Well-kept, quiet city campsite
The campsite is located on the outskirts of the city of Ajaccio and is ideal for sightseeing. A very quiet, cozy site, with partly shady, but also sunny, always sufficiently large, parceled out stable pitches. There is a bread service at the friendly, English-speaking reception. The disposal of gray... water and the chem. WC is located in front of the barrier, so there are sometimes longer distances. The sanitary facilities are very tidy, very clean and functional, but of course no toilet seats/paper. It's a 45-minute walk to the port of Ajaccio (very noisy & hectic) or a shorter distance by bike, but this is only recommended for intrepid and hardy cyclists (count the number of bikes you see around the town and make up your own mind...).
At €26 (2 pers./van, with electricity, card payment possible) p.n. in the low season, it's a fair place. We felt very comfortable here.

a TOP place by Corsican standards
Probably the best place we have found in Corsica so far (2 trips). Very friendly reception with unfortunately almost only French. The flat, spacious pitches are allocated. Also the electricity connection.
Sanitary facilities clean around the clock. Hot water only in the showers and, as almost everywhere,... no gender segregation.
You can buy small items at the reception. There is also a bread roll service if you book the day before.
The center of Ajaccio can be reached on foot in 45 minutes (100 meters in altitude). Of course it's quicker by bike. However, Ajaccio is not very bike-friendly!

Absolutely quiet despite being close to the city
You have the skyscrapers of Ajaccio right in front of you, and yet it's very quiet. The place is very well-kept and clean, and the manager has everything under control with her Corsican but friendly manner.

City tour Ajaccio
We used this campsite to explore Ajaccio. The site is a little above the town and it took us 45 minutes to get into town. The site is nice and small and well laid out. The pitches are allocated and are rather small and the sanitary facilities are clean, but a bit old. The night was very quiet despite the big city.

Ideal campsite close to the town. Gravel/sand pitches - sufficiently large - also suitable for larger motorhomes over 8m. Approach rather narrow with oncoming traffic Very quiet

City camping
Even if it is a little further, you can still get to the city on foot. We were able to get here at 10.30 pm without any problems after the ferry was diverted and delayed.

..distance from Ajjacium is approx. 4 km, but it is possible to use the bus, which does not run in the evening, so it is necessary to take the path underfoot and "on foot". In the campsite there is no English, a little Italian and the rest is with your hands..
