astrid v.September 2019NegatīvaisNo longer maintainedNo longer the campsite it wasWe have just returned from camping in de Bongerd, it is no longer the site it was in the days of the Voss family. It is no longer well maintained, the office staff are overwhelmed because people are constantly asking about next year's pitches, there are no new flyers or price lists. You are put off.... Since all the chalets are now supposed to be on the plot with its own washing cubicles, a lot of seasonal campers who would like to come further afield have to be accommodated, which in my opinion is not possible. I also wonder whether the manager still lives on the site, as it looks very uninhabited. Hopefully this won't backfire. There wasn't as much going on on the pitch at this time of year as there was in previous years, you missed a lot of familiar facesAutomātiski tulkots.

So far we have always enjoyed coming here because the personality of the Voss family has never been missing. The place was always well maintained. This is not the case on this vacation. Everything has suffered due to the sale to Siblu. It got to the... point where we had to mow it ourselves, otherwise you can only get to the car with a machete. The hedges were not cut for 4 months, so that our caravan was completely enclosed. We were barely able to open the windows or empty the toilet. We asked for a hedge trimmer. We are not allowed to cut the hedge and someone will take care of this problem in about 14 days. All in all, nobody here was interested in anything when it came to camping with a caravan. It was probably different with the chalets, as they had to be sold. We left a week beforehand.Automātiski tulkots.

We really enjoyed it again, although this time we didn't have a comfort pitch with a private bathroom on the pitch. We had decided too late for this short vacation. But we also felt very comfortable on a "small" pitch. Of course, the camper van... shouldn't have been any longer, but it wasn't. Now we were able to enjoy the sanitary blocks, which are all very clean and well maintained. The restaurant on the campsite still has a lot of room for improvement as far as the service of the staff is concerned. But it was still the beginning of the season and they certainly still have time to learn. - But that wasn't so important to us. All the other staff on the campsite and at reception were always very friendly and approachable. We will be back. We stayed at this campsite for 2 weeks from Easter. The pitch sizes are great and the sanitary facilities are excellent. We had a private bathroom right on our pitch, which made it even more comfortable. The location means you can get to the town quickly and use the shopping facilities there, so there is no lack of a supermarket on the site. However, you can buy bread rolls on site in the morning. The site itself is also very well maintained and the layout of the pitches/mobile homes is well thought out. For families with children, this is probably an ideal site with an indoor pool and playgrounds spread throughout the campsite. WLAN is also available throughout the site. However, the registration/deregistration process is somewhat outdated and not necessarily suitable for cell phones. But doable. It is a good place for dog owners, as there are plenty of walking opportunities outside the campsite. The sea is within easy reach and the surrounding villages and towns are well worth a visit. Michael S.July 2017PozitīviClean sanitary facilities, wide range of leisure activities nearby, great beach, excellent network of cycle pathsclean place in the heart of ZeelandVery nice, clean and well-kept site in an inland location. I have rarely seen a site with such clean sanitary facilities. The site has been repeatedly extended and modernized in recent years. Food is not available on the campsite. The only thing you can buy is bread rolls in the morning and chips in... the evening. There is a restaurant next to the reception. Simple but tasty dishes can be ordered there. In the evenings, the restaurant also serves as a sociable meeting place for vacationers. However, there is a large supermarket in Oostkapelle, which is only 300 - 400 m away on foot. Everything you need is available there. In bad weather there is a small swimming pool which can be used. There is a bike rental next door. So you are mobile if you don't want to drive to the beach (approx. 2 km). The staff (owners and employees) were also very friendly and helpful. In the high season there is an extensive entertainment program for children. Zeeland offers a charming landscape that invites you to explore. The region is very much geared towards guests. There is therefore a wide range of activities that are fun even in bad weather. There is never a dull moment. The best thing is the extensive network of cycle paths. The cycle paths in Zeeland are almost all better than the road network in Germany. Mirror-smooth whisper asphalt. Hammer. Our regular spot in Zeeland. We've been there at least once a year for years, and we spent our summer vacation there in 2015 and 2017. And we've already booked for 2018. The pitches are large and the trees and hedges provide shade and privacy in midsummer. The location on the edge of the village is quiet but still central to the village center and to beautiful bike tours.... Children can have a great time on the many playgrounds, sports field, table football, swimming pool and children's entertainment... The pitch was huge and the sanitary unit was excellently equipped. The whole site is clearly laid out and it's easy to find your way around. You can buy bread rolls on site, but also in the nearby supermarket in the village.... You can eat in the restaurant and also take away snacks and pizza. The playgrounds are spread all over the site and are very nice. The swimming pool is also nice, perhaps a little too cold in the fall and certainly too small in the high season. It's easy to walk your dog and you can quickly leave the site for a walk. There are also waste garbage cans in many places, and dog bag dispensers would also be nice. All in all, we had a very nice, relaxing vacation there and will be happy to return.Automātiski tulkots.

- karin c.May 2013A very well-kept CP, with great pitches and beautiful playgrounds. The sanitary facilities are clean, well maintained and modern. There is also a dog shower. In the morning you get baked goods, nothing more, but you can walk (5 minutes) to Ostkapelle with a supermarket, coffee, restaurant, ice cream... parlor, etc.. Unfortunately, I find the distance to the beach quite far, just to look over the sea in the evening.........., we went by car. For all the girls, you can book a beach ride at Manege Duno. - Conny D.October 2012Beautiful, especially the newer part of the site. Friendly staff. Super playground that stretches like a path across the new grounds. The "sports cage" is really great! Children who love ball games meet there all day long. The paths are mostly paved, so you can also go inline skating, waveboarding, etc.... The town center is only a few meters away, to the beach you should take the bike (10 minutes). Bike rental right next door. Dogs allowed, at least in the low season.Automātiski tulkots.
