"Best campsite in Germany - Attention! Do NOT pay attention to comments, check other forums. Contrary to the other review, I am simply blown away. By far the best place in Germany in terms of staff, professionalism, price and facilities, period. After an overheard conversation, it turned out that former permanent campers (had to leave because the site was built improperly and the operator was attacked) deliberately set themselves the task of damaging the operator with false reviews. So please be careful which reviews you trust...

"Nice but... - Family 2+1 with tent - 10 nights - 583 € Advantages: beautiful lake, green all around, many excursion possibilities, large pitches, entertainment Disadvantages: - At short notice we were suggested a change of pitch in favor of other guests. We agreed by telephone, but unfortunately the new pitch was not ideal. Very impractical, sloping, so pitching the tent was a real challenge. - Few sanitary facilities, long distances to the toilet - Very dirty and cramped toilets - The entire infrastructure is very old and in need of renovation - As the campsite is right on the road, it is very noisy and you can't get used to it. - Very expensive mini market, you could almost go broke Conclusion: Too expensive and unfortunately this was our last stay at this campsite.

"No longer worth 5 stars! - We stayed for 10 days in July at the Teichmann campsite, where we have spent our vacation at least once a year for 6 years. We were shocked to discover that 3/4 of the permanent campers were no longer there and most of the pitches were very dilapidated. Open electricity boxes, roofs have fallen over etc. which is very dangerous for children. Allegedly because of fire safety regulations? There are now cameras all over the campsite and the midday rest period is not observed either. It used to be a very nice campsite, but after the operator changed, it can no longer be recommended. Far too overpriced. We were there for the last time.

"Super place - The site was very well maintained and everything was clean. There were lots of other young people on the group meadow with whom you could do lots of things. In addition, the night watchmen and the security guard Drini were super helpful, understanding and humorous. We will definitely be back.

Profils

The camping and holiday park is centrally located in Germany, directly at the national park and at the beginning of the Edersee. Surrounded by greenery and well looked after. With family or friends. With a tent, caravan or camper van. …Our campsite offers a variety of options around the lake. We also warmly welcome young people, groups and clubs to our separate meadows during the summer season. The well-kept facility has modern and lovingly designed wash houses with every comfort. The pitches are approximately 10 x 10 metres in size and can be used for tents, motorhomes or caravans. Standard pitches have an electricity connection. Comfort pitches also have water and waste water connections. There is plenty to discover and experience here, whether on the extensive grounds, in the midst of beautiful nature, or at the on-site bathing lake. With kayaking, canoeing, swimming, jumping, or splashing, water is fascinating and invites you to dive in and relax. Around our approximately 6-hectare lake, there are also many opportunities for fishing. During the school holidays, we offer a varied leisure programme every day. Before and after, as well as on long and busy weekends, a reduced entertainment programme is available. Our younger guests can play and do arts and crafts in the mini club in the morning. Depending on the week and day of the week, exciting activities such as baking bread on a stick, pony rides, torchlight hikes, archery in midsummer and much more take place in the afternoons and evenings. You will find our self-service restaurant, the Seehütte, right at the entrance to the site. It offers a wide selection of delicious dishes. The NATIONALPARKHAUS is located directly opposite the holiday park. It offers regional dishes and a hearty breakfast buffet. Our mini-market stocks bread rolls, pastries and everything you need for your holiday shopping. The campsite has several wash houses. There you will find washrooms, showers, toilets, wash cubicles, family bathrooms, children's toilets and washbasins, nappy-changing rooms, barrier-free sanitary facilities, cooking and cooling facilities, washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, waste water drains, our camping butler and much more.
