There is no small store where you can buy drinks and basic foodstuffs.
Very nice place
A very cozy and clean campsite with
modern sanitary facilities. The pitches are very spacious. The campsite operators are very friendly. We were there for 8 days and felt very comfortable and would only choose this campsite in the area.

Daily lawn mowing is annoying
Medium-sized course under family management
As the North Sea is practically on our doorstep, we often go there to get a breath of fresh sea air. We have already visited several campsites on the Dutch North Sea, but we are always drawn back here. This is the fourth time we have camped here and we don't like it as much as we used to. The owners... are very helpful and friendly. The site is simple and very well maintained. Too well-kept for us. We would prefer it to be more natural. All pitches are on grass, have electricity, are not parceled out and are spacious. There is also space for large caravans. Sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. The site is the most south-westerly in the Netherlands and borders directly on a large nature reserve in the direction of Belgium with lots of storks. They are sometimes guests at the campsite and love cheese. An ideal starting point for cycling tours and beach walks. Knocke Heist is about 30 minutes by bike. The beach is about a 10-minute walk. A canal between the campsite and the beach is ideal for fishing. The campsite is relatively quiet as it is set back and is highly recommended for those seeking relaxation. There is a large meadow for young people to camp on.

As a group consisting of one adult and two teenagers, we were not allowed onto the pitch, which was also quite loud and unrelaxing due to the many children. Not recommended.

Great well-kept place with very nice owners.

Very nice, well-kept site with spacious pitches on a well-kept lawn near the Het Zwin nature reserve. It is about 5 minutes by bike to a viewpoint by the sea and about 10 minutes by bike to the main beach with a beach restaurant. Before that there are already some possibilities to get to the beach. Owners... very nice, we arrived outside the opening hours of the reception and were still greeted very friendly, got a place and everything was explained exactly (e.g. how to get to the beach) Sanitary was very clean, there were in our area 2 showers with 0.50Euro coin slot and a shower with 0.20Euro coin slot, shower but without the possibility to adjust the temperature. Unfortunately, money also had to be inserted for rinsing. Bread rolls could be pre-ordered, as well as smoothies which were freshly prepared in the teahouse in the morning. Free WLAN. The site is beautifully laid out and well-kept, especially for children there are lots of areas to play, there is a giant trampoline near the teahouse and there are many "driving devices" such as Kettcar etc. available, there is also a large rope slide. Cows graze right next to the site, there are sheep and at night you can hear frogs (they didn't bother us) and a stork came to breakfast right next to our site. The towns of Retranchement and Cadzand-Bad with a few restaurants are not far away. Unfortunately we could only stay 1 night due to time constraints, but the next time we are in this area we will definitely return to this campsite.
