Motorhomes are charged, holidaymakers are charged individually, visitors and cars cost extra, electricity is incredibly expensive and costs a tenth of what you pay1-2 amps. The electrician is incredibly arrogant, puts himself above you, knows everything better and in the end isn't even really right. If we'd had a choice, we wouldn't have gone there, let alone stayed. We were squeezed in where a caravan could just about fit, with the 2m awning it was really tight. 240m awning: no chance. Even though I had to pay extra for it. That's not possible! This is perhaps... acceptable for motorhome drivers, who can drive away quickly in the event of a fire - with caravans, this is generally not possible on an ad hoc basis. In any case, it's far too criminal for me, so for caravan campers it's only suitable as a transit / overnight accommodation option. Unfortunately, the atmosphere has not changed for the better since the last change of operator.
Flexibility now seems to be a foreign word.
On our last visit, we asked to be allowed to leave late in the afternoon... because of a birthday party (for a fee, of course). This was categorically refused with reference to the upcoming fully booked weekend and the guests arriving. We were therefore forced to park the caravan nearby for the afternoon hours. When we picked up the caravan in the evening, the pitch was far from full; it would have been no problem to leave it there.
The former feel-good character had been lost and given way to a business-like friendliness. This was not as noisy as other campers here rated it, at least at the weekend.
The site is clean, as are the sanitary facilities, although they reach their capacity limits when full.

Metal stairs outside to the sanitary facilities. No play equipment for children.Perfect for a short tripWe stayed on the pitch for one night. That was perfectly fine. The highway nearby can be heard at night. But it was fine. Other traffic noise only came from the Rhine boatmen. The location is otherwise very idyllic and the city center easily accessible. The sanitary facilities were OK. Unfortunately... no paper towels or dryers at the toilets. The rest was OK. The operators are very friendly. Unfortunately there are no play facilities for children. We spent a weekend there, were warmly welcomed and enjoyed the days very much.
There is a kiosk with the necessary things,
Bread roll service, Kölsch (Schreckenskammer Kölsch ..... delicious)
The sanitary... facilities are ok, but in my opinion there is not enough capacity when the site is full.
If you don't want to cook, the Poller Fischhaus, diagonally opposite, is a good choice.
We would love to come back

The receptionist explained to the camper who was looking for a pitch in front of us that he couldn't choose the pitch himself. He was eventually allocated a pitch. When I then explained that we wanted to have... a look at the site as we would be coming next year, we were told quite gruffly that there was nothing to see. The answer was: then go and have a look. My wife went to the toilet while we were waiting, not only to pee but also to have a look at the sanitary facilities. As I was waiting for her to come in, the woman at reception called after me to ask if my wife was in the toilet. She finally accused me of saying that we had only come to the campsite to go to the toilet and demanded 50 cents. Watch out: I'm not going to go to the trouble of driving all the way to the campsite to go to the toilet! In any case, we will not be visiting the campsite due to the unfriendliness and rudeness of the woman at reception, which almost bordered on cheekiness, and cannot recommend it. The sanitary facilities are also getting on in years and the Rodenkirchen bridge in the immediate vicinity is clearly audible.Automātiski tulkots.

View on the Rhine, close to the center of Köln, very clean toilets and showerscabines. Also a place to cook. For children not much to do on the camping itself. Just outside the Camping there is a restaurant you can have a good dinner, or have a nice drink with people. The cleanliness of the showers and toilets could be significantly improved. If you like spiders and flies, the sanitary room is the right place for you.
