"Sanitary facilities in a class of their own! - Nice, not too big campsite with large pitches. Electricity and water directly at the site. The sanitary facilities are of excellent quality, there is even underfloor heating. The operators are friendly and courteous. There are good opportunities for hiking and cycling. Kayaking tours are also possible. Even if the weather didn't always play along, we felt very comfortable.

"small, quiet, well-kept campsite - We have chosen Camping Houtum as a starting point for excursions in Flanders. Antwerp and Brussels are very easy to reach. We were also impressed by the cleanliness, facilities and the very friendly staff. The café can be described as a novelty, bar would be a better description, many Belgian beer specialties, cocktails and homemade lemonades invite you to linger. We won't have been here for the last time.

"Graspop Metal Meeting - I booked Camping Houtum as an alternative to GMM parking. The whole package is much cheaper, offers more space and includes one more day compared to the GMM offer.

"Rest, nature, hiking, biking, - Great camping all year round. Friendly and helpful management. Cozy cafe. Beautiful large pitches. Water on and off. 10 Amp. Quietly situated on the Kleine Nete with possibility of Kayak. In October the pumpkin festivals. Many good restaurants in the area. Indoor and outdoor playground. Only 10 km from 2 highway. E313 and E34. Highly recommended.

"Located close to the highway - Actually only chosen by us as a place to stay overnight near the highway between Antwerp and Eindhoven, we were totally thrilled by the friendliness of the owners, the location of the place as well as the equipment and cleanliness of this facility.next to a mobile home settlement, which is located in a wooded area, and therefore hardly noticeable, this CP was completely rebuilt.beautiful pitches partly parceled, new, modern and very clean sanitary facilities. Good value. ACSI card is accepted. You can also spend a vacation here. Ideal for cycling and hiking. Restaurant and shops nearby. Lidl etc. 500m away.

You will find Houtum campsite in the Belgian Kempen, near Kasterlee. This medium-sized campsite is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, as well as for hikers and nature lovers. In autumn, during the pumpkin festivals, the whole of Kasterlee …is bathed in orange. The highlight is the pumpkin regatta, where participants race down the river in hollowed-out pumpkins. 70 lovingly laid out pitches for tents, caravans, campers or folding tents are ready and waiting for you. Whether you stay for a day, a week, a month or six months, you are always welcome! Thanks to the greenery between the villages, you will stay in a beautiful natural environment. The many hedges create cosy spots and quiet corners for a good book. During the camping season, Café de Congé is the ideal place to relax. Enjoy a drink on the spacious sun terrace or inside, where air conditioning is installed for your added comfort. You can also play a game of billiards or table football for fun. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the holiday feeling! What is there to do with us? The Kempen's showpiece is, above all, the hundreds of kilometres of hiking, cycling and mountain bike trails. Discover them all on our ‘Discover the Region’ page. Children can spend hours walking around the indoor and outdoor play areas. There's no time for boredom. And with a little luck, they'll find a new playmate. Fancy something sporty? How about a petanque tournament or a game of beach volleyball? Behind the Café de Congé, near the terrace, the petanque court and beach volleyball court are ready for you to use. It's free of charge. Animal lovers can admire the goats in our goat pen. You can stroke them if they dare to come close. If you really want to feed them, you can do so with a jar of appropriate food, which is for sale in the coolest playhouse in the Domain de Putten. If you fancy a ‘terrace’ or recharging your batteries with coffee, beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails and much more, head to Café de Congé.
