On the large camping site there is a supermarket (bread rolls and everything you need), a snack bar, a restaurant (good selection and tasty), a swimming pool, a sauna, a soccer pitch, a bowling alley and an indoor play hall.
The... smaller and quieter site "Het swarte Schaar" is about 500 m away.
We were on this part of the campsite and found clean sanitary buildings. They were cleaned several times a day.
Each pitch had an electricity connection and the water connection was centrally located.
The surrounding area is attractive and very suitable for cycling. The small town of Doesburg, with numerous restaurants and shopping facilities, can be reached by bike in about 15 minutes.Automātiski tulkots.- steffen B.July 2024PozitīviGreat entertainment and games for children. Too high prices in the supermarket, etc.Nice place, improvements neededThe site is nice, clean, quiet during the week and is beautifully situated on the IJssel. When the water level is low, the musty smell of the water is unbearable. The sanitary facilities looked very good from the outside (closed due to Corona). The restaurants on the campsite are very good at fair prices.... We had private sanitary facilities, clean but already very used and without heating. The service staff should pay a little more attention to the site rules, e.g. dogs are not allowed in the shore area, but there were still campers with dogs there. On the rest of the campsite max. two dogs are allowed, there was a family with up to five large dogs, which didn't bother me at first They were quiet and didn't attract any attention, but why did we have to take our third dog to a kennel. Ideal for cycling tours and boat trips. There is a lot on offer for children. Great football pitch, indoor/outdoor pool, games paradise etc.. We had a pitch with private sanitary facilities. There seem to be older and newer ones. Our shower... had a curtain, which also looked a bit worn. Unfortunately, the private sanitary facilities cannot be heated, which is not very good for the climate in them. Nothing dries at this time of year. A little tip: if it has been raining for a long time, don't try to maneuver the caravan with the car on the grass. Thanks to the mover, our pitch has no tire marks from spinning wheels.Automātiski tulkots.

Swimming pool very good.NegatīvaisTravel distance (access) of the port areas.Actually very goodAnyone using the attractive harbor sites with a motorhome must consider this very carefully. The descent is very steep - as you have to drive up again, the gradient and angle are quite problematic. It is almost impossible not to touch down, and if you stop on the slope it is very difficult to drive off because of the smooth paving stones. In addition, the approx. 50 m long access road to the pitches on the shore is very hilly with deep potholes.Automātiski tulkots.
- Arne K.June 2019PozitīviLocationNegatīvaislooks unkemptI am disappointed...... untrimmed hedges that overgrow the footpath, paved paths that have been partially reclaimed by grass and have DEEP potholes and grooves, unmown meadows, smelly little house as private sanitary facilities. In my opinion, too many "well" points for a fairly high-priced campsite. The very friendly reception... really is a ray of hope, but over 150 euros for a Corpus Christi weekend for two would have been too much for me. Good thing we had a voucher from a large Dutch leisure market! The location on the IJssel arm with the harbor and dike etc. is very nice, as was the town of Doesburg. The restaurant on site was also OK. I found it strange that only "emergency toilets" are available at night and the sanitary building is closed. I have never experienced this before. There were lots of little things that we didn't like. We are therefore unlikely to return.Automātiski tulkots.

Good value for money.NegatīvaisI don't personally find the 6A fuse too low.Pitch on the water without luxury but nice.We had a pitch by the water that was big enough for cars and caravans. No luxury but nice. The sanitary building behind the small hill at the registration is NEW, nicely furnished and equipped. It was always clean. Only the water jet from the showers could be increased a little. The supermarket is well... equipped. I would even give 6 stars to the lady at reception. Friendly, very good information and helpful. We didn't use the swimming pool as the roof was being renovated. That's where the nice lady at reception comes into play again. Our neighbor had arrived with her son and he didn't really have much fun because he found few children and the swimming pool was closed. The receptionist canceled the family's booking after 2 days and was also helpful in finding and booking another pitch that we recommended to the family for their son. That was a nice gesture from the operator who made it possible for the family to have a nice vacation after all by restricting the swimming pool.Automātiski tulkots.
- Weinheimer J.October 2017Fall vacationWe had a pitch by the water. This pitch resembled a "field". No water on the pitch, nearest tap approx. 200m. Power connection approx. 50m. The fuse blew after just one hour. TV, coffee machine and lighting were too much. After the second night, when the awning was destroyed due to the strong storm,... we wanted to leave. The departure was a disaster. We and our friends got stuck on the field (even though it hadn't rained much). It was so bad for our friends that they had to be pulled out.Automātiski tulkots.
- Andy 5.October 2016PozitīviGreat location for cycling, swimming pool, good restaurant, well-stocked camping store, value for moneyNegatīvaisOctober 2016 without sanitary building as new building is under constructionNice place in a good locationWe were here in October and unfortunately had the misfortune that the sanitary building had just been demolished before winter and a new building had just started to be built. The sanitary containers set up as a replacement unfortunately had no comfort at all (not even coat hooks or shelves) and were... unheated and cold at this time of year. There would certainly have been better containers here. As compensation, however, we had daily entry to the small but nice swimming pool, which made up for this disadvantage. A brand new sanitary building will be available for the next season. We were lucky that it was dry the whole week, as there wasn't much grass left on our pitch. Otherwise, there is nothing negative to say. We enjoyed the culinary offerings of the campsite restaurant and it was great. Cycling is very good in both directions along the dyke, as far as the tires will carry you. The town of Doesburg in the immediate vicinity is a must-see. A small town center with great stores and cafes invites you to stroll around. The weekly offer was very good value for money.Automātiski tulkots.

Too often loud music in the evening!!!Beautifully situated campsiteActually a great place, but 3 times a week until midnight VERY loud music, which resounded over the whole place, is too much for a campsite in our opinion, especially because there were still many smaller children, sleep was out of the question!!! Pretty unfriendly and "short-tempered" reception, just... because we wanted to stand together with friends. Far too few sanitary buildings for this large site, ours was at least 500 m away. You can find everything and everyone on the tourist pitches. We had a pitch with private sanitary facilities. It was our first time there, so I can't make any comparisons,... but I have to say that the showers don't work very well and the building is very small. Once you've showered, everything is under water and steamed up. But maybe that's normal. If you catch a period with a lot of rain, you should be well prepared. The floor doesn't soak up water. The weekly campfire by the water was great, but with loud music until late at night, which didn't bother us. It's nice to have a boat there. You shouldn't expect too much from the swimming pool, it's small. It doesn't matter where you pitch your tent, it's always a long way to the sanitary building. Hardly anyone dares to shower in a bathrobe in wind and weather. Unless you have your own sanitary... building like we do. These are quite large, as is the pitch itself, but apart from three coat hooks, there are no shelves for your utensils or even a place to sit. After a rain shower, the pitch is very muddy. As we were here at the end of October, the site was not very busy. This was probably also the reason that the café was very poorly heated, which is why we had to keep our jackets on. This time we had our pitch above the harbor. Super nice welcome at the reception. Sanitary facilities are fine, showers and toilets are in a large room. Supermarket good, restaurant on site and in the harbor very good. The indoor pool is "heated by the sun"... and so it is not so warm when it is cloudy. The place made a good impression right from the start. The price included entry to the swimming pool and the indoor playground. The landing at the campsite no longer had the full offer. It seemed... that way to me because of the partly empty shelves and it was only open in the morning. but there were still bread rolls. you can also go shopping in nearby Doesburg. All in all, we had nothing to complain about. The people were nice, the swimming pool well maintained, the indoor playground too. Everything was great.Automātiski tulkots.
- Sabine B.November 2013Large campsite on the river (characterized by permanent campers). the most beautiful places are on the water or at the harbour. unfortunately there is only a small, narrow, foul-smelling toilet container. There is a nice big playground, supermarket, restaurant and indoor swimming pool at the main building.... (Unfortunately, the water temperature felt like 24 degrees) The next town (Doesburg) can be reached by bike in 10 minutes. conclusion: For families with small children, well suited.Automātiski tulkots.
- Tanja N.October 2013We were here for the first time in years during the fall vacations. It's a wonderful campsite that offers a lot for the money. The free swimming pool and the playhouse are particularly great. We stood on the water's edge. It was easy to stand here despite the storm. A small disadvantage is that not all... pitches are dry in the rainy season. Although the sanitary facilities are old, they were always clean. The toilet container by the water takes some getting used to, but you can quickly reach the right toilet block via the dyke. The staff at the reception, supermarket, playhouse and snack bar were always friendly and there were no problems. The campsite is a little paradise for dogs, cyclists and anglers. Not everything here is 100%, but you feel really comfortable and the view of the water and boats is definitely a dream. We'll be back, that's for sure.Automātiski tulkots.
