendly welcome. We had booked a Premium pitch which was really huge. Electricity, water, waste water, everything available. The sanitary facilities are very clean and were cleaned several times a day. The only thing missing was a soap... dispenser. The pool is very well maintained and supervised. There are gates to the beach, which are open from 8.30 am to 10.30 pm, you can enter with a code. Quiet at night. Gastronomy and baguette service within walking distance.Automātiski tulkots.
- Lars P.June 2023PozitīviGreat location, directly on the beautiful beach of Kervillen, wonderful excursion destinations nearby (Quiberon, Carnac, the Menolithic fields, Auray, Vannes, etc...), quiet location, town only 2 km away with bars, bistros and shops and the large harbor.), quiet location, town only 2 km away, with bars, bistros and stores and the large harbor, good facilities on the pitches, with electricity, water and gray water drainage, kiosk and baguette service within walking distance, pool and water slides available, sanitary facilities separated by gender, grounds partly landscaped, many pitches surrounded by high hedges, great restaurant right on the beachNegatīvaisNarrow paths, one-way system on the site, very narrow entrance, no waiting lane for registration, some small pitches, sanitary facilities not always clean, some old, exit at the lower part of the site via a narrow and unpaved path, some pitches between mobile homes, Access only possible via side roads through residential areaCamping in southern Brittany, in the beautiful resort of Trinité-sur-MerWe stayed at the CP de la Plage in Kervillen, near Trinité-sur-Mer, from mid-June and really enjoyed it. The campsite has a wonderful location, right by the sea with a wonderful sandy beach in front of it. We asked for a reservation on arrival, 3 days before arrival, and were given a nice large pitch... in the upper area. As we wanted to extend our stay, we had to move to another pitch after 6 nights, which was no problem.
Departure times are relaxed, until 12:00 on the day of departure. Barrier times from 08:00 to 22:30, after which access is only possible through a personal door with a door code.
The campsite is partly landscaped and all pitches are mowed on departure and some of the hedges are trimmed. Some pitches are rather small (around 80 square meters) and not suitable for double-axle vehicles or large motorhomes. Not all pitches are level, some are sloping towards the sea. High hedges border the individual rows of pitches, some of which are surrounded by trees. Fresh water and gray water drainage as well as electricity are available at most pitches. The two wash houses are functional but partly outdated. Showers are warm, but sometimes with little water pressure at peak times. Toilets are separated by gender, with toilet seats, paper and soap and therefore above the French standard. However, some hygiene problems are also caused by the guests and cannot be blamed on the operator. The toilets are only cleaned once a day (at least in low season). The WLAN is subject to a charge and is sometimes a bit choppy.
From Camping de la Plage you can easily reach the many great excursion destinations in the region by bike, car or public transport. Auray, Carnac or Quiberon are only 20-30 minutes away by car. Trinité-sur-Mer also offers a colorful scenery during the day and in the evening, which invites you to stroll and discover.
We can highly recommend the campsite and the good restaurant on the beach.Automātiski tulkots. - Barbara W.September 2019PozitīviGreat location, mudflat walk in the bay, wonderful sandy beach, lots of walking opportunities, good restaurant nearby. We will be back!NegatīvaisNoneDream place on a dream beachVery friendly welcome (we were guided to the pitch by bike), right on the beach, very clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities, dog shower with warm! water. Great restaurant and store 5 minutes' walk away. Walk to "La Trinite s. Mer" approx. 45 min - a nice trip to see the fantastic trimarans in the harbor!Automātiski tulkots.
- Martin H.August 2019PozitīviQuiet, many leisure activities (mini golf, billiard golf, table tennis, pool, slides, ...nice staffNegatīvaisSometimes a bit narrow and difficult to maneuverBeautiful placeBeautiful campsite on the south coast of Brittany. The site must be entered through a narrow stone gate. The site is then a one-way street. The pitches lead off the road in several cul-de-sacs. Showers are great - hot and plenty of water. Toilets are clean, there is toilet paper and soap. Electricity,... water and waste water are directly on the pitch. The pitch is right by the sea with no road in between. All in all, one of the best places we have stayed in 4 weeks in Brittany.Automātiski tulkots.
- Roland L.May 2019PozitīviDirect beach locationNegatīvaisAvoid parking spaces on the streetStay in the low seasonWe arrived without booking in advance at the beginning of May and were greeted in a very friendly manner - they also spoke German. We were able to choose a pitch without any complications and found a very nice pitch in the second row. All the pitches are really big enough and there are no mobile homes... - which I personally like. The direct location on the beach with a view of St. Tropez is great. There is a supermarket for fresh baguettes and the essentials and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Many excursion possibilities nearby. But please avoid the pitches on the road. It's very noisy there - but it's quiet on the other pitches. The sanitary facilities have been overhauled and we were satisfied. You have to specify the amount of electricity you want in advance, which is a bit difficult for me, but was ok in the end. Price per night without electricity € 30.00 - We will definitely be back.Automātiski tulkots.
- J. M.July 2015PozitīviLocation on the beach, many good excursion possibilities, partly organized, very friendly, German-speaking staffNegatīvaisPitches and space rather cramped, Swimming pool very smallNice place on the beach, a bit narrowPLACE: Direct access to a beautiful beach. Sometimes a lot of algae on the beach, seems to depend on the weather/wind conditions. ------------- Relatively small pitch, grass very dry, no shade. Our pitch was directly opposite the sanitary building, so there was a lot of "traffic"/rest from campers walking... past, next to us and opposite were rental accommodations, which also made us feel a bit crowded. -------------- Narrow entrance (brick archway) to the campsite, narrow exit through a metal gate onto a dirt track. On our exit (car + wide, long camper van) we were only able to get through the gate with the help of the mover, despite many nice and helpful campers. There were also people "stuck" before and after us. -------------- Mini store with bread rolls at the neighboring campsite (quite a long walk in the rain). ------------- RECEPTION: Good information brochure, also in German. Nice staff, German-speaking. -------------- SANITARY: 2 toilet blocks, we can only report on one. This was ok, partly renovated (showers/toilets). Clean after cleaning. Toilet paper, soap, hand dryer available. Single washing cubicles available, still older. Sufficient number of toilets, showers and wash cubicles. ------------ There didn't seem to be any hot showers in the second wash house, at least at times. Everything was ok for us. --------------- SWIMMING POOL: Quite small, sometimes very crowded, but ok. Heated, loungers. Closed at lunchtime and from 18.30 due to complaints from local residents. We were offered free use of the mini golf at lunchtime. Slides good, our son had a lot of fun. There are 2 showers in the pool, 1 of which was broken, the other one was only ice cold. -------------- KIDS: Unfortunately no entertainment or mini disco. Playground not bad, but not centrally located, so not very busy. Supervised activities / excursions several times a week: Excursion to the Golfe du Morbihan was well organized.Automātiski tulkots.
- Peter T.August 2014PozitīviDirect beach access, plots separated from neighbors by bushes and shrubs, children's entertainment and other facilities for childrenNegatīvaisin principle very good sanitary facilities, however a blocked urinal was not recognized for almost 1 1/2 weeks (with corresponding consequences)Expensive with relatively high comfort, but great lack of cleanliness sanitary facilitiesVery nice campsite located close to Le Trinity sur Mer (approx. 15 min. on foot) directly on the beach. Sufficiently large pitches (approx. 80 - 100 m²) separated by bushes etc. offer a little privacy from the neighbors. The swimming pool with slide was mainly used by children (with their parents). Although... the sanitary facilities were cleaned twice a day, neither the cleaning staff nor the other campsite staff noticed that one of the men's urinals was blocked for more than a week until our departure and kept overflowing, which not only made the floor disgusting but also caused unpleasant odors. In my opinion, the campsite is too expensive for what it has to offer in terms of comfort.Automātiski tulkots.
- Astrid H.July 2013CP located directly on the beach (beautiful bay). The well-kept pitches, separated by hedges, are large enough, but some have a relatively narrow access road. Various excursion possibilities nearby, see CP homepage. Some of the sanitary facilities are no longer brand new, but were always clean. The beautiful... marina of La Trinite sur Mer is easy to reach on foot (very nice coastal footpath or directly through the residential area). There is also a free shuttle bus from the campsite to the harbor, at least in the summer months. There are various restaurants, bakeries, stores and a supermarket in the village. There are several supermarkets in Carnac (approx. 3 km). Cycling is possible, but we didn't find it all that great and didn't go on quite as many tours. However, we are very spoiled in this respect by Münsterland and Holland. All in all, we enjoyed Brittany and this campsite and are considering coming back again.Automātiski tulkots.
- Volker L.June 2010Beautifully situated campsite. Friendly welcome, clean sanitary facilities. The pitches are separated by hedges. Access to the pitches is relatively narrow for caravans with large caravans. The campsite has direct access to the clean and very beautiful beach. The campsite also has an outdoor pool in... the entrance area, but unfortunately this is closed at lunchtime until 15:00 to protect the neighbors from noise pollution. There are lots of things to do in the area around the campsite, and you can also explore the area by bike without too much effort. I can highly recommend this campsite.Automātiski tulkots.
