Great location, very clean, friendly staff, good pitches
On arrival very friendly staff, very clean, sanitary only two showers (second building was still closed, there - 3 grd and no guests except us two with WoWa. Electricity limited to 4 KW, but ok. The best thing was the cone card for bus and train (95 lines free of charge), which was included in the tourist tax, so we traveled free of charge to Basel, just great!!!!

You can't get any closer to the elevator...
This week we went to the Black Forest, which was actually unknown to us, with a campsite at an altitude of 1050 meters. The Hochschwarzwald campsite is highly recommended. If you like skiing, you couldn't be closer to a lift. This is on the other side of the road. This time we had another person with us, who stayed in the campsite's own rental caravan. This was a slightly older Fendt Diamant.

Solid, beautifully situated campsite on the ski slope
Nice location, ski lifts right next to the CP was ideal for our 2 children. No wellness or frills, but everything you need, including a small drying room for skis, 1 family bathroom, bread service, restaurant with home cooking (burgers were good). The Dutch manager was nice and helpful, even when I had...

    A winter dream...
We had a seasonal pitch in the 2018/2019 season and felt very comfortable. The location was perfect for skiing 🎿. Our 3 boys (aged 7, 9 and 11) enjoyed the slopes. The operators are very attentive and friendly. We also visited the restaurant often. Super nice there too and the burger was great. There's...

Nice area with noisy street next door
The campsite is actually in a nice location if there wasn't a noisy road right next door. Overall, the campsite made a neat, nice impression. Friendly reception. The sanitary facilities are in reasonably good condition. However, in the high season probably too few showers (3 for the ladies) and too few toilets (3). Unfortunately, the toilets were apparently not cleaned for several days during our stay...

Beautifully situated, quiet, beautiful hiking environment
Camping Muggenbrunn. 8-09-2018 - 12-09-2018. Hochschwarzwald, , A beautifully situated campsite at 1050 m altitude in the Black Forest. Nice large pitches enough for caravan front tent and car, on horizontal terraces. Electricity nearby (10A),only water taps are scarce. Sanitary buildings are modern...

Does not deliver what it promises
I have to wonder about the extremely positive reviews so far. Unfortunately, our experience was very different. We wanted to stay for 2 nights with the camper van in October. The welcome was extremely reserved and we were told straight away that this would be bad as the permanent winter campers might...

    Quiet campsite for hiking
Nice campsite, the pitches were a little too small for us. Nice operators. Clean, new sanitary facilities. Location: remote. Good for hiking, otherwise you really always need a car.

    Great altitude
Very nice quiet campsite, the road that runs right past the site is hardly disturbing, at least in winter. Hikes from the site are possible, great bread roll service, very nice and helpful operators. Generally very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Great panoramic hikes in Todtnau-Berg possible from the Ratschert parking lot, excursions to Freiburg, Basel and the southern Black Forest possible. The pitches for transit campers could be a little wider.

    Nice insider tip
Beautifully situated campsite in the southern Black Forest over 1000 meters above sea level. Actually, it's better to keep it a secret tip so that we can get a place again next time. I can only write for the winter, we haven't been here in the summer yet. The operators are super friendly, helpful and...

    Very nice place for skiers
We were there for the first week in January and have to say it was great. The ski lift is within walking distance and the prices for the ski lift and ski school are reasonable and cannot be compared with ski resorts in Austria. A must for families with children.

Beautifully laid out pitches, some with good mountain views. You can hear the road on the lower pitches. The sanitary facilities were good and always very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The price-performance ratio was right. It was certainly not the last time we stayed there.

The campsite is beautifully situated, ideal for tours by bike. Tip: opposite the campsite in the forest, in the direction of "Stübenwasen", then in the direction of "St. Wilhemer Hütte" on the Feldberg. Then once around the Feldberg and back again. That's about 30 km and easy to cycle. The campsite is...
