Showers cost 50 cents for about 6 minutes. Perfectly adequate and I was happy to pay that for the clean sanitary facilities.
There is enough hot water to wash the dishes. I think that's ok when you see how some people on other campsites leave the water running the whole time... when washing up.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
There is a racecourse next door. It's busy from 7.30am, but that didn't bother us.
Good starting point for cycling tours to The Hague and surroundings.
For a trip by car to Rotterdam or other cities you should book a parking garage ticket online. The day ticket costs about 12 € . Otherwise it will be expensive.

The pitches are the pitches and the grandstand is the access road and parking lot.
Theoretically, the pitches are grassy areas. If your predecessor had laid out a tent or a carpet table for a week, there is of course only dirt.... And there is no shade on the pitch.
There is a mini market, which also has a bread roll service. And there is a restaurant, but we didn't go there, so we can't say anything about it.
The sanitary facilities were always clean. What was new for us was that there were shower cubicles for everyone in one room and the washbasins in front of them were also for everyone. So no separation of male and female. The reception was very friendly. The pitches are large, level and have their own water connection. The sanitary facilities are adequate and clean. The showers and hot water for washing dishes cost 50 cents. The city center of The Hague... can be reached by bike in about 20 minutes. A supermarket is about 2 km away. Trips to Scheveningen or Delft can be made by bike, but are also easy to manage with a day ticket for public transport.Automātiski tulkots.

But the best thing is the cycle paths everywhere. The Hague, Leiden and beautiful Delft can be reached... within a maximum radius of 15 km via a very good network of cycle paths. The Hague is only about 4 km away. We really enjoyed the many museums and the flair there.Automātiski tulkots.

Great starting point for The Hague, Scheveningen and Delft. As usual in the Netherlands, great cycle paths directly from the campsite. Directly at the garbage station that smells.Cycling visitOverall the stay was ok but during my bike tour it was the "worst" of our 5 campsites and was the most expensive: The hot water shower costs extra, but the water stayed cold. Certainly an exception, but still annoying. The ratio of visitors to sanitary facilities was not good. There is no seating at... the tents, some benches with tables that would make camping more pleasant. Everything has quite a high extra cost, although the overnight cost for two very small tents was very high. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it as it's too crowded and too expensive for me. We received a very friendly welcome from the site staff, who also speak German and English. The site consists of two sections, namely one part which is located in a wooded area and a second part which consists... of a very large meadow. But that also means a lot of shade, or none at all. The site has a swimming pool, tennis court, soccer pitch, volleyball court, large playground and a kind of outdoor fitness area with fitness equipment. Small supermarket with bread rolls and restaurant on site. We had a good meal in the restaurant. Showers cost 50 cents, washing up 20 cents. This doesn't seem to be unusual in Holland. We experienced several times on our round trip that we had to pay for this service. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained, just as the whole site makes a very well-kept impression. There are pitches in various sizes and price categories. The pitches on the meadow have water, waste water and satellite connections. On the pitches on the meadow you can hear the road and of course a site with so many sports facilities also produces its own noise. Someone with a pronounced need for peace and quiet should therefore not choose this pitch. For everyone else, there is a clear recommendation.Automātiski tulkots.
- Ingo R.June 2018Good, clean and well maintained.We are currently on the 'Mittelplatz', which has obviously been newly planted and landscaped. The sanitary facilities (central square) are clean and new. They are cleaned several times a day. Additional costs: showers 50cents for 6 minutes, hot rinse water 20cents, WiFi 1€ for 24 hours (good and stable... 12MBit+). We cycled a lot to Scheweningen beach and The Hague. As usual for the Netherlands, an excellent road network. It is true that traffic noise can be heard. That's why we only gave the quietness an average rating. Conclusion: good campsite. We absolutely cannot agree with the one-star rating (May 2018)!Automātiski tulkots.

- Marcel K.April 2017Super placeHello we were very excited that was our alternative place because another was occupied. I am very happy that it was occupied because the place is really great. Great sanitary facilities great pitches and a good restaurant the playground is great and clear place no long searching and unnecessary driving... around with the caravan in tow. From 10pm it was quiet, no youth groups turning night into day anywhere. To The Hague to the center about 15min by car and to the beach about 15min. A disadvantage has the place he is located in a one-way street ie only complicated to reach via a highway where the place has its own exit but well you understand quickly and then you do not care. On the central pitch, which was probably used as a sports field in the past, there is a very well-kept lawn. As you can see in the previous reports, there are many leisure activities... on offer. For example, we explored the cities of The Hague (only 5 km to the city center) and Delft (great canal city) by bike. We also visited the beach in Scheveningen, which is really great. You have to pay 50 cents for hot showers at the campsite. I find the 20 cent charge for washing up almost outrageous. Nevertheless, the sanitary facilities are always clean and very well maintained. There is a very nice free swimming pool. The price-performance ratio is ok. The free WLAN was almost unusable (overload?)Automātiski tulkots.
