You notice this immediately at the "reception": you are asked what you want with an aggressive undertone. No hello, good day, wish you well or anything similar. The site operator meticulously monitors everything that goes on here... (VIDEO MONITORING!). An additional video record is often made with the cell phone and the guest is then accused of misconduct. You won't hear a "please" or "thank you" here. Payment by EC card? Not a chance. There's a snappy slogan for that. For a relaxing vacation, I prefer to go to nearby places that know what decency and friendliness mean.Automātiski tulkots.

A small but very nice place that is absolutely recommended for those seeking peace and quiet. We liked the friendliness of the operator very much, you notice immediately that he is very eager - which is also reflected in the cleanliness of the place.... We also found the sanitary facilities to be in a clean condition. The prices in the small cozy kiosk are not exaggerated, we were rather surprised at the low prices. An absolute paradise for dog owners, or rather for dogs. The reception is not in the campinf itself. Access to the sanitary facilities is a long way off, as they are at reception and serve both the regular residents, who are up high, and the tourists passing through, who are placed on a large... field along a river. To get to the campsite, you have to cross the municipal swimming pool parking lot. The terrain is healthy, as it has been "mined" by moles...Automātiski tulkots.
- Patrick F.March 2015Pozitīviwell suited for recreation seekers - hikers - mountain bikers - dog owners dog ownersNegatīvaisIn my opinion, there are no disadvantages on this courseRecommended campsite for those seeking peace and quietI stayed at this campsite for a week in March 2015 and - although it was still officially closed - the operator opened the campsite just for me and my two dogs and I enjoyed our time there. The operators of the site - the Neumann family - are very nice and helpful. The sanitary facilities are clean and... tidy. Electricity connections are available on both parts of the site. There is a bistro with outdoor seating. Butchers/bakers are about 400 m away and in Furth there is Lidl/Netto and other stores. Directly behind the border (approx. 3km) to the Czech Republic there are several gas stations (cheap gasoline-diesel e.g. 1,10€) cigarettes e.g. with banderole-original WEST-200 pcs. for 28,00€) and Asia-markets, which offer clothes/shoes/bags/etc. at a reasonable price. Directly behind the campsite is a huge area of meadows and woods that are ideal for hiking and cycling. Dogs can swim to their heart's content in the crystal-clear river. For anyone looking for peace and relaxation, I can recommend this campsite without reservation. It was not the last time I stayed hereAutomātiski tulkots.
- Christina H.August 2013The camping site right next to the outdoor pool is ideal for us, 2 adults with grandchildren and dogs. There is plenty for the kids to explore nearby and the dogs are welcome. The site is very quiet, but you can still let off steam :-). We don't use the sanitary facilities, so no details (Womo) If you come for the Mittellterfest or the Drachenstich you should book in advance. The place is packed.Automātiski tulkots.
- Florian W.August 2013A small but nice family-run campsite. It is very quiet, only the odd passing sports car or motorcyclist disturbs the silence. It remains to be seen what effect the expressway under construction about 600m away as the crow flies will have on the noise level over the next few years. The almost directly... adjacent swimming pool and the nearby natural animal park are ideal leisure activities. The walk to the nearest supermarket is a bit long, but is no problem by bike or car. The site is very clean, I don't think the division into 2 pitch areas is bad in principle, but there are fewer pitches on the upper meadow closer to the sanitary building and some of them are occupied by permanent campers, which doesn't make it easy to get a free pitch there. The lower area is larger, but directly adjacent to the parking lot of the outdoor pool, and the sanitary building can only be reached via a staircase and subsequent road crossing. The sanitary facilities are adequate when the site is normally occupied, but on the weekend we were there, the annual medieval festival "Cave Gladium" - which is also well worth seeing - was taking place. As a result, the site was overcrowded and the meadow intended for tent campers sometimes looked more like a festival. Accordingly, the rush to the sanitary facilities was very large and also the toilets and showers looked partly very used, although the operator was obviously trying to keep them clean, if something did not fit then it was rather due to the using clientele :/ . If you avoided the peak times, however, there were no problems at all, so no negative point for me. A big plus for us was the very good and inexpensive catering by the CP operator, which I can only recommend. Next time we'll take less food with us and stop in more often. All in all, we were pleasantly surprised by the small and inexpensive campsite and will definitely be back for a few days next year. If possible for a little longer :)Automātiski tulkots.
