We hVe stayed in over ten campsites in Turkey so far and this was the most expensive by far at 75 lira per night. I have no problem paying for what I get but I did not get what I paid for here. There was only hot water when the sun had been out, meaning no morning showers, the toilet blocks were simple... and needed freshening up. The cafe area was pretty and the panoramic view amazing. The owner was helpful, always making sure we had what we needed. Overall a good campsite with kitchen and so on, but just overpriced for what it is. Maybe would be cheaper in peak season as we went when all other campsites in the area were closed. Maybe he was taking advantage of this. Overall good but not great, and wifi connection was best yet!

Fantastic campsite and super-friendly manager
We found this campsite by chance as we drove around Goreme. Its location overlooking the town is fantastic and the facilities, whilst not amazing, are perfectly adequate. The lounge area with views over the valley is a superb spot to relax during the heat of the day. Ahmed the manager (son of the owners)... is one of the friendliest people you'll meet and will help you out with any requests or information on the local area. He really makes this place. The campsite is also the perfect place to watch the Balloons drift over the valley at sunrise, pretty much eliminating the need to actually go up in a balloon at all! Save €130+ by watching from here rather than fighting 23 other people in a cramped balloon for that perfect photo!

Unfortunately this camp site was our very worst experience of camping in Turkey. Hot water was available only in morning (no hot water if the sun doesn't shine!), sanitary facilities and wash blocks were dirty, rental accommodation overpriced. They have swimming pool but it was dirty. Owner could be aggressive if you complain.
