- De J.September 2021Pozitīvi- One of the widest beaches in the Netherlands with active lifeguard and water sports activities. Beach even provided with 'Quality Coast' seal of approval. - Equipped with free tennis court at recreation resort. - Neighborhood supermarket available. - Several beautiful play facilities at the campsite and recreation resort. - Ample parking. - Active camping associations.Negatīvais- Reasonable for mobile homes. More tent sites would be nice.Camping and recreation resortA nice place near the beach and the sea. Beautiful walks can be made in the dunes and forests (Natura-2000 areas of "The South Holland Landscape". In addition, you can enjoy cycling to the village. The 'FL- Kustroute' goes past the campsite and recreation resort, Nice to see that they are busy modernizing the seaside resort of Hoek van Holland. Many interesting new facilities are being added that make it more and more enjoyable for tourists.Automātiski tulkots.
- Heiko M.July 2020Pozitīvithe location of the campsite is ideal for excursions to The Hague, Rotterdam for a harbor tour & for swimmingNegatīvaisWashrooms which are not always so clean are only open until 10.00 p.m. and are then cleared by security, but this does not restrict the noise on the site!It would be a nice placeThe place itself is clean & quiet, if it weren't for the roommates! We paid €38 per night for 2 people with a caravan. That's quite reasonable when you consider the noise & the not always very clean sanitary facilities. Bread rolls & everything you need is available in the small supermarket in front... of the campsite. Restaurants / bars are on the beach & in the city as well as a snack bar in front of the square which we unfortunately have not tested.Automātiski tulkots.
- Peter P.August 2019PozitīviEverything clean, large clean waste disposal points, close to the beach 10 min walk nice big supermarket and fresh bread and rollsNegatīvaisSanitary facilities are in need of renovationPleasantly surprised:After reading all the negative comments, I was skeptical. But when I arrived I saw that everything was a bit exaggerated, the receptionist was very friendly, the assigned space was big enough, electricity was sufficient, everything was fully satisfied, many people are to blame for the cleanliness, otherwise... everything is clean, the employees can't run after everyone. the store was great, everything you need was available, no sign of overpriced prices, everything was OK.Automātiski tulkots.
- Oliver L.August 2015Expensive impositionOne of the worst and most expensive campsites I have ever visited. No wonder we had to pay in advance. First we were assigned to a place with our motorhome that was close to a parking lot. It's better to park for free on a highway parking lot. After that, we were put on a grass verge between permanent... campers (converted caravans). There's a road all around, so you feel like you're "vacationing" on a traffic island. Sorry, this is not possible. Although we paid 3 days in advance, we left after the first night. However, the money was not paid out to us again, but they wanted to keep us on the pitch. A rip-off on behalf of the city of Rotterdam. So be careful!!!!! The toilet facilities are also past their prime and date back to the 70s, although the homepage says something about modern toilet facilities. Nobody will see us here again. I would prefer not to give a star for this imposition of a campsite.Automātiski tulkots.
- Henri F.August 2015PozitīviClose to the dunes and the sea. Only five minutes to the UK ferry (Harwich).NegatīvaisCars have to park outside. Occasionally loud until late at night due to long-term campers.Good overnight stay before the England ferry.Have often stayed here overnight before and after the England ferry. Ideally suited for this. The site is characterized by tin bungalows surrounding the camping area. Therefore a lot of sociable family activity. Toilets very cramped and unheated. Cars have to be parked outside. Booking uncomplicated, friendly reception from the security staff even after office hours.Automātiski tulkots.
- Joachim H.October 2014PozitīviVery close to the lake and close to the town for shopping, perfect cycling routes to Den Hag, Delft or Rotterdam.NegatīvaisNo secure and weather-protected bicycle parking facilities.A perfect vacation possible.Especially in spring and fall a perfect vacation time. Very friendly staff and perfect green maintenance.Automātiski tulkots.
- Susanne K.July 2013Unfortunately, the ladies at reception were not very obliging and completely overwhelmed. After the first one had charged us double the price, the next one on the following day didn't think it was necessary to apologize but was annoyed. Very unprofessional! The security staff are also quite superfluous in the crowd. Who likes to have their face lit up at night?Automātiski tulkots.

- Manuela K.August 2011The place was easy to find, the reception was manned by 3 ladies. German is also spoken. You get a map of the site and then look for your own pitch, the pitches have electricity and water nearby. Cars are only allowed to drive in to unload shopping, for example, after which they have to be taken to the... allocated parking space. There is a food market that sells everything you need. There is a pub on site that also serves chips and frikandel. There is a room with a washing machine and dryer. There is a playground and a net where you can play volleyball. Lots of permanent campers with fixed mobile homes. The only thing that bothered me was the cleaning of the sanitary facilities. There are separate rooms, toilets outside and showers inside. Unfortunately, the toilets have never seen a cloth, they are blasted with a steam jet, and the toilet paper that gets wet is then in the drainage channel and in the undergrowth around the toilets for days. If you go to the toilet shortly after the steam has been emitted, water drips onto your body from everywhere. Unfortunately, the cobwebs have not been removed in 10 days. The showers are cleaned normally and hot water is included in the price, which is of course great. The walk to the beach is a bit long if you are packed with a lounger etc. We mostly went by car, the parking lot costs 5.00 euros for the whole day. There are several paths to the beaches, including through dunes, where you could be relatively alone. There are restaurants on the beach. The food is recommended in all of them. We tried a few. A new promenade is currently being built on the beach, with an ice cream store, souvenir store and newsagent (including German newspapers). The town center can be reached quickly by car. Small town with Lidl, Zeemann, newsagents, bicycle stores etc. Small cafe on the village square. Coffee recommended. The town of Gouda, Scheveningen and the 24 windmills are recommended for excursions a little further afield. I hope this review helps. A "the best place I know" doesn't help me that much!Automātiski tulkots.
