- Christian H.June 2016Pozitīvi- Quiet location and very nice staff - Nice and quiet guests - Favorable price compared to other places on siteNegatīvais- Protection from mosquitoes necessary in the evening and at nightCozy and very suitable for relaxingEven at reception, everything was very friendly and relaxed and they also understood English, which is not the norm in France. As the site was not overcrowded in the low season, we were able to choose a pitch that suited us. The campsite is very quiet, especially at night when you can hardly hear anything... apart from the birds. The new sanitary building is well thought out, offers all the comfort you need and is also cleaned very well and regularly. It wouldn't have hurt to point out that baguettes are sold at the reception building. We only realized after about a week that you can buy breakfast there. The only downside was the large number of mosquitoes during our stay. However, it has to be said that they were only really prevalent in the evening and at night, nothing was noticeable during the day. In the end, we bought mosquito plugs to keep them out of the caravan and awning, which worked really well. As the campsite is not directly by the sea, it takes a few minutes by bike to get to the beach. It's a great place to relax and unwind, not least because of the friendly and polite guests.Automātiski tulkots.
- Dieter d.September 2012We have known this site for 35 years now and were amused when we visited it in 2009 that the sanitary facilities were still the same, clean but ancient. We were all the more surprised to see that since last year there has been a huge new sanitary building in the middle of the site with lots of toilets... and showers. What's more, the site was only 20% full at most and we were able to choose the large pitch that suited us best. There are lots of alcoves here, surrounded by green bushes. Although private, "La Pinede" is a typical municipal campsite with mainly French campers. There are no rental cabins and no rental tents, but in the high season the site seems to be mainly occupied by seasonal campers, judging by the caravans parked on a separate plot. We feel very comfortable on the site, it is absolutely quiet at night. The north side of the site is right next to a road where there are quite a lot of cars during the day. There are also lots of dogs being walked on the footpath in front of the fence and, together with the dogs living in the houses there, they often organize barking concerts together. But this is only disturbing right next to the fence. (For comparison: the CP de la Baie in the same village is usually fully booked, you are also closer together, but it is quieter there during the day and the place is "tidier"). To get to the beach - as with all the campsites in Cavalaire - you first have to stroll through the village. After that, you'll find a sandy beach that stretches for miles and gets deeper moderately quickly - ideal for us.Automātiski tulkots.
