General average condition of infrastructure. Makeshift repairs all over the place, making certain uses dangerous.
Disappointing
Minimalist and expeditious welcome. One week in a high-comfort pitch at the end of July 2016. Total lack of shade and impossible to stay on the pitch between 12pm and 6pm (it can be very hot in the Cantal). Shower with cold water 1 time out of two because hot water in the sanitary facilities is not guaranteed,... ditto for the random presence of PQ. Dangerous pool (dirty, slippery floor, loose floorboards: witnessed two accidents involving small children during the week), dry foot bath for 3 days and no shower. Outdated playground equipment (inflatables, modular structure and trampoline). Overflowing garbage cans in 3 poor containers emptied once a week on Mondays (when we arrived on Sunday, we could see the sidewalks of Marseille after a 1-month garbage strike). Local products are sold on site (such as the emblematic "Cantal"), but unfortunately come from the "supermarket" chain, vacuum-packed and pasteurized like the products used for the restaurant out of the boot of Jean Louis's "Merco" (bagged salads, frozen vegetables...). We did not test the restaurant's catering. In conclusion, the 4-star services offered by this campsite are not there, or no longer there, and without a profound desire to improve, its quality will quickly collapse. It's a shame, because despite this, the region and the surrounding area are magnificent.

The campsite is beautifully situated on a hill about 1.5 km from the village. The site is clean, with lots of large old trees providing shade. The very nice operators offer (guided) hiking tours of varying difficulty and length. The evenings were not boring either. At night we only heard a few cowbells In Cantal, both the environment and the people remained natural, we ate well for a reasonable price.

The campsite is situated on a hill just outside the town. Very nice pitches, some with a great view. The lower sanitary facilities are great, the upper ones are ok, but not as well maintained as the lower ones. The owner goes to great lengths. Shows every free pitch. Pulls the caravan onto the pitch... with his car (four-wheel drive). Every evening he puts on a program in the bar (French language). If we are in the area again, we will visit the site again.
