- Esther V.September 2020PozitīviThe equipment, especially a good mattress. Short distances to the sanitary facilities. Central - many things easy to reach by bike (or bus). Surroundings, especially Lake Chauma and the Flims waterwayNegatīvaisnoneA wonderfully relaxed placeI rented a pod for four nights and I really liked it in/around it. So good that it's almost a shame when you're out and about all day.
The operators are super nice and you also get very helpful answers to specific questions. The rebooking due to the lockdown was also completely uncomplicated. I particularly... liked the fact that you could order fresh, delicious bread for breakfast. And there was really nothing to complain about.
The surrounding area has so much to offer that I will fortunately have to come back:))Automātiski tulkots. - Frank H.September 2020PozitīviSurroundingsNegatīvaisFriendliness at receptionyou could be friendlierWe wanted to check in at the campsite on 04.09.20. When we asked if we had a reservation, which unfortunately we could only answer in the negative, all we got was "then no" from the obviously unmotivated woman at reception. No "I'm sorry", no reference to other places in the area or anything else. We... drove 7km back to Trin, received a friendly welcome, were given a very nice pitch and were able to do the same excursions that we had planned from Flims.
I don't understand how a campsite can present itself so attractively on its homepage and then turn people down like that.
Especially as the campsites in Switzerland don't necessarily offer much for the money compared to most of the rest of Europe.Automātiski tulkots. - Tamas T.August 2020Pozitīviproximity to the Rhine Gorge and Lake GaumaNegatīvaisPitch is actually a sports field without shadeBad place in GRWe were allocated a pitch on the meadow by the sports center and had to use the wash containers for showers (mass showers without privacy) and toilets. Washing up was not possible for a few days. The washing containers were not cleaned during our entire stay and looked accordingly. There was no hot water and no light at night.
We left early!Automātiski tulkots. - Sybille W.June 2020PozitīviProximity to Lake CaumaNegatīvaisPitches that have not been publicly published.false impressionWe were directed to the meadow at the sports center and had to use the facility for showering (mass showers without privacy), toilets and washing up (one washing-up trough). However, this is outdated and at night we had one toilet per gender available, during the day the public toilets of the sports... center (also for visitors minigolf, climbing park ...) were open.
Despite booking, we were not informed about this and it was not visible on the homepage.Automātiski tulkots. - Andrea Z.October 2019Pozitīvi- Friendly operators - Child-friendly - dog friendly - great view - very clean facilities, well-kept place - good adviceNegatīvais- noneQuiet, small campsite with a heartWe were there for 3 nights in the fall vacations 2019. Our children (2, 9 and 10 years) never found it boring (there is no playground). We were on pitch 12 directly in front of the reception. The operators were always very friendly. From 12 - 15.00 o'clock the reception was not occupied. However, there... is a list outside with the allocated pitches. We paid 172.00 Fr. for 2 adults, 3 children with WW and a dog (3 nights & 1 during the day). Bread rolls can be ordered until 18.00 the day before. The restaurant offers breakfast, ice cream and drinks. The sanitary facilities are a little older - but very, very clean and well maintained. The post bus stops just above the campsite on the main road. For shopping you need a bike, car or post bus. Volg and Coop are on the post bus route. Unlike other guests, we did not find the road disturbing at all. We can highly recommend the place.Automātiski tulkots.
- Michael R.July 2017PozitīviGood base for excursions in the region. Good adviceNegatīvaisBad motion detector in the shower. Water trough on the tent meadow is disgusting because of rotten foodTop starting point to explore the Rhine GorgeA simple camping site that is mainly characterized by permanent campers. There are very few tourist pitches and a tent meadow. Most of the pitches are very small and some have no view at all. The sanitary facilities are as good as new and clean. The poor switch-on quality of the motion detectors in the... bathroom is annoying. It's easy to find yourself in the dark. Reception is friendly and helpful and happy to offer advice. There is a trough at the edge of the large tent meadow which is fed with fresh water. The campers use this trough for cooling, but forget to take the food out again: disgusting what I saw there and the management doesn't intervene! Hence the poor rating for 'Overall cleanliness'Automātiski tulkots.
- Christian und Katja H.July 2015We will be backWe were there in 2015 with our 3-year-old daughter and caravan. It was wonderful, right next to the sports facilities. The playground within sight, trampoline, slackline...great starting point for mountain bike tours and lake nearby. Nice people and friendly staff! We will be back!Automātiski tulkots.

- Peter H.August 2013Actually a wonderful place, close to Flims as a wonderful starting point for hikes. Lake Cresta, Lake Cauma and the Flims landslide are just around the corner. Unfortunately, we made a bit of a mistake with the pitches. There is a nice sports center below the campsite, but we were sent to the meadow... in front of it and you just camp there on bare grass, without trees or bushes. Unfortunately, the adjacent football pitch and the high ropes course are annoying. There are nice, shady pitches on the actual site of the campsite, but the meadow in front of the sports center is probably more of a temporary solution. Furthermore, it's a 300m walk from there to the actual toilets. It's a shame, it's actually a nice place with nice staff, but their provisional pitches should disappear.Automātiski tulkots.
- Lilian E.March 2013The campsite is located on the road connecting Laax and Flims, and there is a local bus stop right next to the campsite. We were there for skiing, so we practically didn't need the car. In winter, of course, there are de facto no opportunities to do anything directly at a campsite (starting with the... playground), so we can't say anything about that. The Wi-Fi only works at the pitches right next to the reception, which form a large parking lot in the bend of the road with an electricity column in the middle. Would certainly not be so nice in summer, but in winter it didn't matter that the pitches are not separated, as you are in the caravan anyway. It was nice that a water hose suitable for winter was available at the reception building, so you didn't have to carry the fresh water. Bread rolls and a few other groceries are available to order in advance at reception, but there is no real store like at large campsites. In Flims, 3 bus stops away, there are of course supermarkets, so you can quickly buy a few things on the way back from the lift.Automātiski tulkots.
- Ekkehard B.September 2012Yes, the campsite is directly below the road. However, I hardly heard the cars - perhaps because the sound doesn't travel down around the corner so well. Flims is a little more expensive than other campsites. Apart from that, the pitch for the tents was flat, the people there are super nice and the sanitary... facilities are in excellent condition. ↵ When a camper arrived at 2.30 a.m. and pitched his tent, I found it surprising, but was able to combine it with a visit to the toilet. But the site was actually quite empty at this time of year with only 3 tents. ↵ They now have 3 POD houses there, which you can also rent by the day (instead of camping). podhouse.ch I don't know the company, but the houses there are certainly an innovative plus point for the campsite.Automātiski tulkots.
