Very unfriendly reception. No mini campers wanted.

Absolute failure. Very unfriendly and arrogant. This was the first time in 50 years of camping experience that I have experienced such treatment.
I don't even dare to give another rating. Everyone can decide for themselves how they want to be treated, we then drove straight on to the next site, Delle Gorette, which is a real recommendation.

Location to the beach, nice shady and sufficiently large pitches, no car traffic on the site due to external parking lot, very friendly staff

sometimes no compliance with and control of quiet times (loud music/conversations after 11pm) very very old sanitary facilities...were always clean but felt from the 50s (I have not seen this in 20 years of camping), no toilet paper - you had to bring your own, garbage cans right next to the washbasins (thus from time to time odor nuisance), chemical toilet open and right next to the outdoor showers ... Only 6 amps of electricity
Beautiful place with small "quirks"
Despite the disadvantages mentioned, we had a very nice time on the site.
The staff at reception and in the market are always friendly and courteous and make you feel welcome.
The beach can be reached through a small pine forest, on the beach itself (gravel-sand) you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas...if... you prefer it a little quieter you will find quiet and not too crowded places to lie 100m further even in high season.
But please please please - the sanitary facilities urgently need to be renovated!!! They no longer meet today's requirements and standards...
and it would be nice if the quiet times could be observed (on some days we felt like we were at a techno festival due to the music of other campers).

Very nice place 2014 - 2023
We have been visiting this campsite again and again since Easter 2014 and were very satisfied with the price and service. We were always greeted in German and welcomed like a member of the family. The sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and maintained over winter. The... bin area was always clean and the site was always kept tidy. There is a mini market, restaurant, bar, snack bar, etc. on the site. The walk to the beach is bearable. The beach was a construction site in 2014 and has become really nice over the last few years. The campsite is located between Pisa and Piombino and is therefore ideal for trips to the north and south. The whole family always enjoys going back to Mareblu. Thanks to the whole Mareblue team. We are already looking forward to our next stay at this campsite.

Friendly, multilingual staff at the reception, small store with many articles, restaurant with good pizza, with enough choice of dishes and good quality. Sanitary blocks cleaned twice a day. Pitches for caravans and motorhomes in the semi-shady pine forest.

Depending on the plot and tree population, only limited SAT reception possible. Plots in front of the pine forest have no shade, but SAT reception. Plots are generally spacious. But the 97 was considerably smaller. General condition of the sanitary facilities. Unfortunately no entertainment, shows or music events in September.
Vacation to slow down
The small store seems "crammed" with so many items. Too much in too little space. But everything the camper needs for everyday life to satisfy hunger, thirst or other needs is available.

The sanitary facilities are old and urgently need to be modernized. The cleaning ladies do their best to clean the... ceramic toilets and washbasins. The floor was also cleaned properly.
The sitting toilets are equipped with the cheapest plastic seat rings available. Accordingly, the seats are worn and broken. The seat supports on the underside of the seat rings have completely broken away. I only found one that was okay. The showers are cramped and dark like a cave. They work well but the hot water control should be changed. A button in the shower to start and stop the flow of water would be useful. The partitions should reach down to the floor. Now the neighbors' water also reaches you. Otherwise, 4 minutes of hot water is sufficient. The stainless steel holder with the glass plate should be replaced on the washbasins. The silt between the steel and the glass top is simply disgusting. The sinks, the disposal for the chemical cassette, washing machines etc. should be reconsidered and structured differently. Proper traps should be fitted to all washbasins and sinks. The smell from the drain at the sinks is disgusting. The whole ambience of the sanitary blocks can be considerably upgraded with little effort, some paint, clean windows, no cobwebs, more light inside. This would also contribute to guest satisfaction.

Too bad there were no events. I always liked it at other campsites in Italy when you could meet up with your neighbor in the piazza in the evening, chat, have a beer and watch the event.

I won't be back because of the sanitary facilities.

Older but nice campsite, nice quite large semi-shaded pitches, no cars on the pitches which is very pleasant! Sanitary blocks are older but clean and functional. Staff very friendly, helpful and German speaking. Restaurant unfortunately only English and Italian also the menus. Small self-service market... with the most important things was ok. Free W-Lan, partly also on the pitches, better reception at the pool. Path to the beach leads through a pine forest about 300m! Beach gray sand with stones (natural) but there are several beach bars.

Very nice place 2014 - 2019
We have been visiting this campsite again and again since Easter 2014 and were very satisfied with the price and service. We were welcomed in German, everyone was very friendly and each time we were recognized by the owner. We paid with Campingcheque and ASCI, which was no problem. The sanitary facilities... are cleaned regularly and maintained over the winter. The bin area was always clean and the site was always kept tidy. The stores on the campsite were well stocked and not overpriced. The restaurant prices were in line with those in Tuscany. The walk to the beach is bearable. The beach was a construction site in 2014 and has become really nice over the last few years. The campsite is located between Pisa and Piombino and is therefore ideal for excursions to the north and south. The whole family always enjoys going to Mareblu.

Our 6th stay
The overall package (accommodation, beach etc.) at a fair price absolutely met our expectations. However, an absolute no-go and always an annoyance is the WLAN reception (€ 20.00 surcharge for two weeks and hardly any reception is no longer up to date and should be urgently reconsidered by the management).

Always a popular campsite in the pine forest
We don't visit this place every year, but we do regularly in the early or late season. The friendly, uncomplicated welcome and the shady yet translucent pine forest quickly create a relaxed atmosphere. For us, Mareblu is not a "camping factory", but a real campsite with a good mix of guests and a manageable infrastructure.

If you don't need wi-fi, you won't find any.
It's beautiful there.
We were there in May / June 2018. The way to the beach and the dog beach is reasonable and beautiful through the forest. 10 min. Both beaches are well maintained and clean, without extra charge. Sanitary facilities are fine, we had toilet seats ! I didn't expect soap and toilet paper in Italy anyway.... The 4 minutes shower time is enough with good preparation. Free of charge. The pitch is big enough and since there is no dish under the trees, the antenna socket is practical. The reception is good in contrast to the wifi. It's not worth spending money on it. German is spoken at reception, always friendly and helpful.

for excursions in the surrounding area (Pisa, Florence, Siena etc.)
Very nice operators, uncomplicated when registering, we were able to choose a place ourselves, which then even had satellite connection, BUT: the sanitary facilities are clean - but without toilet seats, neither toilet paper nor soap available (but bathing cap compulsory in the pool), the showers run 4 minutes with hot water (free), the way to the sea is already a bit to walk through the forest.

Place by the sea to explore Tuscany | Update to 2017
This time we were at the campsite in September. As before, we felt very comfortable again. You can tell that the friendliness of the staff and the good food in the pizzeria on site are not exceptions, but are standard. Once again, we were able to use the campsite as a base for sightseeing in Tuscany... or relaxing on the beach. ------------------------------------------------------------------- We stayed there for almost 14 days and felt very comfortable on the pitch. We were greeted in a friendly and courteous manner from the moment we arrived. We could look for our own pitch, but I can't say whether this is possible in the high season. The sanitary buildings are strategically distributed around the site. Although they are not the most modern, all the showers, washbasins and toilets are in good condition and well maintained. Cleaning is daily. Pitches are separated by hedges and are located in a pine forest. The path to the beach is easy to walk or you can go by bike, which can also be used for longer tours. The bar serves tasty coffee and wine at reasonable prices. The restaurant also offers good food at a good price. We were very satisfied and will be back again.

We were in Tuscany again after 10 years. The journey was a bit bumpy as we needed the ADAC. But mega super good help from the reception team. THANK YOU. Pitches super large. Delicious pizza. Pitches in the pine forest so very shady which was very pleasant in the 2017 temperatures. Beach accessible through the forest

Sanitary facilities are in very poor condition. The poolside manners are sometimes hair-raising.
Space to feel good
Pleasant place with typical Maremma flair. Very friendly and helpful staff. In contrast, a very rude and arrogant lifeguard with absurd rules: You are not allowed to eat an apple at the pool, swimming caps must be worn like in the old days ??? but bathers dripping with sweat and oil are allowed to plunge... into the water without showering. The somewhat long walk to the sea makes up for this. Simply beautiful. Many paths in the pine forest for hiking. Nice, nearby restaurants (you have to look for them!) Have been coming here again and again for 6 years.

Very nice campsite in the pine forest
We (a young couple) were staying at the campsite for the first time. In general, it can really be recommended. The positive thing is that the cars are parked outside and you can reach shopping facilities nearby by bike (approx. 4-7km). It is quiet and about 500 meters from the beach. Disadvantage: You... have to wear a swimming cap to swim in the pool, you are not allowed to have any food or drink with you and you are not allowed to play ball. That sounds like rules from the 70s. Otherwise the place is really great.

A simple, slightly outdated campsite. Extremely nice first welcome from the night warden. He opened the parking lot for us so that we could sleep there for a few more hours. Quick check-in. Car may only enter the campsite on arrival or departure. The site itself and the toilet facilities were always... clean and are cleaned regularly. Although the toilet facilities are slowly in need of renovation. No toilet paper or soap available in the toilets (apparently common on campsites in Tuscany). great entertainment program during the high season. Camping restaurant recommended. From 23.00/23:30 the campsite is quiet. The beach can be reached via a pine forest (300-400m). There is also a nearby stone beach. All in all, a very successful summer vacation. Would visit the campsite again.

We (62 and 61) stayed at the campsite from the end of September to mid-October. The pitches are large and sunny at the back, as it is very cold and shady under the pine trees at this time of year. The sanitary facilities are old but clean. Unfortunately there is no toilet paper. You can cycle along the... coast to Bibona (6 km through pine forest - very beautiful) or north to Rosignano (beautiful white beach). The supermarket on the campsite is poorly stocked, but there are plenty of markets in Cecina or Vada. Nice weekly market in Cecina on Tuesdays.

Too tricky in high season because of the peace and quiet
too bad the very few permanent campers are annoying because of the rest periods
Very shady, very well located pitch in the pine forest, approx. 400 meters pine forest to the sea, therefore little strong wind on the pitch. We were here for the second time this year from July 24 to August 7 and, like last year, had the same pitches next to three old Italian permanent campers. They... are annoying, as they are set exactly to the quiet times. That means, noon 14:00-16:00 siesta absolute silence otherwise complaints will be made and from 23:00-08:00 absolute silence otherwise complaints will also be made. With children it is difficult to maintain absolute silence after midday. Make sure that there are no permanent campers in the vicinity, otherwise recommended.

Nice place with lots of shade.
+ Clean . Friendly staff and very clean pool. Cars have to park outside so very quiet. - No toilet paper and no soap in the toilet. Loud music from the neighboring square and Luna Park often until after midnight.

We were there in October. The pitches are almost exclusively in the shade, are large enough and, in the event of rain, the gravel soil allows enough water to pass through. The pitches are separated by small plants. Pool was still partly open, was not so well maintained (algae on the edge), store with... bread rolls to order was still open. The sanitary facilities are outdated, mostly clean, but unfortunately no toilet paper. There were a lot of dog owners on the campsite (but very disciplined!). The short walk to the sea (through the forest) prevents a direct view of the sea, but also keeps the wind out. Very friendly and helpful staff.
