Located directly on the banks of the Sauer, very family-friendly, in the middle of nature. Many hiking and cycling tours possible directly from the campsite. Many water sports possible. Very friendly staff and top sanitary facilities, which are very clean.

Simply a very clean campsite
It is a very clean and family-friendly campsite. Located directly on the banks of the Sûre and surrounded by beautiful nature. Not far from the Mullerthal, Luxembourg's little Switzerland.

Clean & ok bathrooms inside the receptionbuilding, good grassarea right next to the river for tents. You can park your car next to your tent. There's a bar/restaurant at the area.

Nice place for camping with a tent
Stayed for one night in a tent. Quite nice area next to the river. It was nice to also sit for a while at the bar's terrace instead of just on the grass. Would go again to this camping area.

Stay at the CP du Barrage in May 2021
The operator is very nice and explained all the important things to us in detail. We were also able to change our pitch in between when a pitch by the river became available.
The site is more suitable for groups, as parties can go on into the night without any problems. If you like that or don't mind... it, you're in good hands here. However, it robbed us of our sleep. However, the good location makes up for a lot.
The fire facilities were nice (renting a fire basket and buying wood), which is rarely possible on a campsite.
Unfortunately, there was no soap dispenser in the sanitary facilities, which is not very hygienic. The hand dryers were also all defective.
There are 3 trampolines and other play equipment for children.

The sour for swimming.
Beautiful place!!!
We are repeat offenders!!!!!! Beautiful campsite located directly on the Sauer and we were able to jump into the cool water. Directly at the campsite is a nice park to relax. The sanitary facilities are super clean!!!

Beautiful place
We were in the Pentecost vacation week on the place without reservation a nice place on the Sauer getomen.place itself was big enough and clean.only the swans have already done their legacies on our place and on the jetty on the river were also piles of the swans and ducks that could have been removed... in between.because the place itself was very clean as well as the sanitary facilities.what can also be due to the fact that one came only with a chip to the toilets and showers, which I found good.To shower you also had to hold the chip on it and could shower for 5 minutes which is enough.staff very nice.since the place is right on the German border you were quickly in Germany.there were no shopping facilities on the square but in Echternach you were quick by car in the shopping center at Rewe got everything super grilled meat at fair prices and Echternach itself is very nice to stroll around Will definitely come back.

Nice campsite, clean sanitary building
The staff were friendly. We were able to choose our pitch. A small swimming pool and a snack bar are open during the season. The pitches are spacious. A baker comes to the site in the morning around 8 am with fresh baked goods. In the afternoon, the ice cream man comes. Shopping can be done about 8 km... away. If you like peace and quiet, you should not camp by the bridge. There is a beautiful park next to the campsite. Ideal starting point for cycling tours, hiking in the Müllerthal and various city tours.

Beautifully situated and well-kept place
Site just outside the village above a weir on the River Sûre. Well-kept site with a large number of permanent campers. We only stayed overnight, but can also imagine a longer stay. A recommended site if you are looking for some peace and quiet away from the tourist hustle and bustle.

Very nice place characterized by Dutch people. Nice staff. Beautiful pitches directly on the reservoir. Dogs no problem. Lots of hiking opportunities. Have been to the site several times.

Super, new sanitary facilities, great price - performance ratio. Located directly on the Sauer and the connection to other places I find optimal. There will even be an outdoor pool soon.
